Scrambled GL Lines after Upload

I'm getting a report from a user that they are having an issue whereby GL lines are hitting the ledger scrambled after being uploaded via Web ADI. We're on R12.1.3, btw. Basically the description for one line is ending up on the record for another line. So say you had:
amount Description
12.50 Harry Potter's Wand
50.00 Cinderella's Glass Slippers
30.00 Tribble
This would hit GL:
12.50 Cinderella's Glass Slippers
50.00 Tribble
30.00 Harry Potter's Wand
There doesn't seem to be any pattern on the ordering. I checked each cell of the Excel spreadsheet that was used to upload the data with the View Cell Contents add-in in hex and other than a space at the end of the positive amount fields, I see no hidden characters like carriage returns or line feeds, etc.
Any idea what might be causing this?

How i will link the tables to get the DEPRECIATION PROJECTION FOR MINOR ASSET CATEGORY wise. In fact i have standard report for deprn. projection. Please help me any body who worked on that. if possible send me a pl/sql concurrent script.
Exactly i want the Depreciation Projection short by MINOR ASSET CATEGORY WISE. Early helps would help me a lot.

Prior to the update, my battery life lasted me at least a full day. We have several phones in our office and the ones that have updated (4) now have issue holding a charge/battery life. I really liked this phone and can not believe that you are now going to charge us $79 a battery to fix what is most definately a problem with your latest update. I know other people outside of our company that are having the same problem. Not to mention when I called AT&T it was confirmed to me that they are hearing the same issue and then some from other customers as well. Your own people, once I talked to them earlier today, told me they are showing a history of issues that are showing up after the update was put in place. Of course she tried to say, "Maybe the age of the battery and the update both contributed". Whatever.
I want you all to know how disappointed I am in your company for the handling of this issue. I always thought "Apple" was the line I didn't have to worry about having any types of issue. And that you all would stand behined your product 100%. Now I am not so sure.
I would love to hear back from your company on how you perceive the issue with all of these phones that prior to the update didn't have any issues and how after the update THEY ARE NOW having issues. I do not believe this was an issue due to the age of a battery and that was pretty lame to say so. It was fine and now its not.
Please feel free to contact me and help me figure out a way to pay for all of the batteries that will be needed for our company to contiue doing business as needed.

Data in CSV uploads successfully, but it is not visible after upload.

I am using Apex 3.2 on Oracle 11g.
This is an imported application for which I am making changes as per my requirements. As I am new to Apex and even SQL, I request forum members to help me with this.
Please find below the old code for uploading data from CSV. It displays only 6 columns - Database Name, Server Name, Application Name, Application Provider, Critical, Remarks. This was successfully uploading all the data from CSV and that data was visible after upload.

JDev 10.1.2 [UIX]: After uploading a file, how to forward to next page?

Hello guys,
I've got a DataPage to upload a file, I followed the example in JDeveloper's help (Using a Controller in ADF UIX -> Uploading Files Using the UIX Servlet). The files are uploaded fine. But I can't figure out how to forward to the next page (or struts action) to process the file, after uploading it just returns to the upload page. Can anyone give me a hint?

i faced the same problem before, and yet no one helped me, however there is a workaround, though i do not think it should be done. however the steps are as follows:
1- go to the code of the page.
2- override the processupdatemodel method, adding only this line:
actionContext.setActionForward("nextpage");
3- draw a forward from the upload page into the next page.
i hope this would help solving your problem.

Iphoto has circle with a line through it and when I try to get new version nothing seems to happen.

How are you trying to get a new version?
Do you see an update on the "Update" page of the AppStore?
If not, try this:
Just delete iPhoto from the Applications folder (don't empty the Trash).
Sign into the App Store with your Apple ID.
Open the main page of the App Store "Featured" and type iPhoto into the search field. Then reinstall from there.
You need a good internet connection.

ALV_GRID How to get number of lines after filted applyed?

The task is to display title in alv_grid like
"N records selected (X records on the screen)".
It means, N records in dataset and X records displayed after filter applyed by user.
But i can't get number of lines after filter applyed from the alv_grid.
Can anybody help me?

Hi,
If it goes through PBO/PAI cycle after user sets the filter then in your PBO call method get_filtered_entries of CL_GUI_ALV_GRID and then do a describe statement on the table.
Number of entries in your grid table - number of entries in this filtered entries table will give you the displayed entries after the filter is set.
If it does not go through PBO/PAI cycle then register for after_user_command and I think the fcode for filter is '&FILTER' and code for the above logic in your handler method..

Swf files appearing in preview (D8) but not n browser after uploading - frustrated!

I have worked with Flash and Dreamweaver on the side for a
number of years. We all know that after the recent changes, the way
it handles object and embed tags has changed to favor Java
actionscripts instead.
This code I am about to paste was created using Dreamweaver
8.02, with transitional (x) html. Now mind you, this is not the
prettiest piece of code you've ever seen. I now am learning to use
CSS layouts instead of layers/tables, with php and flash
integrated. This one example is not the only time I have had this
problem however.
I made a silly flash banner (its actually a placeholder for a
better one I have to develop) for testing purposes and sizing. It
appears fine in Firefox, and IE6 in the preview mode via
Dreamweaver. When I upload it all to the site, the flash banner
does not appear.
I have tried copying the FLA and SWF files to the root folder
(the fla, swf, and html files generated are all present), and tried
a number of variations in the code and parameters to no avail. The
darn thing just won't appear now. Similarly older pages I have
created that Dreamweaver now prompts you to "fix the object tag
that may not work in IE7...etc" have the same issue. If I select
"go ahead and fix them for me", they are visible in production, but
gone after uploading.
Now to remove the possibility that this was a layering or
parent tag issue of visibility, I created a blank HTML page and
"insert/media/flash" and stuck the banner in there, then uploaded
it to my server. It doesn't appear.
I need help. I have been scouring the web for a few days now
to no avail and have become quite frustrated with what used to be a
really easy integration of Flash and html.

Retaining the old schedule lines after the ATP check in the sales order....

Hi Experts,
I would like to retain the old schedule lines after the ATP/GATP check in the sales order for certain conditions.
I don't want to change XVBEP,IVBEP,VBEP contents in the user-exit..
Is there any standard sub-routine or function module to reatain old schedule lines in the sales order so that the schedule lines will not update with the new values after the ATP check ?

In Include LV03VFMM, you have:
* Userexit availability
PERFORM USEREXIT_AVAILABILITY_IN USING DA_ATPPR.
There may be an option to implement some logic in here. However, I tried changing the value of MVERF_POS-EINTEIL[1]-VFPKZ to initial. This will ensure that when FM AVAILABILITY_CHECK_CONTROLLER is called that the following IF statement is untrue:
CHECK NOT P_ATPCSX[] IS INITIAL.
as P_ATPCSX[] Table[0x648].....
However, this will just mean that the 2nd confirmed schedule line (assuming we have > 1 schedule lines) will have a confirmed quantity to zero.
EXIT_SAPLATPC_001 could also be used. However, when I removed the "X" from CHKFLG, I get the same result; the 2nd schedule line will revert to zero.
They were the only tests I tried; I cannot think of any other ways around this....

Print a line after each constructor

Would one of you java gods tell me how i can print a line after each constructor that tells me that the constructor has been constructed?

I do not know why you have declared the class as abstract. Abstract class must contain at least one abstract method.
In your code, there is no abstract method.

How to validate the contents of excel file after uploading it.

hi Experts,
                 we have a requirement in which we need to create business transactions with the data in the excel file after it was uploaded. we are creating this transactions(BP,LEAD..) in webui -marketing professional role-external lists. what i have to do is, after uploading the data from excel file, i need to check for the mandatory fields in the data ,if anything is missing then i need to display the error message to the user. i am new to this webclinet frame work. please help me in achieving this functioanlity.any code snippet would be very helpful.

File Adapter OS Command Line After processing (UNIX)

Hi guys,
I want to run only one line after message processing:
compress -f %f
It must be compress seeing as this is the way we use it on our legacy system where it adds the extension .Z.
It seems crazy to write a shell script for only one line. Is there any way to run this line without using a shell script and if so should I run it in some additional characters?
Also if this isn't possible, please show me an example of how the shell script would look like, and where on the XI server this shell script should be saved.

Line after item in table ?

In my smartform , I have a table that prints line items...I need to add a line after each line item to seperate them ...how can i get that ?
I tried adding a text element after the item ....but i cant get the line to span the entire table width ?

There will be a place where you are populating the internal table in the smart form.
I guess the internal table will be populated through a loop or through some select statement.
IF it is through a loop then add the sentence which was suggested to add one blank line in between and if it is through a select then add a loop sentence

It all depends as to where you are populating your internal table

You really need to rethink you're computing habits. Using a computer without a back up is like driving without a safety belt. Updating the OS and applications without one is like driving blindfolded and drunk without a safety belt...
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

Problem in Getting Long Text After uploading LT using CREATE_TEXT in CORS

Hi Gurus,
i am uploading long text for Reason for cancellation in CORS Transaction through CREATE_TEXT.
after uploading this text by using this FM CREATE_TEXT i am seeing the long text what ever i uploaded through CREATE_TEXT , i am unable to see first 40 characters of that long text.
if anybody faced this problem earlier please guide me to resolve this problem.
