Scope of SAP SD in Retail Industry

I have just done my SAP SD module and i am interested in knowing the scope of SAP SD in retail industry. Is there any retailing company in India which has implemented SAP or is interested in implementing.

As far as retail companies are concerned they are more into IS-Retail
which is nothing but Industry solutions for retail
This is similar to SD but more focussed on retail industry needs

Hi Julie,
SAP GRC as it name states is on Governance Risk and Compliance. It has very good scope and it has below submodules:
1) Access Control
2) Process Control
3) Risk Management
4) Employee Health Security
5) Global Trade Service
The GRC module has focus on Security and compliance, which is need of the hour.
It will take some time to get exposure to all sub-modules; however expertise in sub-modules like AC, PC and RM is also highly respected.
You will get added advantage if you also have funtional experince as well.

Scope for SAP MM

Hi All,
Looking for ur favourable replies.
Before joining into SAP, I worked for 7 Yrs in diff industries in diff positions. Joined into SAP MM 10 months ago & finished one implementation project also.Out of these 10 months, I got sal for 3 months from my company. Is the industry is in so bad condition ? Desperately i am thinking to move back to my previous company, whats ur opinion ?

I did a mistake while joining itself without checking the company's background. I posted this here to avoid few more mistakes from other friends. Anyway thx a lot for suggestion. Let me wait for few more months & i will decide whether to continue or move back to old company.

Scope of SAP XMII

I would like to know the person who knows only SAP XMII then what is going to be the future of product 3 year down the line.I don't have any idea on other sap product like BW ,R/3, CRM etc.

Iam going to take SAP certification form SIEMENS Chennai. With rumors of recession setting in US, what will be impact on SAP Jobs? Is it going to be tough to get entry job because of the recession?

Recession affects the global market. Many of the US projects may put on hold/Canceled. But on the other side, many organizations across the globe other than US are also implementing SAP widely. Though the US market goes down, the other market will not have much impact. So, don't worry about the recession rumors. Try to be neutral..........
One more important thing for you, even if you are a Certified Consultant from Siemens, there is no guarantee that you would get placed soon. It all depends up on your skill set.

Regarding conversion of PDF Reports into .XLS or .XLSX format report in SAP MII

Is there any way out within the scope of SAP MII to convert PDF Reports into .XLS or .XLSX formatted output.
It is possible to convert PDF Reports into .CSV format through SAP MII, but I am not sure about .XLS format.

I know that under no circumstances should customers update their SQL tables using any method expect DTW or via SAP.

Moving to SAP HR from SAP ABAP

Hello Friends,
I have around 4 years of experience in ABAP. I now want to move into SAP HR (functional), since I feel that I have now attained a saturation level in ABAP, and need to widen my scope in SAP. Could you please let me know how can I make a beginning towards this area?

As Sikander bhai said, Process wise you need to get some knowledge.
My suggestion would be to, first get into HR-Abap for year or more and then think about functional consulting. That would give more hands on experience on learning HR Process and Practices, functional and technically.
Also try to analyse your own organizations HR system and try to see the same system in SAP.

SAP PM is very niche Module, very in demand module, at the same time, being niche, getting into it and getting 1 implementation is also difficult.
your decision of joining SAP authorized training is the best option, as a certified consultant, you have more chances to get a break as fresher and you can continue working on it, else it would waste of your intellectual energy.
you just search sap.com training or email them or chat with them, they will give u the training center details,
but very less training classes are available. Try you will get lucky soon

Can anybody guide me regard scope of SAP in Pakistan. I have few questions; like what are basic requirement (qualification + work) to get a SAP FI/CO job in Pakistan or UAE?
