Scons failing to locate PATH
hi all. i'm having problems trying to compile SKIM 1.4.2, but scons is giving me errors relating to the PATH. at first it complained about not finding PYTHON despite python being in /usr/bin
so i export PYTHON=/usr/bin/python
now i get
[bryce@banana skim-1.4.2]$ ./configure
Checking for Python : /usr/bin/python
Checking for SCons : Use Bundled scons.
Checking for kde-config : kde-config was NOT found in your PATH
Make sure kde is installed properly
(missing package kdebase-devel?)
kde-config IS in /opt/kde/bin
and
/opt/kde/bin IS in my path
can anyone help me on this one?
bryce
I don't remember correctly, but i think you should just type 'scons' or './scons' , and not ./configure in that folder

Oracle Reports gives : "Failed to locate the Browser" Error. Please help.
Hello All,
I am new to Oracle Reports Developer. I followed the "Oracle Reports Tutorials" (Document ID : B14364-01) to build my first report.
I tried to run the report in web layout mode : I got the following things.
1) A new blank firefox window.
2) After a few seconds : A message window in Report Builder with : "Failed to Locate the Browser" Message
My Machine details :
Windows XP sp3.
Oracle Developer Suite 10g.
Firefox version : 3.5.
Registry Entries : HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software|Oracle|Toolkit|TKBrowser. No BrowserName, BrowserPath keys found. So I added these keys manually under the paths :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software|Oracle|Toolkit|TKBrowser|BrowserName (value = firefox)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software|Oracle|Toolkit|TKBrowser|BrowserPath (value=C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe)
Ran the report again. This time also I encountered the same scenarios which I mentioned previously. Also tried with registry setting
HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software|Oracle|Toolkit|TKBrowser with value "BrowserName=firefox;BrowserPath=C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe".
I also ran with the all the settings once without restarting the computer after making the changes. And also ran each time by restarting the computer whenever I changed the value. I could not get a break thourgh.
Please help me in resolving this issue. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Suresh. Thanks for replying. I tried the same thing with Netscape 9 now. It is still displaying a blank web page and after a few seconds the same message in Reports Developer : " Failed to locate the Browser".
Is there any specific setting that I need to customize in order to run the reports? My Forms are being executed without any issues. Where as I have problem with Reports Developer.
Thanks in advance,
Suresh. -
ASA 5505 Split tunneling stopped working when upgraded from 8.3(1) to 8.4(3).
When a user was connecting to the old 8.3(1) appliance they could access all of our subnets: 10.60.0.0/16, 10.89.0.0/16, 10.33.0.0/16, 10.1.0.0/16
but now they cannot and in the logs I can just see
6 Oct 31 2012 08:17:59 110003 10.60.30.111 1 10.89.30.41 0 Routing failed to locate next hop for ICMP from outside:10.60.30.111/1 to inside:10.89.30.41/0
any hints? i have tried almost everything. the running configuration is:

asdm history enableDear Darko,
The problem here is the overlapp issue with the Internal network.
Since the VPN pool is:
ip local pool OAKPRD_pool 10.60.30.110-10.60.30.150 mask 255.255.0.0
And the local network is:
interface Vlan1
nameif inside
security-level 100
ip address 10.60.70.1 255.255.0.0
So since you have some NAT rules telling the FW that 10.60.0.0/16 is connected to the inside, we need to change that and force it to know that 10.60.30.0/24 is actually reachable to the outside.
On the other hand, yes you could point to outside interface, but is not a good practice.
Thanks.
Portu.

The error "Failed to locate a facet to be relocated..."
I am developing an application using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.
My jsff file has no nested pageTemplate but still I get the error "Failed to locate a facet to be relocated. The component must have been removed from the component tree when it should not have been. Expected to find the component under component with client ID "pt1:USma:0:MAt2:0:pt1:AP1:AT1" with relative search path "_ATp:ATt1".

at oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.taglib.region.IncludeTag.doStartTag(IncludeTag.java:199)
at oracle.jsp.runtime.tree.OracleJspBodyTagNode.executeHandler(OracleJspBodyTagNode.java:50)
In general, my applicationPanel is built in a pageTemplate. Inside the applicationPanel, I have an applicationTable comonent with id AT1. Inside its "table" facet, I have a table component with id "ATt1". The jeff file is called to open an object view in a dynamic tab in the local area. A different object will open a different tab. First time to open an object, I won't get the error. But if I switch the view between two tabs, I will get the error.
The most interesting thing is that if I remove "binding" property inside of "ATt1" table, the error will be gone. But I have to use "binding" property for other uses.
Please let me know if you have any idea on how to resolve this.
Thanks,
Weihong
Edited by: user731346 on Aug 31, 2012 3:26 PMHi,
if it is the JSF component binding then what scope is the managed bean in ? If you open the same JSf in different tabs and the binding points to request scope (or a shared scope) then the problem is that you use the same component reference twice. Use backing bean scope for the component binding bean in this case

ASA 5505 initial build - Failed to locate egress interface (Please help :-) )
Hi, I have just purchased a ASA 5505 and have completed the initial setup via the wizard. I am currently unable to access services on the outside of the ASA.
The error: 'Failed to locate egress interface for UDP from inside'.... appears when ever my DNS server attempts a lookup.
I have configured this several times from scratch using the wizard and I am unable to figure out the issue with the NAT / Routing config.
If I run the packet tracer I get the error: "(no-route) no route to host", however I do have a default route configured so I suspect it maybe my NAT configuration.
Overview, 192.168.10.0/24 inside the ASA, 192.168.1.0/24 outside the ASA, 192.168.1.1 is the gateway to the internet. I ideally want the ASA to use PAT to mask the 192.168.10.0/24 network behind the ASAs 192.168.1.0/24 network address but still allow clients to gain internet access.
Full config follows, screen shots attached, any help would be very gratefully received.
Result of the command: "sh run"

: endJust to want to be sure, can you post output from show int ip brie and show route? And try to remove your ACL for testing purpose or at least don't applied it anywhere yet.
Once done, try do another packet-tracer to 8.8.8.8 using icmp packet instead of UDP paste the whole the output here. Before doing this, add icmp any any outside command on the ASA.
I know this should have anything to do with your issue, because if ACL is the issue then you will see output being denied by ACL on the packet tracer output. Let us know the results. -
How to change file location path at run time in OWB 10g
Hello all,
We want to load several files with the same name but from different folders into a single table.
The information about the paths is stored in an oracle table.
Is there any best practice to achieve this?
Our approach is to loop on the number of sources and execute the mapping after changing the location path. We found how to make the loop, and have the apropriate OMB command to update the location path, but we are still looking for a way to call this OMB plus command in a process flow or a mapping. Any idea?
We also succeeded in loading the file from an unregistered location, which is necessary to be able to update the path, but I'm not sure this is really the best approach. Any advise?
Thanks in advance for your help!
best regards
Cedric.Hi,
I can provide you with an idea on this, dont know if it will work or not.
Suppose, you need to load 5 files in different folder locations into a single table. Call the mapping 5 times in a process flow. If you log in to the database, and go the table all_directories in your target schema, you will find an entry for the actual path of the file you are trying to laod. I think if this path is updated before each run of the mapping, you can load all files into the target table. Only thing you have to do is call a procedure which will update this record in all_directories table with the different locations each time you want and then plug in this procedure before each call to the mapping in a process flow and see if it works or not?

Removing file location path when converting to PDF?
Is there a setting somewhere that I can alter so that when I convert a TXT or HTML file to PDF the location path doesn't show on the bottom of each PDF page? Currently when converting I get something along these lines of file:///F|/Folder/254126.txt[06-Aug-11 20:34:02] on the bottom in a smaller font than the rest of the page.
Is there a way to disable this or is it just something I have to live with?
I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro.Settings for converting text and HTML pages aren't in the preferences panel, they're buried in the web capture widget:
Open the Tools Pane > Pages > More Insert Options > Create PDF from Web Page.
Click "Settings"
Uncheck "Place headers....", click OK then Cancel to close the capture dialog. -

Error in Web Location path when importing Site Studio Backup Archives
Hi,
Webcenter Content version 11.1.1.5.0 running on Linux.
I have successfully (according to the archive logs) imported two Site Studio Backup Archives: Ravenna Hosting and Site Studio Samples.
I've not had a problem before with these archive files (installed successfully on my local Windows installation of 11g), but on our DEV server the Web Location path is incorrect.
Somehow the archive process has introduced the below directory structure:
/mdaw/mdax/~edisp/
Example expected location: .../groups/public/documents/wcmwebasset/oracle_logo_15h.png
Imported location: .../groups/public/weblayout/groups/public/documents/wcmwebasset/mdaw/mdax/~edisp/oracle_logo_15h.png
- The sites are visible but with broken images
- The Site Studio Assets can be seen in Site Studio Designer
- The Web Location path on all content items is incorrect and points to the wrong path
- Archive has proven to work before (same physical file) and the path information within it appears correct
Copying the files results in the images appearing but obviously the Web Location defined within the content items is still incorrect.
Whilst Ravenna Hosting site looks OK after copying the files, the Site Studio Sample site is totally broken.
Obviously the underlying import issue needs to be resolved - has anyone come across the underlying issue (the insertion of an incorrect directory structure)?
Has anyone any advice on a solution so I can re-import the archive with the files being written to the correct Web Locations?
Thanks in advance
Edited by: user615721 on Aug 25, 2011 12:26 PMThe issue is the result of a new feature introduced in version 11.1.1.4.0 called the 'Dispersion Rule'.
All legacy archive will hit this in the future release, but there is a work-around documented here: http://blogs.oracle.com/ecmarch/entry/working_with_the_new_fsp_dispe

Where is the location(path) of the videos that the 3GS recorded?
Where is the location(path) of the videos that the 3GS recorded? Thanks. Kevin
that's a private folder, so there's no method to access it. The only documented way to get videos from the camera roll is by using image picker (in 3.0 atleast)

Any advice greatly appreciated.
Kind regards GlineI couldn't locate any download site for this plugin for Mac's Safari nor can I find anything on the web except http://www.fastbrowsersearch.com/ which just loads a page to enter a search term—no plugin.
The FastBrowserSearch Toolbar is usually bundled with other plugins. So you can get it by (for example) installing My Web Tattoo.
There's more info on the products it can be bundled with on the page you get to when you click the "Uninstall" link at the bottom of the http://www.fastbrowsersearch.com/ page. That's where you can also find the Safari FastBrowserSearch uninstallation instructions that Bee linked the OP to.

TVSU 3.x fails to locate updates from new TVUR 3.0 repository
Hi,
Up until the recent upheaval when I had a working TVSU/TVUR system for -14 Thinkpad types- I have a new TVUR 3.x in place with downloads for a T42-2374.
I have a new clean install of XP on the T42 and the latest TVSU fails to locate any update packages from the new TVUR repository. On the client side I have resorted to TVSU updates from Lenovo which seems to be running perfectly well.
Can anyone confirm whether the new TVUR 3.x system actually works!
Regards.
PilooHi all
You can verify the status of the short name of the "system update" directory (the primary problem) by doing the commands below. The problem i think, starts when short name generaten is turned off when _installing_ TVSU. then the SYSTEM~1 shortname will not be generated, and the program will revert to use long names, but quoting them wrong!
try:
cd c:\program files (x86)\lenovo
dir /n /x
IF TVSU is installed while short name generation is turned on (short name generated on install) you will get something like:
20-01-2010 20:52 <DIR> .
20-01-2010 20:52 <DIR> ..
06-01-2011 10:30 <DIR> ACCESS~1 Access Connections
18-08-2009 14:11 <DIR> ACTIVE~1 Active Update
18-08-2009 14:19 <DIR> Dipmon
18-08-2009 14:17 <DIR> FPIRPOn
06-01-2011 10:25 <DIR> PkgMgr
25-10-2009 19:14 <DIR> SYSTEM~1 System Update
15-10-2009 15:56 11.264 TVSU_TPC.DLL
Notice the SYSTEM~1 shortname, if installed using no short names, that place will be blank.
As an update i can tell i 'fixed' the machine having problems by enabling the short name generation and renaming, then copying the "system update" catalog, thus generating the short name for it - everything works again :-)
PS: as a side notice on a machine with short names disabled and running as a user with a space in the user name TVSU will not even install, as it messes up with the space in the temp directoy (in the users home catalog)
But somebody really should fix this, as it is very normal to read in tuning guides for SSD drives (Thinkpads with SSD anyone to disable this short name generation among other things...
regards,
Jesper
