I recently purchased the product "SCR24 style lid with window function". The contents of the box is the adapter for the "dock" DK48, the problem that I find is that I have two DK48 and only one adapter. Is official that the Sony's answer is:" every time you want to charge, remove from the dock and put on the other. There is no spare part, cant purchase it separately"?.
I've searched the places I use for parts and cases etc but no adaptors - The only thing I can think of doing is to buy a magnetic charging cable and use that

Not directly; OE is not supported by iTunes. You need full Outlook. Address Book in later versions of Windows is supported.

Okay so first things first this isn't the newest macbook pro. When I open about my mac and go to system report it says it is a Macbook Pro 3,1 and the Boot Rom Version say MBP31.0070.B07. Originally when starting up Boot Camp Assistant there where only two options, the "create windows 7 bootable usb" was not there at all. So after some editing and helpful tutorials I was able to get the option show up and created a bootable usb with windows 7 and downloaded the support software onto a separate flash drive. Finally I did the last step and created a second partition for windows. Once the process is complete my computer automatically restarts.
This is where the problem is. Once my computer makes the booting up sound it doesn't load up windows it gets stuck on a apple logo as if it's trying to reastart normally and can't. So I shut down and this time I hold down the option key during start up. It brings up the main partition and some recovery thing but no windows partiton and no bootable usb.
I forgot to mention that I am running OS X 10.9.3. Okay any body want to help me out? Iv'e been at this for hours and can't get an inch closer to having windows. Please and thank you!
P.S. If I missed a discussion that answer my question just point me to it. Iv'e been looking for a while, but who knows i might have missed one.The only known way to make it work on an external drive is by first installing Windows onto an internal drive, then cloning the install to an external Thunderbolt drive. Thunderbolt is seen as an extension of the internal bus, so Windows doesn't see it as an external device.

Use the Toshiba recovery disk or the Toshiba HDD recovery option.
If you dont have the Toshiba Recovery disk try the HDD recovery:

Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. How can I quickly view pdf files like I can do with Windows Picture and Fax viewer for jpg files? I need to look at several thousand PDF files. It takes too long to open each one individually. The only thing I could think of is combining them into large groups and then using the Navigation index. But I like the way windows Picture and Fax Viewer does it because you can keep the files separate. Combining PDFs causes loss of individual file names. That would be a problem since I do need to have the individual file names.
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is a DLL and is started via a rundll32.exe call and can't be set as an application to handle images in Firefox 3 and later versions.
Try to set Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as the default viewer in Windows, then it should be listed automatically in the Mozilla Firefox Browse dialog.

I have an email account causes the machine to hang up after being in use for a day. It only occurs on my Macbook Pro and only one particular account. The problem account works fine on my iMac and Windows Machines. I have been to the local Genius bar and through trial and error we have determined that Mail is working ok but somehow the account is causing the problem. I have used this account for years. Any ideas what is causing this?
No idea why, but one thing you may try if you have the time, is create a new user, and set up the problem mail account in the new user space. See if it causes your MBP to hang as well. That will tell you if it is something wrong with your main User, or something wrong with MBP.
Assuming this works, I'd nuke the problem account in your main user space, re-start, and reinititate the account and see if that helps.
Depening on how many email accounts you have setup, it may be necessary to nuke the whole Mail folder in your User/Library.... Hard way to get it to work, but just my idea. -

Yes/No/perhaps/maybe? You won't know until you try. Windows programs are generally backward compatible, but of course there most definitely will be specific problems like needing to manually adjust user permissions or getting things like printing functions to work.

I have a new computer now with windows 8. Old one was windows 7. The itunes library contains all I expect on new computer. Ipod will not sync with content. It says it is syncing but only picks up 1 tune. Solution please. I am on itunes 64 but it makes no difference from 32 bit.

My windows was out of date and in the coarse of trying to update it, the system runned into a problem and the only way i could get back my information was to let the system settings go back to its default settings. I have looked into your issue about your HP-ENVY m6 Notebook and issues with Windows Updates and the Fingerprint reader software. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers that might need updating on your system.
It shows me that there seems to be interference with Software task, usually your virus protection.
You might have to disable this software and then run the Windows update.
I would suggest to uninstall HP SimplePass and reinstalled the latest version for Windows 8.1.
I would be happy to assist if needed. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
