SCM issue

Hi, I have laptop model GE60 2OE and Win 7 64bit on it.
I downloaded the SCM related to my laptop and OS from your website, I also installed .NET framework 4 as its recommended.
But, it only added tray icon called SCM to my tray, and only option that shows when I click on that icon is "Exit". No UI, I can't controll BT/webcam/wi-fi/... by it.
Additionaly it shows app called SCMII with white window in my ALT + Tab menu, however, when I click on it, nothing happens too.
It's not any corrupted instalation, windows update issue or something like that, I have reinstalled whole OS and this utility like 7 times in past 11 months, and the result was always the same. I have reinstalled my laptop yesterday, and it doesn't work again, so I'm here to ask for advice/solution.
Does anyone have any solution for me, how to make SCM working?
I have also heard of some app called S-Bar, but not exactly for my laptop model.

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to ascertain any issues with ERP processing that will not update orders created through CRM, i see there was a OSS Note some time back informing that the backorder reschedule program would not update orders created in the CRM system. Is this still the case and are there any other process that we should be marking as an issue?

    The solution depends on the exact issue you are facing.
    The CRM Sales Order is created OK, but you only see the error when you open the Sales Order?
    If this is the case, then you can follow the steps below:
    1. Find the Message ID and Message No for the error message
    2. Use Program - CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE to delete error messages from the error producing Sales Orders.

  • Getting struggle on BAPI_IPAK_START, Plz help SCM issue

    HI Folks,
    I have a requirement: Uploading .exl file contains Quaterly buckets (Example Quater 2007001) to info cube then same copy from info cube to live cache.
    after processing i am able to see the data in correct data in info cube in weekly (13 weeks data) and able to see live cache in Weekly and also able to see quaterly (multiply by 13).
    Requirement: In Live cache should be show the data as quaterly (exp: 13), in weekly data should show devide by 13 (13/13) value '1' same in all 13 weekly,
    issue:  when i take data in quaterly in .xls file as quaterly buckets (Example 2007001), after processing i am able to see the data in infocube as quarterly and live cache, but when i am checking WEEKLY in live cache it is not deviding by 13.
    it is showing in the first week the same data as quaterly and also the remaining 12 weeks showing empty.
    before this function module FM BAPI_IPAK_START  i am spliting the quaterly data by 13 and doing the same do 13 times.
    in my programe debugging  passing
    once process the FM FM BAPI_IPAK_START passing info package  i am able to see updated info cube data, here is the problem. if i get data as weekly here then the same should copy from cube to live cache.
    Could you please suggest on this. where can i see.

    How are you copying the data from infocube to Planning area?? Or are you using some other function module?
    Whats the time bucket profile you are using to copy?
    In the planning area design details check what you have set up as time disaggregation for the KF. If its P you should get a equal split.

  • Mega 865 Pro and Nlite - SCM Issues

    Hello, I have just got a Mega 865 Pro and have installed Windows XP on the system using nlite http://www.nliteos.com to strip windows down to the bare minimum, the boot times are great and it goes in to and out of hibernation is seconds, the problem is that I have stripped out one component that allows the System Control Manager to perform properly, my front LED display stays blank, even if I fire up the Intervideo Hometheatre it does nothing and all the front buttons do not respond. Everything else runs fine though
    Has anyone tried out nlite and does anyone know which component of windows I've removed that I should have left in?

    I'll try installing the new SCM program tonight, though the original ones that came on the disc didn't work (they did on a standard install of XP that I did)
    I'll post my findings later.

  • JDev 9.0.3 and SCM issue

    We're using the SCM for PL/SQL code and JDev to connect to SCM and edit the code. I have folders mapped in both the production workarea and my private workarea.
    Using RON (repository object navigator) I can properly version each file. However, using JDev, I cannot properly use the version control abilities.
    When I right click on the filename (after adding to my project) and select Source Control, the only available option is Add. Check-in should be available (it is in RON).
    When I click on Add, it complains that the file isn't in a subdirectory of k:\. The file is k:\plsql_code\cbs\filename.sql (which is a subdirectory of k:\ )
    Everything works as it should in our test environment.

    Hi David,
    There was a capitalization bug with folder mappings in the 9.0.3 release. You need to make sure that the drive letter in the workarea download folder setting is in upper case. You can work around this problem by right clicking on the workarea, using the "Folder Mappings" menu item from its context menu.
    In the Folder Mappings dialog, uncheck all the mappings, change the download folder path to e.g. "K:\", re-check all the folders, then click OK and carry out a "Download Latest Versions". After doing this, you should find that Add works properly.
    This bug has been fixed in a future release.

  • MSI GE60 SCM problem

    At first both the Disc ejection and screen off button were not working,so i tried to reinstall and update the SCM utility software.But after that,it's still the same thing but now each time whenever i tried using the Bluetooth,webcam  or any other devices.It pops up this message"Could not load type 'WPFOSD.CGetDeviceCOunt' from assembly 'WPFOSD.Version=1.0.0.0.Culture=neutral".I downloaded the latest update from MSI website which is ver.10.013.03016.Mine is running on Windows 8.Just bought it a few days back. Any ideas?

    hey! I own a GT60 dominator-242 and when I had troubles with most SCM's key functions, it was because the SCM service on System Configuration was turned off. After I turned it back on and restarted, most of the functions worked! except for the airplane mode on/off on the launchpad, but I could pretty much manage without it, besides I think it may be associated to other service, because before solving this SCM issue the cooler boost and keyboard backlit switch launchpad buttons worked alright. I know this is 2 years old... but it may be useful for someone.

    While correcting inconsistency in live cache  inconsistency is not getting corrected .
    Error is Bucket vector does not exist in Live cache for resource WR201_1000_008
    we are using Block planning in PPDS . I have checked SAPAPO/RST02 But resource is there in live cache it status is green

  • Upgrade SCM  4.1 - 7.0  issues

    Dear All,
    We have just Upgraded our Devolopment System from SCM 4.1 to 7.0....
    After that we have run " RS_BW_POST_MIGRATION" for activating the BI objects...
    After that we run the MPOS and Planning area Consistency Check...
    When i load the data in the pllanning book we are getting the below error...
    "Internal Error/sapapo/SCMB_PSTRU_TEMPL=>RAISE_EXCEPTION_FRO"
    "Error reading  data  - Planning book Can not processed further"
    Plz help us to resolve the same...

    This is a known issue that causes this message to display after installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 on a computer running either Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012. The workaround to resolve this issue is to click the Run the program without getting
    help option on the warning message and then proceed with the SCM 3.0 installation. SCM 3.0 will install on the computer without any impact from the warning message.

    SCM can export some of the baselines as SCAP v1.0 XML files (including CPE, OVAL and XCCDF).

    Can SCM export an OVAL file which includes the value of the external variables?

    Well, I went back into Best Buy to test on 3 other laptops (2 Asus, and their floor model for this Sony). It seems to be doing the same problem so at least I was able to rule out broken hardware issue on my particular laptop.
    Here's what I did to test:
    Since I couldn't really install Adobe Premiere on their machines, I used the DVIO software (http://www.carr-engineering.com/dvio.htm) and a 5 min clip I captured.  I transferred onto their machines, hooked up my Sony D8, and attempted to play the video.  It would play for 15 seconds and then stop and jitter with a loud noise (like it does on my laptop).  I even tried changing each machine's firewire driver to the legacy one and same results.  I pulled a brand new 4 pin to 4 pin firewire cable off their shelf and still the same problem.
    I think I've nailed it down to Win7x64 bit Home Edition not playing nice with Firewire driver.  Very annoying.  I can't find any concrete evidence of this from other users on any of the forums that have my particular problem, but from my own testing, it's all I can conclude.
    I have 2 other things I can try:
    1.  Opening the laptop and looking at the firewire to maybe find appropriate driver (ugh, I don't want to have to open this thing up).
    2.  Upgrading to Win7x64bit Pro and possibly testing with XP on the new MS Virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/).  I can't do it with my Home edition apparantly.
    Who needs to view video on an external TV anyways....sheeesh...(scarcasm).

  • SAP SCM Upgrade to 5.0, Material Master Initial Transfer Issue

    Dear Folks,
    We are doing an upgrade to SCM 5.0 for a client and are facing the issue of material master initial transfer. The changes to exising material like Proc type etc. travel seamlessly but while we try to create a new material in R/3 and transfer it to APO or if we delete an existing product in APO and re-transfer the material from R/3, it simply doesn't happen. We donot get any kind of errors also. We have tried various suggestions and solutions but all have failed. To summarize the activites that we have done to check the issue, please see the track below.

    1. Observed queue blocks on R/3 and APO sides:            No blocks.
    2. “Important” logs on R/3 as well as APO side:                No error logs on CIF observed.
    3. Check material master data fields in R/3 relevant and necessary for APO: Done
    4. Check the APOKZ flag in MARC Table:                        Done
    5. Check OSS relevant notes for the issue:                      Done
    6. Check CIFMAT and MATLOC tables in APO:                Done
    7. Check the TRFCQIN and TRFCQOUT tables in APO     Done; nothing relevant to CIF observed.
    8. Debug CIF and find the issue                                       No breakthrough.
    9. Check location and location pre-requisites for CIF         Done
    Now we have raised OSS notes to SAP and are awaiting a solution.
    I request all Gurus to pitch-in and suggest possible issue here and perhaps a solution too. I am very hopeful that some one might have faced similar issue and have found a solution to the same.

    This required packaging materials to be CIFed first before transferring the other materials. Issue resolved, SAP issues a note on this.

  • SCM Authrization Issue

    We are facing a serious
    authorization problem in our SCM system.
    We want to provide a bifurcation at
    the Production Planner "APO_PL_PPS"
    level.This is possible for
    authorization object "C_APO_PPL"
    (PP/DS, Production Planner),
    however "C_APO_PROD" (Master Data,
    Products) consists of only 3 fields.
    Since the Product Id's ("APO_PROD")
    do not follow any specific
    nomenclature in our landscape, we
    cannot provide any limitation here.
    The problem is that when Product Id is "*"; irrespective of other
    objects (eg. APO_PL_PPS); all the Product's can be viewed by all users.
    Is there some way in which we can allow users belonging to a particular
    Production Planner to view only their respective Product Id's..
    Please help, since it's real important that only users belonging to a
    particular Production Planner view their respective Product Id's.

    Before you change the standard program, I would suggest keeping the thread here for a while to see whether somebody who has encountered this in APO knows whethere the naming convention (nomenclature) is the intended design and whether or not an alternate solution (work-around for retro-fit) is possible / available.
    If you wish, I can move this thread to the "APO" forum to see whether the functional or development folks have solved this problem? Formally, forum "cross-posting" is not encouraged, but if you do, then please also cross-reference the threads...

  • SCM Upgrade 4x to 7 Macros have issues not functioning as expected

    We have upgraded SCM 4x to 7 and some of macros are not functioning as expected.
    This is a start macro Specifically for lay out attributes macro where many of the key figures are editable, which are not suppose to be.
    I have deactivated and activated, I have also verified the syntax of the production and quality macros. I did not find any difference. but behaving differently.
    Please share your thoughts any one come across this kind of issues.

    When you upgraded from 4.1 to 7.X, did you have to go throuh any interim steps like to 5.0 or 5.1 first.
    My understanding is that you can go from 4.1 directly to 7.0.
    Can you share your experience. Do you have any lessons learned that you put into a document that you would share.

  • Issue with /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70 in SCM 7.0 prepare

    Hi,
    We are running an SCM upgrade from 5.1-> 7.0
    We upgraded our dev system fine. We are now in QA and running the prepare at phase PREP_CNVCHECKS/REQ_APOUPG0. 
    Option # 3 of section A of  /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70 runs job name SYNC_LC_DB_DP, program /SAPAPO/OM_SYNC_LC_DB.  Most planning versions run ok, but for ZDP01, this one has been running for over 30,000 seconds and it looks like it is not doing anything in liveCache or the SCM database.
    Is there some way to determine what is going on with this job? We'd like to move on with the prepare...
