Scorm enabled content created in a trial version of Captivate 7

I am in the process of getting a subscription to captivate 7 through my school and have created some content to test in my Moodle LMS. When I go to view the content, I cannot view it. A window appears with the project skin but no content. Is this due to the content being created in a trial version?
Thanks,
dan

OK. If it's not even running in SCORM Cloud then something is definitely awry.  Captivate normally runs very well in SCORM Cloud.
Is this HTM/SWF output or HTML5?  That's something you haven't yet specified.
Was this course created from scratch in Cp7 or was it upgraded from a previous Cp version?  If so, which version.
Have you tried copying all slides and pasting them into another blank Cp7 project file of the same dimensions?  That sometimes strips out any corruption due to objects that don't have unique item identifiers.

  • Save project created with trial version in Captivate 5.5 with license

I have a project created with Captivate6 trial version. Now I have a license for Adobe Captivate5.5. The content of my project with Captivate6 will expire when the trial period is over and will not be accessible. I cannot open the .cptx file with Captivate5.5. How can I save my work from the trial Captivate6 to the licensed Captivate5.5? This is the last day of my trail version. Please help as soon as possible.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
I'm so sorry, but there is no backwards compatility beteen 5.5 and 6. You cannot copy slides, objects from 6 to  5.5. You can try to export what is available in the Library, some objects you will hopefully be able to reuse in 5.5. But the project will have to be recreated from scratch.

  • Projects created in trial version of captivate 8

    Hi
A work colleage has a 30 trial version of Captivate 8 and has created a project in it which we are about to publish on our LMS.  But as I understand if their version of Captivate it is not fully licensed after 30 days the project will not work. However I do have a fully licensed version.  So if I save the project in my fully licensed version, will that be OK and the project will be still there after 30 days. Or will it go away?
I want to know this before my colleague goes any further just in case the project will not work when the trial expires.
    Thanks

    Hi satija
Does that mean that if I create the source files (cptx files etc)  in the trial version that I can then open and save these files in the full version and the content will not expire?
I want to make sure of this before I test out the trial version.
    Thanks

  • I am using Lightroom 3 and need to access a catalog I created with a trial version of Lightroom 4.

I need to access a catalog I created with a trial version of Lightroom 4.  I am currently using Lightroom 3.  Can someone help me find a way to get my images from this catalog?  I don't want to upgrade at this point as I am running on a mid 2007 iMac and would need to buy new RAM, upgrade my OS, etc....  I would rather wait and spend the money on a new system when I'm ready.

    Hi Rikk,
I just saw your answer to Deborah,
Does this mean catalogs not backward compatable in regards to metadata and keywords as well?
I am working on a giant archiving project here in India. The main system here is a Mac G5 Tower at 10.6.8, and it's running LR 3.2.  I have my MacBook  Air here, running Mavericks and LR 4.4.1.
I want to take the archive catalog OFF of LR 3.2, put it on the Air, running 4.4.1 - then ADD metadata and keywords to the catalog images while on the Air and THEN re-install/import/export/etc the catalog back to the main tower LR 3.2 with out starting a huge problem of version/upgrades/etc. That way another person can be using the tower to scan while I do keywords.
I have only a week more here for this project. If anyone knows asap would be great. Thanks in advance.

  • Iphoto library was created with a trial version, open version 2 or 4.....

hi, i apparently have an older version of iphoto that thinks its the "guardian" to all of my iphoto pics. i do have iphoto six, but when i try to open it, it says that the iphoto library was created with a trial version of iphoto, and that i should open version 2 or 4 to use that library. i can find no way to open version 6, nor can i find version 2 or 4. is it possible that i accidentally deleted these? and how can i get them back, so i can upgrade to version 6? thanks

I am having almost the same problem! I am not sure what happened to trigger this, but one day, I tried to open iPhoto, and it said that "This library was created with an unreleased version of iPhoto. Please open library with iPhoto 2 or 4." I have been runing iPhoto 5 for the past year!
I jsut bought iPhoto 6 today, hoping that if I installed the latest version, it would fix all of the issues. Well, it didn't! I can't even hold down shift+option when launching the application...once the library is selected, i get the same error message as before.
Can anyone help me PLEASE!!! i'm going to Maui next week, and need to get all of the photos off my camera before i go!

  • "Created with a Trial Version" Bar

How can I get the "created in a trial version" bar to come off when the product has been registered?

You cannot remove the Adobe watermark from the tryout version exports - be it burn to disc product or export to file saved to the computer hard drive.
But, you can remove the Adobe watermark on a project file (project.prel) from the tryout. To do that open the project.prel in the purchased product. The classical answer is to then go to Timeline menu/Delete Rendered Files and click on Delete Rendered Files to do just that and get rid of the Adobe watermark. However, many of us have found the Adobe watermark automatically disappears from the tryout project.prel file when it is opened in the purchased product.
Please determine which of the above works for you and then let us know the outcome.
    Thank you.

  • How can I get a trial version of Captivate 5.5?

I very much need access to a trial version of Captivate 5.5.  Every time I think I have found one, I am eventually offered Captivate 7.  I really need 5.5.

Gchoice did you purchase Captivate 5.5 directly from Adobe?  If so and you choose the option to download at the time of purchase then the download will be available under your account at http://www.adobe.com/.

trial version of captivate does not open...keep getting an error: 0xc000007b

    Hi Geoffrey999
The error code 0xc000007b means INVALID_IMAGE_FORMAT in ntstatus.h which indicates that some files were corrupted.

Fresh install of trial version of Captivate 8 on OS X 10.9.3 - no previous version of Captivate on machine.  I've got lots of crashing to desktop problems right off the bat.  Is there a patch available?  I work at a University and we're evaluating for online courseware - my last experience with Captivate was 5.0.  Anyone else experience this with the trial download?

    Hi there,
There is no difference in terms of usage and features between a trial version and a licensed version.
Could you tell me do you get any specific error message when it crashes, or does it crash while using a particular feature, or is it random?
Can you also try with a different user account (admin) on your MAC, check if it behaves same there?
    Thanks.

  • Anyone had the trial version of Captivate 4 expire in 4 days?

    Hi
I'm using the trial version of Captivate 4 which I downloaded
four days ago. It's now telling me I have to enter a serial number
with no option to continue the trial.
I've seen problems have occurred in the past but haven't
    heard about this one.
Anyone direct me to a fix? I'm putting together a project to
convince the powers that be to upgrade.
    Thanks

    Welcome to our community
At any point after installing did you play with your system
clock and monkey with the date? I find that trials are often super
sensitive that way. ANY change to the date can automatically
trigger a "Trial is over" response as the software is programmed
not to allow date changes. If it were to allow date changes, you
could theoretically run a trial indefinitely.
Other than that, perhaps try calling support. And good luck.
    Cheers... Rick

  • How do I launch a trial version of Captivate after downloading it?

i've downloaded the trial version of Captivate on my new Mac, but I cannot launch it. It does not show up in the launch tool. How do I open it.

  • Opening (not) a trial version of Captivate 6.

I got this message when I tried to open a trial version of Captivate 6:  "Sorry, the program is not responding correctly (Error Code: A12E5.)"

    Hello there,
If you will download the trial, then you will only get Captivate 6.0.1.240
Captivate 6.1.0.319 is only available for subscription (monthly and annual) users and ASA (Adobe Software Assurance) users.
Once you will purchase the subscription or Full version with ASA, then you can update Captivate 6.0.1.240 to 6.1.0.319
    Thanks.

  • Is enable commenting grayed out in trial version?

I have a trial version of Acrobat X Pro, and
Save as > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Commenting and Measuring
is grayed out and not functional.
The trial says that it's a fully-functional version, so it's possibly something else. Any ideas?

Thanks for the idea, it looks like this particular PDF is secured with a password, so that must be why. If I open another PDF I can get the enable comments menu item to work.
I wonder if there's an easy way to put the content of the PDF into a non-protected PDF?
I seem to have other "save as" options, maybe a round-trip to RTF or HTML, then convert to PDF?

  • Can I sell pictures or infographics created with a trial version of PS?

Does anybody know i can sell the pictures or infographics that created by trial version of Photoshop?

Yes, provided there are no copyright issues attached to them e.g. using the copyrighted work of others as part of the image without consent.
Note: no-one has any way of knowing if you created the work with a trial or a full version anyway.
