SCM9.0: Direct connect vendor does not show up in eProcurement Create Req

Hi all,
FSCM 9.0 bunlde 21/Tools 8.49.27
I set up a direct connect vendor using Roundtrip but I always have the message "No direct connect vendors available." in the Web Tab of the eProcurement>Create Requistion.
Has anyone ever had this error?

The reason the vendor does not show up is because I did not setup the vendor catalog security in eProc.
Menu eProcurement > Maintain catalogs > Catalog Security Types

Vendor does not show in Display Vendor list

Hello SRM Experts,
I have a problem where I can see the Vendor in BP but I am not able to find this Vendor on the display vendor list on the web.
In BP, I can see that "Display in BP role" for this Vendor is "Business Partner (Gen.)" and not "Vendor".
Could this be the reason that it does not show up?
Also we dont have this vendor in VENMAP table but it is in BUT000.
Please advise.

My apologies for not being clear.
I meant in EBP, while creating a shopping cart, we select the Vendor. While selecting we have the F4 option.
I do not see the mentioned Vendor in this list, but I can see this in BP transaction. This Vendor also exists in ECC.
Per my investigation, I cannot this Vendor in VENMAP but is there in BUT000. Also as mentioned previously, the type is different for this Vendor.
Please advise.

Deployed par file does not show as an iview create option

Hello Experts,
I modified the com.sap.portal.runtime.masthead par app and deployed it to the portal as myCustomMasthead.
I see the par file in under the Support Workset in the portal, but when I'm in content admin and try to create an iview from the deployed par file template, the option for the deployed par does not show? Do I need to request basis to bounce the J2ee engine? What might be wrong?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes the file exists under ROOT/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps.
And I am not using iview from template option, I am using iview from par file option.
I did not deploy the par file from NWDS, I created the par file in NWDS and then manually deployed the par file using the par uploader tool in the portal.
Do I need to do anything in the portalapp.xml file? This is what my portalapp.xml file looks like:

HT1386 My Iphone has stopped importing new photos to my computer when I connect and does not show a photos option under the device when in itunes. I don't have any access to the photos except directly through the phone.

It seems after my latest upgrade that my phone has stopped importing new photos and vids when I link up to my computer. It always would ask me if I wanted to tag new photos and then would import to computer. Now it does not and when I am in Itunes the options under my device does not include photos so i can't even import them manually. Any ideas on what is up?

iTunes doesn't import photos from your device, in only syncs photos from your computer to your device.
You may need to adjust your autoplay settings as outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1500 (except to enable digital camera notification, not disable it) in order to restore automatic prompts to import photos.

S_ALR_87012089-Display changes to Vendor:does not show details of change

Hi Experts,
S_ALR_87012089 report displays the changes to vendor master. However in ECC 6.0, the same report is not displaying the details of the change ('old' and 'new' ) value, wheras it was in 4.6 C. Now in ECC 6.0 it just says whether 'Created' /'Deleted'...but no details.
Did some one face this kind of problem? I searched for SAP notes not with much success.

Report S_ALR_87012089.
Go to the report.give vendor account no
In further selections
Select General data,All vendors,Company code data,company code data,company code,purchasing organization,purchasing organization,check boxs,
Execute the report.
You will see the all the changes made in vendor master by date,time,vendor,changed by,field name,old value,new value.
If you need more fields, select the screen layout and select additional fields for your report.

You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
The ipod is not a backup device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases

i have a really strange problem , i have a string field in access database that contains the date and time value,this field for some strange reason does not show in my table created through html,
i tried all combination(arranging the fields) ,renaming it w/o help, it shows the value using out.println(but then why is it not showing me in the table???)

Creating a custom role does not show up whe creating a user

On portal 10.1.4 I have followed the directions in 10.1.4 Oracle Server Portal Configuration Guide.section 6.1.6.9.1 Example: Defining a User Administrator Role.
However, the newly created role does not show up when I create a new user.

How to install software that does not show in add\remove?

I have a agent that i need to install on all our computers but the program does not show in add\remove when installed correctly.
It does however have a service that runs and some processes that run.
Can someone tell me what the best way of installing this is?
Should I create a collection based of the Service\Process or even based of the file sitting in C:\Program Files.
I wanted to create a collection of computers that had the software already then create another collection that had all computers with it missing and create a advertisement from this..
I am just not sure how to do this one when it does not show in add\remove

Please create the new SCCM query based collection for computers which have required software installed. We can create this collection based on service.

Apple TV won't connect to iTunes and does not show up in my devices list in iTunes.

My older model Apple TV won't connect to iTunes and does not show up in my devices list in iTunes. I have two Apple TVs in my house and I can't imagine that this is part of the problem but I mention it just in case. My other Apple TV is brand new and it connects to iTunes just fine. I've tried most of the "fixes" and one says to Force Sync but I can't since Apple TV isn't in my device list. Another "Fix" said to Navigate the Apple TV to Settings --> Downloads --> Check for Downloads, but when I tried that there was no option for "Downloads" under the Settings Heading. I'm at a loss. Please help. Could this be an issue with too many authorized devices? We have three iPads, two iPhones, laptop, desktop, two Apple TVs, and an iPod and most of them are syncing the same music playlists and whatnot... have I run out of rope?

hi, just posting to everyone in general..its not you, or your apple tv, it is itunes.
ok, ive had the exact same issues for weeks now, as with everyone i had done the lastest upgrade and no longer could see/sync my gen 1 appleTV.........so, i removed the upgrade and went back to the prev version, even though it was showing in my prefs under appleTV, it still wouldnt show in the side panel under devices....i gave up.
This week i was determined to get it to work! So i started from scratch, totally removed itunes and started back with version 9 and upgrade each version from there, i had no luck, ic clicked find appleTvs but it wouldnt....however i just d/l version 9.2.0.61 and BINGO!. No sooner has it opened and up popped the side panel devices list, showing my appleTV..all ready to be synced etc. I immediately panicked of course haha..and set it all up and its working perfectly.
...Only catch now is that this older version will not be compatiable with my iphone, which i do keep music on...seems we cant win. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr this will be the same for all the latest apple products.
Apple needs to allow more than one version of itunes per pc OR perhaps they could get their act together and include all of the millions of APPLETV GEN1 owners in there latest upgrading..after all, THEY made the product and THEY do sell the movies/tv shows, perhaps they could stop making all the upgrade all about the music only!......on which i might add why not incluse movies/tv shows in icloud! yet another upgrade that should be included in the APPLETV GERNERATION 1!..yes we do still exist!
at the very least, im happy ive managed to get all my movies etc onto the apple tv, where ill keep them and from now on d/l directly onto my apple tv. I usually d/l to my laptop and then send them to the appletv but while trying to get all this sorted i did a test, i d/l a movie using my appletv hoping it would somehow let itunes "find" it and getting it to show up in my device list, but it didnt work, however it did sync/send the movie to itunes.. so at least i could save a back up copy.

I am trying to project Pro Presenter on the Epson projector such that I have the detail screen on the macbook and only the screen I want people to see on the projector display. This has not been possible because the arrangement tab on the Display section of the System Preference is not showing. If i tried to search for the arangement, it comes back with the message that there is not other source detected, hence the arrangement tab is not showing.
I have also tried to connect the Epson directly to the Macbook but it still the same result, so its not because it is a wireless connection. Can someone advise me jhow to go around this problem. I have used windows before and it is very easy to extend ptojection on windows, but this system seems to be frustrating to me.

Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. In the manual it says "log in to your computer user account before connecting iPad". I am the only user of this PC...does this mean some other user account. I am confused. If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.
If it doesn't appear on the left side, follow the troubleshooting steps shown in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538.
