Scratches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really can't believe it!!!!!!!

Good morning,
First I am a person who tekes very very good care of my electronic equipment, I had alot of things and never had scratches simple because I always get a good case for the product and treat it nicely....
I got a 20GB photo ipod in September and since I got it I never took it out of the case (Incase leather Folio)... The ipod got scratches all over the screen I mean in every little piece of it..this is caused by the plastic cover of the case touching the screen!!! I knew that cause in the middle of the screen I have a BIG circle of scratches that is viewable from every single angle that u can get!!!!!
So what am I supposed to do now!!? In the country that I live in I cant find any scratch removers and I really started to hate that product because of the scratches cause I cant even look at it!!\
Alot of people have the same issue with the ipod..I think that one of the main selling factors for the ipod is its very attractive look..now I hate to even look at it..Is there any solution other than using scratch removers!!? cause I dont have them here in my country? What case protector did you buy and have this problem. I recommend the Speck Toughskin, its supposed to have a lip on the inside to prevent scratching the screen. Did you I left the plastic sheet that was on the ipod when I bought it so that I could just pull off and replace if needed...

Can't believe how easy to problem was to solve!

I can't believe how easy it was for me to solve my really worrying dilemma. My iPod wouldn't play the videos which were put onto it and it turned out that all I had to do was change the TV output setting to off! And then it gloriously worked (followed by me running around to house in exctiement, relief and happiness!!) Thanks to everyone who tried to help. I still cant get over how easy it was to solve! All this worrying over something so small lol

Why aren't "Video Settings" listed in "iPod -> Settings" menu!!!! That's horrible design. They must have hired someone from Microsoft to write that module!

840 pounds to fix my Mac! I can not believe in Apple anymore

I have used iphone, ipad and quite happy with Apple for a long time. Then, I bought a brand new Macbook air 2014.
Last Saturday, my friend drop some water on the face of my Mac ( when i am closing it down, and no liquid fell into my keyboard). So how can i think someworkng will happen?)
In Sunday, i tried to turn it on but nothing happen. Therefore, I brought it to Genius Bar- Covent Garden to ask for a help. Surprisingly, they suggest I should go to Istore to fix this and ignore to help me open it out to dry things ( U know that it is quite harmful that u leave it for a long time)
I had to book an appoitment so I came back to my home in Southampton. The Genius Bar Southampton said it is 840 pounds to fix- much more than buying a new one.
i Bought it for 3 months. So i lost everything after 3 months, and Apple did not help me to reduce the harm, Macbook is quite sensitive with water, they said that water destroyed my mainboard, hardware, keyboard( no water drop to it? just in cover) It is quite a nightmare!

UPDATED: my friend just fixed it out in 30 minutes and cost 0 pound. Can u believe that, my Mac is now run smoothly. He is working in computer engineering, and i dont have to pay money for any mainboard, keyboard, hardware,..He said that just a chip went wrong and it takes 30 minutes to fix it.
I am sorry that I have not expressed my opinion in detail. I already known that it is neccessary to pay money to fix because liquid is not guarantee in Apple 1 year polIcy. But i am not happy about Apple attitude to help me fix my problem. AND the cost is EXTREMELY high, now i cost 0 pound to fix it. And do not have to change anything.

Can't Believe Catastrophic Failure Not Mentioned

I've looked at every post for 20 pages and I haven't found the answer to this very basic question.
Suppose you have used time machine to an external drive (Time Capsule for me) and the iMac you are using dies (dead, dead, dead). So, you buy a new iMac and you want your files back from Time Machine. I have a new iMac, it already has Leopard installed and now I simply want my data files back (I don't need the operating system and I never backed it up).
Apple basically ignores this scenario, yet it must be EXTREMELY common. I found one link that says just name your new computer exactly the same name as your dead one but don't use any apostrophes or blanks. However, OS X actually named my computer (like: Zach Smith's Computer) in file sharing. Yep, with an apostrophe and blanks. Here is the link:

So, I guess I name the new computer the same "illegal" name as the dead one? There must be a simple way to access the Time Machine file with a new computer and just restore data files. I can't believe this is so difficult. Remember, it's not if your machine will die, it is WHEN your machine will die.
Will someone please help me out? And, what about the OS X problem of naming the computer in defiance of their own rules. I know you can change it, but how many folks actually think that Apple would default to an unrecognizable name for TM?
I guess I'm ranting, but this is such an obvious omission.

I didn't mean any particular fashion. The Time Machine drive is an external drive like any other.
I didn't know you could access files inside the "sparse bundle" folder this way.
There should be some way to access those files. Try double-clicking it. It will probably just ask for a password and mount it as a new drive. Then copy your file over.
That is what makes Time Machine a very good backup system. You don't need Time Machine to restore your files. You can use Time Machine and they provide a fancy interface, but it isn't required.
Would it kill Apple to let us know this?
There is probably a tech note or web page somewhere that explains it.

I can't believe how fast it's draining my battery. Seriously they have to fix this or let us downgrade. 4 s doesn't get 4 G like the i5 so we shouldn't have this bad of a battery drain. If I knew it was going to be this bad I never would of upgraded. Now I'm going to but the battery case but apple still has to do something about this. Anyone have any ideas or opinion on this?

Totally agree. My battery last 2-3 hours, even after I turned off location services, location services, auto-brightness, and a million other things. APPLE, PLEASE COME OUT WITH A FIX SOOOOON or else I'm switching phones. I need a phone to last at least a DAY for emergencies, etc. PLEASE, we're begging you! Any other ideas? My iTunes on my phone also doesn't play my songs right away...it takes like a minute to load and play a single stinkin song! So lame

My mac os install cd1 is scratched. how can I get another one?
MY computer won't start again. I have tried several tips (safe mode, single user ...) without success. when I attemp to boot on CD1 while pressing C key to try a repair, the computer won't boot (broken apple displays on my screen). After many actions to sort the issue out, I would like to reinstall my Macbook 2006 but I discovered that my mac os install CD1 is scratched, how can I get another CD?

Apple may still supply the original restore CDs/DVDs for a nominal fee. Have a your serial number and model information available when you call them.

I am not sure why you can boot into diagnostic OK but not install from the cd. I think it is a dvd not cd. You sure you have the correct cd/dvd?
You can boot in startup manager on your machine by holding down the option key when you poweron. This will give you a little more info. Click on what you want to boot the click on the right arrow.

Problems with 1.0.7 OS upgrade, can't file support claim, they want me to PAY! for support now! I can't believe this!

After this 1.0.7 OS upgrade yesterday my PB still will not open TXT or HTM file attachments, Bridge files will not recognize MUSIC or VIDEO files on the PB or my PHONE. I have previously filed a support claim about this to get it corrected and each time RIM ends up sending me a link to a page saying these files are not supported. That is simply incorrect. Contact your country's Blackberry Playbook Tech Support and give them your playbook PIN or serial number. They will be able to help you, because the 90 day period is being extended, for free. If the agent somehow tells you you have to pay, demand to speak to a supervisor.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

other then that it's unclear what you are trying to do or if it's 1 or 2 things
playing music videos simultaneously would imply you trying to play more then 1 at once, this is not something it support out of the box I'd say.
then there is the 2 apps, are you refearing to apps which should let play many music videos at once?
and do they freeze when you try to download them, or when you try to start them,
and maybe the name of the apps, in question would make it easier for people to help.

Unfortunately, unless you set up an iCloud account on the iPod and turned on Find My iPod before it was stolen, no. Even if you did do that, there are many ways it could fail (for example, the thief could wipe it clean or not try to connect to a network or the network's location might not be known). But, you could try it by logging in to iCloud and using the Find My iPhone applet.

As according to apple a 128 AAC is equal if not greater than a 160 MP3. However AACs are restricted formats so they can't be used on some other media devices... So on the flip if you want universal MP3 product support MP3 is the suggested way on that topic.
