SCRAP reversal movement after QA32--553 mvt

Daer all,
In QA32, we made wrong entry of scrap qty in 'SCR' storage location. It was by mistake. Actually material is usable and not to be scrapped.
Now we want to reverse it. How to do this ?
I used reverse movement 554 , but giving error.
I tried to cancel it by material document but giving error......
What is the alternate solution?

Use
You can cancel and reverse a stock posting for an inspection lot for which a usage decision has already been made (for example, if someone made a mistake during a goods receipt posting, which requires you to reverse the goods movement).
Integration
To reverse a stock posting, you must perform the following tasks in the specified components:
Materials Management (MM)
Create and process a return delivery with reference to the original purchase order using the functions of Inventory Management (IM).
Quality Management (QM)
Cancel the inspection lot in QM using the function to change the usage decision.
Prerequisites
To be able to reverse a stock posting for an inspection lot, the following conditions must be met:
A usage decision has been made for the inspection lot.
The goods in the inspection lot have been posted from inspection stock to blocked stock or unrestricted-use stock.
<b>If you posted the goods to a stock other than blocked stock or unrestricted-use stock (for example, to scrap), you must first post the stock back to blocked stock before you can reverse the original stock posting.</b>
kindly try this movement type
Blocked stock to stock in quality inspection (349)
Blocked stock to unrestricted-use stock (343)

When you did 553, i hope you have entered a cost centre.
you perfom MB1a qith 202 mov type and enter the same cost centre and you can get the stock of that material to required storage location.

Message no. M7130
Diagnosis
This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.
System Response
In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.
Procedure
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.

Unlink good receipt and reversal movement

Hi,
a user did a good receipt with price 19000 u20AC, changed the price of the order in 190 u20AC. after that he reversed the good receipt but the system took the new price.
we reversed the reversal movement to try to reverse the first good receipt. the system didn't allow it because the movement has already been reversed.
do you know if there is a way to fix the issue?

So far you did the following;
(1) PO with price 19000#
(2) GR against PO (say material document #1). The inv.value will be 19000 x qty ........(mov.101)
(3) changed Po price to 190#
(4) reversed mat.doc.#1 (say mat.doc. #2). The reversed inv.value will be 190 x qty......(mov.102)
Now you cant reverse the mat.doc#1 but you can reverse mat.doc.#2
Now follow as shown below;
(1) Reverse mat.doc #2 (say mat.doc.#3).....(mov.101)
(2) Change price back to 19000#
(3) Reverse mat.doc.#3.................................(mov.102)
(4) Change the PO price to 190#
(5) Now try posting fresh GR........................(mov.101)
IN CASE IF THIS IS NOT WORKING, LET ME KNOW THE STOCK AND VALUE AT EVERY STEP THAT YOU DID.

Reversal movement for reversal movement

Hello!
User have made next steps and stuck. Now I can not help him.
1. VL02N -> good issue from outbound delivery (GI date 16.06.2011)
2. VL09 -> reversal good movement (GM date 15.07.2011)
3. VL02N -> good issue from outbound delivery (GI date 16.06.2011) -> result ERROR (NOT ENOUGH STOCK).
4. (just to try) VL02N good issue from outbound delivery (GI date 15.07..2011) -> ok BUT I NEED 16.06.2011
I understand the reason of problem. After reversal movement we have got zero stock from 16.06.2011 to 15.07.2011.
How could I cancel reversal movement to get positive stock on 16.06.2011.
MIGO does not work, original GM was send using VL02 transaction and can not be canceled using
Andrey Garshin.

try this:
1. issue on 15th
2. reverse on 16th.
3. re issue on 16th.

Single Report for production scrap and Movement type 551 scrap

Hi All,
Can we include the scrap information from production and scrap from movement type 551 into a single BW report?.......My assumption is we cannot include it into a single report coz production scrap will have a different material information and scrap from movement type 551 will have a different material information..please correct me ig i am wrong......

hello,
you can have a single report by two options
1. have a variable on movement type.If you choose 551..U will get materials of tht movt type.
also if the select teh movt type for prodcution, it wil display its materials.
or
2. U have to place movt type in the rows.Place movt type and then material in the rows.
Then u will get for each movt type..its corresponding materials.No variable selection needed here.

Movie after playing doesn't stop at the last frame.

Movie after playing doesn't stop at the last frame but goes back to frame one. Movie stops normaly when played on iMac but makes trouble when placed in the iBooks Author. That's not eve problem of looping (repeat none). Help, this makes me mad.

You have fragments (leftovers) beyond the end of the Timeline content that you intended.
I am going from an Elements Windows workspace, so please translate into Mac accordingly.
Expand your Timeline content to the maximum with the Zoom Out Zoom In slider above the Timeline.
Press the End key of the computer keyboard. That should take the Timeline Indicator to the fragments which must be deleted.
Explore all the tracks in that area.
Repeat the End key press until the Timeline Indicator stops at the end of the intended Timeline and not some 3 hours afterward.
What you find at "end of track" could be fragments or files that you moved out of the way of the active project and forgot were there.
The fragments typically present as thin vertical black lines scattered about the tracks.
Please let us know the outcome.

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

Inventory: Movement after count with post date before the count date.

We have stock movements all the days of the week.
We conduct physical inventories on Sunday mornings. There are not stock movements on Sunday mornings (stock movements on Sunday starts at night).
Usually we create the SAP Physical Inventory Document on Fridays, assigning Saturday as the Planned Count Date.
We enter the SAP Physical Inventory Count on Sunday (at the end of the count) or on Monday.
How you recommend us to use SAPu2019s Physical Inventory feature in order to calculate the Book Inventory considering all stock movements with posting date less than or equal to Saturday?
Please, suggest us a solution that If we register a movement after we enter the count but with post date before the count date (and the count is not posted yet), the Book inventory is modified accordingly.

SAP takes the book inventory in the moment you enter the count.
Best you set block movements , this block will be removed automatically when you enter the count. So you can prevent users from posting until you have entered the count.
If you set the freeze book inventory, then SAP takes the book inventory in the moment you create the document.
This is not a good way if you still have movements after inventory document creation and actual count.
You have to make sure - organisational wise, outside SAP - that all movements that happened before inventory count are posted before you start entering the count. There is nothing in SAP that can help you in this case.

543 Movement After GR?

Long story short, I forgot add some supplied material to a L type subcontract order. The PO has already been received in. Is there a way to do the 543 movement after the GR has been completed? If not, what's the proper way consume the inventory?

the subcontracting cycle tells...
To make the PO with item category "L".The goods is
tranferred to subcontractor by 541 movement type.for this
movement note NO accounting doc takes place.when GR is done
automatically,543 movement takes place which take care of
the consumption os components.
So there is no chance of 543 movement after GR in this cycle..543 movement is auto matic in subcntracting....

Sometimes it never gets past the background of the homepage, desktop doesn't seem to load. After multiple forced shut downs and left to run for hours, sometimes the desktop loads but the dock does not respond when applications are opened. The computer is then unable to shut down normally. Forced shut downs are necessary most times. Time machine backup takes extremely long, and attempts to use the time machine to bring the laptop back to the time befiore the problem arose was met with extremely slow and hung time machine function.
Please help!

There isn't much besides a failing hard drive or other hardware fault that can cause those symptoms. Run the Apple Hardware Test, or just take it to an Apple Store for testing.

Embed question - play one movie after another

I am trying to figure out how to play a short 10 second clip before each movie on my website. The clip may be a short ad or a promo and will depend upon the content of the main video. What is the code that enables you to play one move after another in a web page. I don't want to edit the two clips to become one cos over time the ads and promos will change. In Realplayer I remember using SMIL but how is it done in QT. I will eventually write code to write out the Embed tag but now i am just experimenting. Here is what my drupal site puts out

Set the source for the HREF to be the next movie, set autohref=true, and set target="myself". It's the same technique you use to build a poster movie but (a) instead of having the poster movie open QT Player, you have its target open in its own frame and (b) instead of waiting for a user to click the poster, you have the poster movie "click itself".

Impact on changing a reversal movement type.

If you want to create reversal /cancel movements always copy from standard movement types and create. The impact will be there according to the settings made to the new movement type for example account grouping etc. Thanking you.

Hi,
Cancel material document is used whenever you want to cancel material document refer to the original material document.
Post material document with reversal movement is used whenever you want to post a material document with reversal movement type.
In fact the journal posting in the accounting document should be the same.
