SCOM R2 - Reporting installation went ok but no reports available.

Hi all,
I've got a fresh installation of SCOM R2. I've got a RMS with the Reporting role installed on it. It's a windows 2008 SP2 box, RS version is 2008 + SP1.
I've also got a SQL 2008 + SP1 box for the live and reporting DBs. Also on Windows 2008 SP2. 64bits everywhere.
I haven't imported any MP yet.
In the reporting pane I don't see any reports, even the ODR or out of box reports...
I immediatly received events 2115 in my Opsmgr event log on the RMS coupled with some 8000 events from Data Publisher Manager, must be new events from R2 ?
Looks like i'm unable to store data in my DW.
Events 2115 only concern the workflow Microsoft.SystemCenter.DataWarehouse.CollectEntityHealthStateChange.
Event 8000 concern the same workflow + the CollectPerformanceData one.
I also have sometimes event 11411 about alert subscription data source module taking long time.
So I decided to import the Windows OS MP to chekc for any performance issue. And it looks like on my SQL box the Total Percentage Interrupt Time is between 15 and 25%. SCOM threshold is 10%.
Is that normal for a sql box ?

So Server1 = RMS and RS and Server 2 = DB \ DW ?? I personally would put the SQL RS locally on the DB \ DW box (server 2). With SQL 2008 you no longer need IIS installed for Reporting Services. Is there any particular reason for having SQL RS on the RMS?
Troubleshooting:
In the OpsMgr console, if you go to administration, settings, reporting, do you see http://server:80/reportserver ?
In Internet Explorer, if you go to http://server1/reports .. do you see the reporting services homepage? If so, do you also see any reports?
If you do, then there is a "button" on the right hand side of the screen that says show details. Click on it and you should see a list of items .. one of which will be the Data Warehouse Main data source. Click on the edit icon to the the left of Data Warehouse Main and review the connection string. Is it pointing at server2 ?

Error while installing SCOM 2012 reporting component.

Hello Experts,
I had to recently tired installing SCOM 2012 reporting server role on one of the SSRS instances and got the below error.
The SQL team created a dedicated SSRS instance for SCOM(SSRS_SCOM2012) on a SQL instance which hostes other SSRS instances for other applications like SCCM 2007, FEP2010 and FIM2010. I understand the SSRS is are individual components and should not have
dependency with other SSRS instance on the same SQL instance.
A few weeks back i successfully installed the reporting service on another SSRS isntance on a SQL isntance which hosts no other SSRS instances on it for creating a dev SCOM for our enviornment.
The SSRS configuration has been done correctly with service accounts, execution account, database created etc configured for production.
No SSL nor any proxy set for the SQL Report server.
One option i am left with now is running resetSRS.exe to reset the SSRS. But before doing this i would like to take advice from you all as i need to run this on production which hosts other prod SSRS instance on the same SQL instance as well :(

Q1:Is the SQL version same as of what you are using for the Database engine services as well ?
A1: Yes, its SQL 2008 R2.
Q2: Are the SQL URL's Working as expected ?
A2: Yes, both the Report URL and Report Manager URL are working even though there is no content in it as
SCOM Reporting component is yet to be installed successfully.
Q3: Is
the Scale of deployment joined ?
A3 : No, its Native.
Q4 : Also you can Run resetSRS.exe
So it will just reset the Reporting and will not affect any other component.
A4 : For say my SQL cluster name is ABC which is on a
4 node cluster and we have created SSRS(SSRS_SCOM2012) on one of the node(Server1) of that 4 node cluster. SCOM installer discovers SSRS instance name as Server1\SSRS_SCOM2012. so do it have the run the command as "resetsrs.exe Server1\SSRS_SCOM2012"
or "resetsrs.exe ABC"?

New installation oADE opens but closes with error when I click any item, not prompting to authorize

Installation went as expected, but when I launch the program, any click on its item, causes the program to close with and error and want to report to MS.

Try uninstalling and installing v1.7.2. This works more reliably in various ways. Several people have reported issues with V2.0 on XP.
Version 1.7.2 is a little difficult to find,
available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

ITunes/Quicktime installation went off quite smoothly//All works fine

A few days back I had posted a query wanting to know if iTunes v9 works fine on Win XP SP2 or not. 1 guy said that it may or may not work. But guess what, everything went perfect and smooth, which was totally unexpected. I was on iTunes v6.0.2.23 and was apprehensive about upgrading directly to v9. I tried upgrading to v8 long time back but that failed miserably. But v9 installation went smooth, heres how :
I had Quicktime in my PC and I figured out that it was corrupted. Quicktime wont open (eventhough iTunes v6 did). So I thought of fixing the existing version of Quicktime first. I had Quicktime version 7.0.4 installed in my computer. Somehow it never showed up in Add/Remove programs so I wasnt able to remove it. So I went to www.oldversion.com and downloaded the old version (i.e. 7.0.4) of Quicktime. This installer file first allowed me to uninstall the corrupted version and then let me install the good version of 7.0.4 Quicktime.
After this, I found that Quicktime now worked perfectly on my computer. So I went ahead and downloaded the latest version of iTunes + Quicktime and installed it. And guess what, my 5 yr old Windows XP [ Pentium 4 - 384 MB of Ram] now runs iTunes v9.0.0.70 and Quicktime v7.6.4.
My Review :
Quicktime :
Though the player looks sleek, it is still incompatible in playing most video file formats. It does not recognize a simple 'wmv' file, does not play 'avi' file, though it suggested me to download some codecs to play 'avi' files. But why would I do that anyways..? I have VLC which plays almost everything. All audio files work good in Quicktime and MPEG-4 video playbacks are awesome.

iTunes :
Wow, this latest version of iTunes is a complete boon. There is so much to do with this new version. I am totally amazed with its added Grid view and CoverFlow view. iTunes DJ is another added advantage. Who needs a professional DJ when you have iTunes with you ? iTunes v9 was quick enough to retrieve the entire Library and my playlists from v6 and within minutes I was back to my music and videos with an all look on my new iTunes. Both audio files and video files work perfectly fine in this new version, just like it did with my old version. All good things bring some bad things with them too. This new version is too much bothered about Album Artworks and asks me to update them which is irritating. And the Genius function does not work for me since I am in India and India does not have an online iTunes store yet.

Download went smoothly, but install is hung up on quitting open applications. Won't allow this to happen. What can I do? I can't quit the Mt Lion install to shut down and start again. I'm stuck.

Earlier, I downloaded Mt. Lion (currently using Snow Leopard). Download went fine but to Install, something seems to have hung up with quitting open applications. Keeps telling me to do that, but each time I hit the blue button to quit open applications, won't do that. I've tried quitting anything open in the dock, still says I need to quit open applications. Tried quitting Install for Mt. Lion so I could restart and try again. Can't do that either. What to do now? Any help appreciated.

CMD+OPT+esc should bring up the Force Quit Application. Select the Install ML app, and click Force Quit. That should do the trick. Then, save yourself some grief and copy it to a safe place because the ill-designed installer deletes itself during the installation process, necessitating wasting resources DLing it again if you need to reinstall or recover it.

I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides.

On pressing retry I got the same message.
On pressing Ignore, I got the message “ITunes was not installed correctly, please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)
I reinstalled with the same error messages and the same results.
I uninstalled existing and reinstalled from scratch and the same error messages again.
I try to repair and at the end it said it had installed correctly – but when it tried to start I got the message “This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem” I now get the same message when I first start the computer but when I press ok I receive ““ITunes was not installed correctly; please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)” again.
It appears the update has not only corrupted the operating system (Xp Pro SP3) of my computer but I have no backups to my IPhone, my wife’s IPhone or the three others phones that use my computer.
I hope you can advise me how to recover my backups

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component won't install normally.
If needs be, the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility (MS Installer "Fixit") may be able to help force through the installation.

3.1.2 installation went horribly wrong. 3 times in a row actually. and the side effect is apex objects installed all over the place. during the accident apexins installed itself to schemas FLOWS_FILES and partially SYS. can anyone confirm WWV_ objects that should be on FLOWS_FILES and SYS schemas? is there a selective uninstall script that undoes changes?
current problems:

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing power issues with your iPhone 5. To completely isolate the issue, you may want to follow these steps:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
1. Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
2. Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion.
Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
3. Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
4. After at least 15 minutes, if:
               - The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
               - The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
               - Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
5. If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
               - If the display turns on, go to step 4.
               - If the display remains black, go to next step.
6. Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
7. If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

Are the photos you want to send back to your mac on your iPad, iPod, iPhone saved to the camera roll? If you have photos in other albums (not camera roll) share them to the camera roll.
Then connect your device via USB and lauch iPhoto. You will see your device as a camera in iPhoto. Import those photos like you would import from a camera.
