I solved my SCOT SMTP e-mail issues.  Here are my solutions
1. Emails were not delivered after so many hours,
2. So many e-mails waiting in SCOT queue with status "In Transit"
Solution.
We are at SAP Netweaver, but the concept is pretty similar in ECC and 4.6  I am using the SAP SMTP Plugin.
First what the messages in SCOT mean
Completed
Number of successfully completed send orders, that is, the messages
were sent to the recipients.
Error
Number of send orders that were not successfully completed, that is,
the messages could not be sent to the recipients.
In transit
Number of send orders that are currently in process outside of the
R/3 System, that is, the messages have been transferred to the
external nodes by the SAPconnect send process but neither a positive
nor a negative status message has been received.
Waiting
Number of send orders that are currently still within the R/3
System, that is, the messages have not yet been registered by the
SAPconnect send process. (Waiting send orders are not yet assigned
to a node, therefore only the values for the higher-level scheduled
lines 'Address type' and 'System/Client' are displayed.)
The values in the last two columns (Duration in transit, Duration
waiting) refer to the average processing times (in hours and minutes)
for the respective send orders. The processing time period is defined by
the following events:
Duration in transit
Time from the transfer of the message to the external node to the
receipt of the first status message reporting the delivery or
non-delivery.
Duration waiting
Time from the creation of the send order by an R/3 application to
the transfer of the message to the external node by the SAPconnect
send process.
===============
You need to turn of the waiting of a receipt in SCOT
Thi is under   Scot => Settings => Confirmation of Receipt
Choose  "SAP connect does not expect a receipt fro Internet Mail"
So those in 'Transisit" did send, SAP is just saying "I never received a receipt' You can ignore them.
Now using tcode SOST you can adjust the time manually, but here comes SMTP Time Settings as to the root cause of the dealy.
I am working a large Military Project so we use UTC
But the systems are in the East Coast and run in UNIX under EST (Eastern Standard Time)
So my emails , even though I sent them at 1pm would only be delivered at 6pm as  EST is 5 hours behind UTC.
Now timezones are  set in  tcode  TZAC
So I set my systems Time Zone as UTC - 5  (to subtract the 5 hours) which = EST where our systems are at.
UTC is nice as it avoids the daylight savings times issues
So yes, SAP SMTP Plugin converts all e-mails to the timezone of the server, not the user.
Tcode SOST will show you this.
Note your locatl time
Send a Short Message    System => Short Message
choose a email account such as your work e-mail and choose 'Internt Address"
Now check SOST and note the time on the email.  if it is different that is a Time Zone Problem.
In short your timezones of SAP and Host must match or SMTP will delay x number of hours that the time zones differ.
Enjoy

This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

  • Exchange mode- mail wait for minutes before the app sends out mails

Guys I have a company email address when I was going with POP everything was perfect.
But IT guys forced me to go with exchange I thought it should be ok too, but I can bear anything else only thing which is very difficult to understand.
When I send out an email, no matter is it big or just few letters, the mail app will put it there and wait for so long, then it will start to send it out.
I don't know what is the reason, why it is designed like this??? Any thing that I need to configure even I have done checking everything I can find.
    Thank you!

Even it is by imap of gmail???

  • How do I get rid of voice mail waiting icon when all meassages have been erased?

I've had my Nokia Lumia 928 for over a year and have never had this problem. The "You Have Voice mail" icon won't go away. Even after I've erased all of them.

Let's see what we can do to change this, dodgerblueblood! Have you tried powering your device off for 20-30 seconds? This should reset the device.

  • I upgraded my iMac with mountain lion. I can't now use iCloud and Mail. I have the error message : impossible to activate Mail wait a moment and try another time (This is translation from French).

I've made the operation several rtimes withoiut any success

From the Mail menu bar, select
    Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Look for the unwanted SMTP (outgoing mail) account in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window will open, showing a list of all the outgoing mail accounts. The unwanted one will be selected. Click the minus-sign button to delete it, then click OK.
If there's more than one unwanted account, repeat.

Why does apple take SOOOO long to send a verification email? I want to create an itunes account so I can buy some music to listen to tomorrow, but because it takes apple an astonishingly long time to send an email, I can't verify my account so can't log in!.
Why does it take soooo longggg???
All other websites send within seconds!!

You don't get a verification email unless you are creating a free account.
Add a credit card or gift card and the account is created right then.

  • Internel email - doc waiting in SCOT

    Hi experts,
I have a delivery doc to be sent via internet email (SCOT - INT).  The document is created and waiting in SCOT.  The status text in SCOT is 'wait for communication service'.   This is in QAS.
How can i make it send out ?  It used to work before.
    thanks
    Joyce

    Hi,
Normally, we have a job executed every 15 min. to send all the mails.
Check if the job for sending the mail in your systems is not scheduled or is there any error in execution of the job. You can send the mail from scot or sost by following process:
    In case of SCOT
Expand internet node and select wait column. Then press ctrl + F7 or Start send process button.
    In case of SOST.
select the individual mail entry and press execute button.
    KR Jaideep,

  • SCOT messages hang in 'waiting'

This is sneak preview ABAP system (700) running on windows.
    I have
    - SMTP host active (SICF)
    - SMICM - SMTP service running
    - SMICM paramters for SMTP configured as per help.sap.com
    - SCOT settings for SMTP node done (server/port/mail-type etc)
    - Server is connected directly to internet and should be able to reach the mail-server
    - User with an email-id defined
    - All OSS notes that I could locate have been taken care of
When I create a message, it appears in SCOT under waiting. When I execute 'send' it seems to not select any messages and returns with message 'No message sent'. I setup trace and check it but it doesn't show any error.
Some of the things to note
    - Message appear in SCOT but not in SOST (even when I have everything selected in SOST)
    - When I delete the messages (SOSC, SO* tables) using SAP supplied program, then it shows up in SOST as 'cancelled'.
    - SCOT 'send' doesn't seem to even try reaching the mail host, in trace it shows it has gone through the nodes and has tried to send '0' messages (apparently it can't identify the 'waiting messages' which do seem to be there in SCOT).
I have done other settings in SCOT (eg default domain name, receipt setting etc) but nothing works. I am pretty sure it is not related to the mail-server I specified, since it doesn't seem to even try to connect to mail-server - send process stops much before that.
    Any pointers are appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ajay

    Hi Ajay,
    Try applying this note.
1015628     Documents with status 'Send time is not yet reached'
We  have to be on SP12 stack.
    SAP_BASIS             700             SAPKB70012.
    or apply the above note.
    This resolved issue for us.
    Thanks,

  • Scot:can gmail be the mail server?

    Hi,gurus:
Our company are ready to use gmail as mailbox, but I want to know can the gmail be the mail server in trx SCOT?Does it need authentication while sending mails? Thanks in advance.

This is possible as long as you can communicate with gmail server. (Ping gmail server from your App server)
    Under SMTP Connection: in SCOT
Mail Host : gmai lhost name
Port : SMTP port given by gmail or ( if other service provider like net4 india give the given port)
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - requires SSL: imap.gmail.com
    Use SSL: Yes
    Port: 993
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
    Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
    Port: 465 or 587
    This may work. not sure
Let me know if it works
    Thanks,
    Vishwanath

  • Mails are not going

    Hi Experts,
I have developed a RFC to approved leave, this RFC will send mail to required recipients. After executing the RFC, when we check into the TCODE: SCOTT mails are sending properly. While the same RFC calling from .NET mails are not going.
Please let me know any kind of configuration required in .NET or Share point.
    Please do the needful.

    Hi,
    Refer below links.
Mails are in "Waiting" status in SCOT
    Mails not send in SOST

  • Emailed Purchase Orders not appearing in SCOT

    Hi,
I am trying to view the emailed output of Purchase Orders (via Shopping Cart approvals) to vendors , in our test system. Because it is out test system, and we do not want purchase orders sent to vendors from this system, we have turned the SMTP (Internet) and TOPCAL (Telefax) off.
I can not see any purchase order output in SCOT, but I can see Shopping Cart approvals, Shopping Cart completions etc... Does having the nodes switched off only affect PO output, or is something wrong?
We do have programs RSCONN01, RSWUWFMLEC running
    John

I think you need to enable the SMTP node.
Just make sure nobody is allowed to start the sender job and make sure there is no automatic send job scheduled.
Even if you enable the SMTP node and just clear the entry for your SMTP server in the node's settings you should still be able to "see" the mails waiting to be sent.

  • Is SCOT queue required to be cleared if you send it through SWN_SELSEN

    Hi All,
We have report SWN_SELSEN scheduled every 10 mins. But no job for sending mail is scheduled via RSCONN01 in SAP. SMTP node is active. Is it possible that mail notifications goes to outlook in above case? In our case, mails are sent to users when 1. SMTP node is active 2. No job with report rsconn01 schedules...Any idea how it is possible to send mail.
    Many Thanks in Adv.

No its not possible in a standard scenario. In that case you'll see the mails waiting to be sent in SOST
You must schedule a SAPCONNECT run in SCOT to send the notifications.
In our case, mails are sent to users when 1. SMTP node is active 2. No job with report rsconn01 schedules
This is not standard, probably it has been customized talk to your developers.

  • Mails problem

    Hi All,
    We are using ECC5 here.
On our QAS system, when i send a message from SO00 or from SBWP to outer email address, it is not showing anywhere (neither in SOST and nor in SCOT for waiting or error)
It does show in SBWP outbox, but it is not showing any status information there either.
It should show under scot or sost even if there is an error in it. But it is not.
I did client copy a few days back and it was successful. Is there any setting that might have gone wrong with it.
    It was working before.
I checked notes and SDN, but could not find any solution to it.
I am not understanding the problem.
I would really appreciate your help.
    Regards,
    Tajinder

    Hi Jazz,
It is not coming under SOST.
When i go to SOST after sending message, it shows empty.
Even in table SOST there is no entry for the documents i send.
SCOT is ok. Routing test also shows no error.
The problem is that the messages are not even reaching SCOT or SOST.
The problem of mail server arises when we have a message in queue in SOST or SCOT.
When i send a message from SO00, it does not come up in queue of SOST or SCOT.
    Nothing comes up in queue.
    Regards,
    Tajinder
