The only error I get in the log file is this.
Error: :Error:IsReportingValidToInstall failed SRS instance not provided
I don't understand why I would be getting an SRS error, our reports run fine.
Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,
Did you end up finding a solution to this issue? The GUI and silent/command line installer are failing for me in the same spot.

  • Itunes has stopped working when adding to playlist

I get the Itunes has stopped working message when adding new files to a playlist, has anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution?

    Still having issues :/

  • ITunes has stopped working when adding movies

This issue began today, haven't had any trouble with this before. I have my movies on my iTunes, in there perfectly fine. Today I went to add more movies to my iTunes library. I use Windows, so I went to the 'Add Files to Library...' option in the top left, added a video. It didn't take any loading time, which seemed a bit out of the ordinary, then I tried to play it and my iTunes completely crashed. When I open my iTunes back up, the movie is gone completely. I have tried restarting my iTunes, restarting my computer, reinstalling iTunes, adding movies in different ways (dragging and dropping), but nothing has worked so far.
I'm fairly sure this isn't a format issue, as it's stopped working for .m4v files and .mp4 files, I've tried converting one to the other and nothing has for it to load properly into iTunes.

    Still having issues :/

  • Extending System Center Operations Manager Classes & Discovery SCOM 2007 R2

I want to add some additional attributes to SCOM that are populated from information in another database.....for example.
I have a CMDB that contains information about the support level for each server (i.e. gold, silver, bronze), i want to be able to display this information in the SCOM console.  This needs to cover both Windows and Unix/linux servers.
I have played around with creating a custom MP and have created a new class, and custom script discovery using a vbscript to query the CMDB SQL database containing the info that i want....I have got to the point where i can see the new column in SCOM console
but cannot get it to populate with any data.
    any help would be appreciated.
    thanks

  • Planning System Center Operation Manager 2012 R2 on SQL 2012 Active/Passive Cluster

    Dears,
I'm planning to deploy System Center Operation Manager 2012 R2 on SQL 2012 Active/Passive Cluster which have other sql instances running for other applications. And i'm planning to create a new instance for SCOM, kindly provide me recommendation
whether i can install all sql databases for SCOM on same sql instance or does it require separate instances for opsmanger database , dw database and ACS database?
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi,
Yes, all SCOM SQL databases can run on the same instance of SQL server.
As well, look at some helpful posts for the topic:

  • Upgrade System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 CU6 -- 2012 RTM issues (Assembly related exception in log)

    Hi guys
I am currently performing a distributed, complex upgrade with a customer:
4 management servers (1 being RMS), both databases (OM & DW) on a single SQL Server (2008 R2 SP2)
We moved over the RMS role to another server and decomissioned the old one due to it being a 2003 server.
Then we upgraded all non-RMS management servers.
We had some issues with them as well (same error in the log), but when we reinstalled the 2007 R2 binaries & patches and redid the upgrade it came through fine.
The RMS however keeps throwing the same error. Things I tried:
    - Full clean of the server including momclean and msizap, then reinstall the RMS and retry the upgrade
    - Reregister of the msiexec server
I am suspecting some issues with assemblies and / or GAC, but no clear proof on that, only that it crashes after performing assembly operations.
Below an extract from the RemoveMOMServer.log (the error occurs when uninstalling SCOM 2007 R2)
Can anyone help out or give me some pointers on possible causes?
    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Is there anyone who is monitoring their IronPort C-series with System Center Operations Manager 2007?
If so, is there anything I should look out for implementing it?

    Hi
If scom supports SNMP, then we can monitor Ironport devices. We can monitor Ironport via Solarwinds and Hp openview.

  • Catalyst install manager has stopped working

Hi,after getting Blue Screen my VGA driver for AMD has deleted by itself. And now i can't install it back because of error that comes out when i try to install it.Doesn't matter which driver, from HP web-page or officiall AMD page.I tried to uninstall the rest of AMD and install it again but it just errors errors and errors.I m including some screenshots that can be useful. The first one is the error,in english it s "Catalyst install manager has stopped working".The second one is Device menager,it says that Intel driver is installed but AMD isnt, and system works with Microsoft standart driver. The third one is the bluescreen detail information.Windows reinstallation didn't help :/ Could it be hardware issue? Thanks in advance.

Hey  , Here is a document that shows you how to launch the Recover manager that might help. Turn on the power and press F11 to run recovery without starting Windows. It gives you the option to reinstall software or to recover the Notebook to factory settings. I think it is software related not hardware. Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices HDMI Cables, as these could cause some issues. Please let me know how this goes. Thanks.

  • Catalyst Control Center: Host applicaton has stopped working

    I keep getting the error:
Catalyst Control Center: Host applicaton has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
The only button on this window is "Close program"
This error started on 01/04/15 (via the event viewer).
The video driver for my AMD Radeon HD 7520G from AMD is dated 9/15/2014 with a version of 14.301.1001.0.  If I go to the HP support site, the driver is shows is dated 11/11/2013 with a version of 13.152.1.1000.

    Hi @cjssas
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are getting an application error from your Catalyst Control center. I am happy to assist with this.
The first thing I would recommend trying is a system restore to a point before the problem began. It is possible that some other software installed or driver, or system update, may be the cause. So take a look at this:
Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8)
If that does not work, then I would download the driver again, uninstall the existing driver, restart the computer and then install the driver once more and see if the problem recurs.
Incidentally the support website shows the latest hp customized version of all the drivers for that notebook. Hp customizes them to be compatible with the other hardware in the notebook. It is always possible to use a different driver, but there are no guarantees it will work.
    I hope this helps.

  • Adobe CEP Service Manager has stopped working

I had repeated problems installing Creative Cloud for the desktop, after it asked me to upgrade.
After renaming OOBE and using the cleaning tool several times, i got Creative Cloud to finally install.
But when I tried to run it, I get "Adobe CEP Service Manager has stopped working".
So I'm still dead in the water. This is just the latest of a string of problems I've had in installing
Creative Cloud for the desktop on my several PCs.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Ken,
Does right click run and Administrator when launching the Creative Cloud for desktop make any difference?

    Hi,
when trying to run the HP Recovery Manager on a HP Pavilion DV6-3180ea notebook, the error "Recover Manager has stopped working" occurs.
Any ideas? Should I try reinstalling Recovery Manager?

Restart the PC and start continuously tapping F11 when you see the HP logo, this will start Recovery manager from the bios, see if it works using this method.

  • Blackberry Link Peer Manager Has Stopped Working

    Hello,
Sorry if this message has already been posted before, but I have downloaded the latest version of Blackberry Link (previous version worked fine) but just as the download is completed I receive a message telling me that Blackberry Link Peer Manager has stopped working and the programme basically cannot be used.
I use Windows Vista and have no such problems before.
Could you please let me know if this has happened before and what solutions there might be.
    Thanks Glen.

Hi Waterbuoy - I am still having the same problem and have done everything you have done as well. I have removed the programme, run CCleaner but the same problem every time. Just as the download is about to finish the peer manager stops working and the programme download closes. Makes it very difficult to back up (impossible) the phone and sync with MS Outlook.
BlackBerry please fix this as I know we are not the only ones with this problem.
