Hi Gurus,
Here i am Working on EWM,,,I am getting data from Legacy system,,,,,,,,like
Handling unit,DOCNO,TOtal weight,Frieght cost and Tracking NUmber,,,This data i have to update in THE EWM,,,,Could any body can help me in this,,,,,I know the tables to be updated,,,,
/SCWM/HUHDR-----Is for update -Weight-with the handling unit(HUIDENT),,,,
/SCWM/HU_IDENT----Is for upate the Tracking number (HUIDENT) under the Type "T" with GUI id
and Frieght cost also should be update in the SAME TABLE SAME filed but the TYPE is "R".........Here HANDLING unit,,,and Tracking NUMBER Field names are same but Tracking Number is (Alternative Handling Unit Identification),,,I guess it is clear,,,pls help me in this,,,,
Here i am looking for Aany BAPI or Function module,,
Could you guys can suggest me which is best method,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hello Diogo,
currently there is no EWM-EM connection and Business Process Type available.
Only chance would be that you create the connction by yourself.
But this would require not only create a BPT but also coding for the connection to EM.

Hello Gaurav,
Try using user exit 005(EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_005) which is fired for each item. U can incorporate ur logic to generate the tracking number in this exit.

Item had tracking number on the 4th, NOT received yet, NO update since the 7th! HELP! :(

I pre-ordered a DVD set on January 10th, the release date being today. On March 4th, I received the tracking number for my item, but there has been NO update on the tracking number provided since March 7th. I called Best Buy and they said to call UPS. I did so, and they said to call Best Buy! I feel like I'm getting nowhere!
While I know that there was severe weather in TN, OH and KY during the time I was waiting for the tracking number to be activated (between the 4th and the 6th),I know that something should have happened to my item between the 7th and now.

Having to wait for your item to update upon release can make anyone anxious! I'm sorry to hear that your DVD may not have shipped as soon as you expected. When items release and pre-orders are being fulfilled, we do our best to ship them as soon as possible so that the items reach our customer's as close to release date as possible.
With the release yesterday, it's likely we were unable to ship until then although it may have been prepared and ready for the release date. How to update the track number for my ipod ?

hello guys
i got an ipod photo
i already transfer lots of mp3s into the ipod
but some of the song arent list in the correct order
seems like i have to update the track number
can i do it automatically with itunes ?
maybe there is an option to do this with the 'music store' function ?
or do u guys have any other suggestion instead of manually update the track number?

Well you use iTUnes to organize your music on the PC and the iPOd. If these songs are in a playlist, you need to open that playlist in iTunes and organize it by the headers.

Song and Artist Info missing under itunes but not in the original file, and putting track number next to certian songs. Help

i recently updated my itunes...today i opened it up and moticed abuout 100 songs missing...they are now at the bottom of itunes song list with a number next to them with information mission such as this the example below
01 human                                                                 (this song should have the killers name as artist and cd title, etc)
01 hosanna     hillsong united                                 (this song should have the cd title to it)
02 lay me down                                          burning light
02 leave out all the rest
02 let it be                       the beatles
03 papercut
when i go under the original folders and files in the itunes folder everything is normal no missing info, etc. but under itunes orgnising its picking and choosing the same songs and putting the track number next to it and others songs in the same cd not. plus info missing. under the infor when i click right button all info missing there...but not under original file.

A response on this subject from another post:
It could be that you have inadvertently imported these CDs into iTunes as part of a compilation. If so, the artists won't show in the artists menu on the iPod.
To check, highlight the tracks on one of the offending artists CDs in iTunes, right click and select "get info". This brings up a multiple song info window, and from there you can check if you have 'yes' in the box marked "part of a compilation".
If you have, select 'no' instead and click 'ok'. Do this with any CD that has this issue. This will alter the info in iTunes, and you should then connect your iPod and synchronize the changes.
The problem arises because the information contained on the Gracenote CD Data Base (where iTunes gets all it's album/artist/track info from), is sometimes incorrect. It can show CDs as compilations when in fact they are not.

Artist info, track number, album title won't show up in iTunes

When I view the songs in explorer, I am able to see the info, but not in iTunes. When I am in iTunes and click on "get info" the ID3 tags are showing as v2.3 and only the track title is showing. When I "add folder to library" and the little progress window appears, it never shows "converting ID3..."
The same files opened in WMP all have complete info including track title, track number, album title.
The same folder is doing this on 2 different computers. We are talking about a huge amount of songs to have to update manually (total of 2.6G from this artist).
How can I get iTunes to show this info?
Troubleshooting info...I deleted a different album from iTunes, then re-added it to my library with no problems, so I am reluctant to blame the program. I'm thinking it is the files/folder. I kind of eliminated that with the attempt on the other computer.

How to solve the problem: ipod doesn't sort tracks by track number

After lots of attempts, I think I've found the solution that solves this problem (is it a BUG of the ipod software last update?).
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
===================
For some albums, ipod seams to be not able to sort songs by track number, no matter how you order the tracks through itunes.
This problem normally appears in albums that are NOT of the same artist (ex: soundtracks).
Once you upload on ipod (for ex.) your soundtrack, it can happen, when you browse the ipod in the following way:
(from the main menu): music -> albums -> <name of the album> -> <tracks list>
that the tracks list IN THE ipod appears NOT sorted by track number.
SOLUTION
========
This problem is due to a particular tag, "album artist": try to DELETE what is written in this tag for each song that doesn't appear in the correct order.
For those that are not aware about itunes:
1) open itunes when your ipod is connected to the pc
2) select a song ON THE IPOD that you notice is not in the right position
3) right click the mouse on it and the select "get info": a popup appears
4) select the "info" tag on this popup
5) delete what is written in the text area named "album artist"
6) click "ok"
TEST AND REMARK
================
Another suggestion, useful to test the result of this action through itunes.
It seams that ipod software makes a specific sequence of queries: when you select a specific album on your ipod, first it groups songs by album name (it seams a nonsense, because the songs that belong to the same album have, of course, the same album name), then by "album artist" and only at the end by track number.
So, if you delete the content of the tag "album artist", automatically ipod should sort all songs by track number.
Therefore, try to make this test: in itunes, in the ipod section, click on the colum "album" in order to sort your album by album name.
If the songs appear in the right order (that is, sorted by tracks), your should have solved the problem.
Hope that this will help the ones who have this problem.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I need help from you all. I need a single exit or badi which will trigger before saving any PO or PR while creating.
For PO, it should handle 3 possible cases.
1. Tcode : ME21

ITunes puts track number in name field?

I recently updated iTunes to 10.5 and a new issue has arisen. I loaded a new album into my library and I proceeded to apply track numbers to the songs. Usually I would click "Get Info" on the first song, enter the number in the track field, hit alt+n to go to the next song, type the next track number, etcetera. However when I hit alt+n to go to the next track, the name field gets highlighted instead of the track number field, so I have to click again on the track number field before I enter the number. This is quite a hindrance as before I could easily apply many track numbers within a short time, but this makes things so much more tedious. Is there a setting to fix this, or is this just a temporary bug that will be fixed later?

It's supposed to be able to cope with slightly different file & folder structures, missing track numbers, all tracks in just an artist folder, everything in Unknown Artist\Unknown Album etc. Details here. Can you give me an idea of how things are set out? Maybe it needs a little tweak to cope with the way you've done things, or we could use something like MediaMonkey to reorganize what you have into something the script can work with.
I'm going to be out for much of the day but I'll look in on this thread later.

Hi Suresh,
When you generate PR through MRP run then then the Requisitioner field gets updated with the used id and the MRP controller field with the infromation that is configured for that particular plant
You do the configuration for MRP controller using the following path
SPRO -> Production -> MRP ->Master Data -> Define MRP Controller
Here you assign the plant to a particular MRP controller
The tracking Number field is empty

I received a tracking number that is not working!

I didn't not pre-order my iPhone 4s 16gb until yesterday afternoon. I immediately got an order confirmation e-mail. Later in the afternoon, I received an email saying that my order had been shipped via USPS and they gave me a tracking number which did not work. I assumed it wasn't working because of the holiday and no mail service. I checked again this morning and it still doesn't work! My bank account has still not been charged for my order, and when I check my order status on Verizon it states that its processing my order and the expected ship date is 10/21/11. Why would I get an email stating that my phone was shipped when everything else clearly contradicts that statement?

Others have reported getting a USPS Tracking #. Did you order any accessories? This would be the most likely explanation. Also note that the USPS is painfully slow in updating its tracking, sometimes its never updages, and other times it updates after the package has arrived. It's by far the worst tracking system there is and though it's gotten better, it still needs lots of improvement. And if you haven't been charged, it's most like not the phone. There are thousands upon thousands of people who ordered the 16GB at 3AM (or a little before) on Friday, and they haven't gotten their e-mails yet.

Repaired Laptop tracking number wrong

I just received a e-mail from lenovo medion said that they have done the repair on my laptop and shipped back to me.
I was also given a dpd tracking number but it give me nothing but a old record of a pracel of other person several months ago.
I then called lenovo and they told me that i have to wait for 24 hours for dpd to update the data so i waited however after 24 hours nothing changed.

You should wait till end of day since the package may get picked up and then updated in system after a while.
UPS and FedEx are pretty good at updating online details and they also take around 8-10 hours, not sure about this service.
Have you made sure thatthe tracking number is correct as per the email you received? Maybe you should call the courier service and ask about your package?
Anyways, I would personally give it one more day before panicking about it.

Unable to edit the tracks number

Having updated iTunes 12.01 with Yosemite 10.10.2 I'm unable to edit the tracks number, as I used to do, select a song then get info and edit whatever I want, everything looks fine except the possibility to edit the track number. Any thought?

You can still edit the track number ... it just involves a scrolling action with the new iTunes.
Go to the song's "Get Info" as you used to do. Once you open the "Details" tab, scroll down to reveal the track number which you can edit.

Having problems organizing by Track Numb

So I want to play my songs in the order that they are on the CD. I tried ReOrganize! but that doesn't support the Zen Micro. I have firmware 2.20.05 (where it won't let me use Media Source anymore.) So I'm wondering if there is another piece of software that will allow me to play by track number. Does WMP 0 allow for organizing? Because it seemed very unuserfriendly.
If I look at the songs on my computer, they are organized by track number, but on my zen they aren't.
