The load threshold violation is generated because of client count on a given AP, I am not aware of any bugs or features that would cause this to occurr in correctly. basically this alarm is triggered when the client count exceeds the preset threshold value which I believe is 12. You can find this threshold under Wireless> 802.11a> RRM>General (on WLC 6.0.118.0 code, it'll be in the same general area on 4.2; Don't confuse it with the coverage hole threshold which is usually 3). Definitely check the client counts on the access points have the issues.
If you are violating this threshold there are a couple of options: 1) raise the threshold to a higher value; the downside to this is if you get too many clients on a single AP it can have adverse effects on all the clients. 2) add more access points to lower the possibility of all clients being on 1 AP..

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

You have two basic options. One is to use a commercial screen recording app with access to system audio built into the app and the other is to add a system extension like SoundFlower that allows the QT X screen recorder to access/record the system audio. I use the former so I am not that familiar with SoundFlower but there should be several posts to this forum covering this topic.

How do you record voice audio?

Hi, I have been unable to record any voice audio at all. I have tried several types of microphones, and went directly into garage band, but no audio has been recording at all. The speaker part of the audio is working just fine.
I am wondering if perhaps garage band is not set up properly, or if there is a problem with the sound card or driver? However, since the audio out is working fine, it seems that there may be some other issue somewhere.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

It is neither.
Unless you have a special microphone with a built-in preamp (self powered), like DaddyPaycheck said, standard microphones run at line level, and won't work with out a preamp.

LG Cosmos 2 is not sending or receiving voice audio

My daughter's LG Cosmos 2 is not sending or recieving voice audio. IT doesn't matter if she makes the call or recieves the call. It doesn't matter if you call her from a verizon cell phone or a land line. Whenever she uses the phone neither party can hear each other. Texting works fine and all other features seem to work.
Can anybody think of a setting that may have gotten horked on her phone or is it probably defective? She's only had it for less than a month and has not damaged it in any way.

I wanted to give a big thanks to all that gave me great and very needed help. I wanted to let everyone know that. I did fix my problom with get music out of my computer and into my stereo. Here is how I did it. If you already have a stereo with a RCA line in you are good to go. All you need is a hifi-link I got one from circuit city. With it you can take the music from your computer be PC or Mac and play it though your stereo but again your stereo must have a audio in for you to get music to come though your stereo or at least it was the only way I could get it to work for me. Oh and you will need a free USB port on your computer for the hifi-link to hook to see it dose not us your computers audio card. Instead it go's though your USB. It work just great. But you should read on the back of the box or when you are looking for iy on the net make shour it will work with your computer some older systems it will not work with.
I have been needing a new stereo for sometime now. I really like shelf stereo systems. So I got me a Sony MHC-GX570XM. Now it sells for $249.95. Now I did a search for this system and the only plays I could find that sells it was Sony. Now here is the kicker I went to Sams with my Dad. We had stoped to look a the flat screen TVs. As we were walking away from the electronics. I saw it as plain has day there it was in all it glory. Now the crazy thing is this system was not on there web site though it could be now. But when I was looking for this cool system they did not have it on there web site. I got this system for get this $199 thats like I think $50 off the asking price. Now I would have been more then happy to pay the $249.95. I liked to have had a fit right there in the store LOL. I thought I was going to have to order it online. If I had did that I would had haved to pay even more with s/h...
Now two of the big reasons I got this system was for the PC/line in or you can hook up a MP3 player and play it though the system very cool. Sec reason It has to cassettes decks 1 plays and the other recordes. The really cool thing is it is XM radio ready. Though you will need a XM membership and a XM antina. But from what I have read thats all you need. It also has a 3 CD changer that swivals. It has so many cool thing I can not name them all. Now this system my not be for everyone. But it dose all that I need and more. Also it really helps to have a hifi-link so you can hook it to your computer the easy way and not have to go though your sound card. Ok sorry to bug ya again but if I use the voice memos app if I have the screen locked and just on my belt clip on my side of my pants will it still pick up the authors voice and do I need to have all the volume turned all the way up for it or do I get the app u said for better sound?

I hope you can help me. I just returned from overseas where I had my mobile's roaming on but I deactivated my voicemail at home before I left. In one of my first days overseas, in France, I got a voice/audio message for the first time and I suspect it was a service message from the local provider. When I tried to play it, the phone automatically called my voicemail number, so I decided to play the message when I get home. The voice message sign has been displayed on my screen since then, in the left top corner, and I just can't make it disappear. There are no new voicemail messages in my voicemail box and no audio messages saved in my mobile's Inbox or anywhere else in the phone. I have tried everything but I can't access any voice/audio message in the mobile or make that sign disappear. Do you have any suggestions?

I think it could be the phone. Try doing a restore factory settings on it and see if that helps.

Load threshold violation - gap in voice audio

Hello,
I have a lot of 7925 Phones, two 3750 with integrated WLC (6.0.188).
The Costumer says that he has a lot of gaps in voice audio. I have testet it and can't recognize any gap.
I said to the customer that he has to write down the time when there are any problems with the audio stream.
I could recognize that there is a minor alarm in the wcs at the same time when the problems occur.
I could also see in the log of the ap that there is an reset of the a radio after the alarm is generated
The WCS Error message is
Load threshold violation reported by '802.11a' interface of AP 'AP-DE-HQ-033', connected to Controller.....
What could be the reason of these error message? Wich kind of treshold is meant and where i can configure it.

Ripping the background using two audio tracks

I have two audio tracks for a show. One is in English the other in Japanese. Both have the exact same music and sound effect. But different voices. Is there a way I can perform an operation that leaves me with the background audio alone?

Priority queue for voice/audio traffic

Still in limbo after multiple discussions with our vendors, TAC and in general other engineers, so starting a thread here. In the process of rolling out enterprise audio, with the intent to prioritize and allocate 25% of link bandwidth for voice class.
Our config snapshow is as follows -
policy-map qos-wan-out
class dscp-voice-lan
set ip precedence 5
priority percent 25
I understand that
-DURING congestion, this will ensure voice gets a maximum of 25% and is dequeued first due to the priority setting
-And during NO congestion, the voice traffic will be dequeued before other traffic, but at the same time, can go over 25% as QoS kicks in only during congestion.
I am seeing some contradictory results in that we are having high packet loss if we exceed 25% even when the link is less than 40% utilized. I doubt the above CE configurations are an issue. But, wanted to run this by this group.
Alternate theory is that with the above configurations, our traffic is exiting fine - but the service provider who is using priority class queuing within their MPLS network may be capping the bandwidth at 25% at all times (with or without congestion).

Maybe the incoming voice packets into your FW isn't marked with ef. For this reason, you don't see anything at all. I hope the QOS isn't tied to a subinterface, as QOS is only supported on the main interface itself. What you're doing here is QoS Configuration based on DSCP. You could refer to this URL for troubleshooting purposes.

How to create a voice audio file to email

I need to create a recorded voice (my own) file to email.. I have a usb logitech head set which I have used for input to a language program... so I believe I have the required hardware... If I can record an audio file on the hd... can probably do some rough edit using quick time pro... my problem is making the raw file... is there a simple application that came with the system that can be used or can I pick up a shareware or free app on cnet? maybe this is very simple or very difficult... usually the last..also have various apps such as final cut pro/express, toast, etc... but this all seems a bit overkill for a simple audio file...

Crackling and hissing noises in background of podcast audio

I've just recorded the audio for a podcast (two-person interview), and as I've listened back I've found an annoying crackling noise in the background at a few points. Any ideas about how to remove (or at least minimise) it? Also, at some points there is a kind of hissing noise in the background (almost like the distant sound of crickets!) - any tips on minimising or removing that?

Thanks for the reminder Richard and yes, I had done that via the "common" folder and cleaned out all the cache in the various folders. The result was negative, still had the issue.
So, I decided to move all audio (about 16 mins) on track 1 down to track 2, leaving track 1 completely empty of audio. Then I muted track 1.
The issue was happening at around 4:20secs into the audio. Interestingly, when testing Pr crashed when the playhead reached 4:20secs, right at the spot that I was getting the old "deleted" audio in the background with a lot of crackle. I restarted my Mac completely and repeated the process of moving all audio to track 2 etc etc... and once again Pr crashed at 4:20secs.
What to do?
I copied the piece of audio giving me issues from track 2 and pasted it into track 1. I first pasted it away from the problem area (4:20secs) and there was no "old deleted audio in the background with a lot of crackle" to be heard. :-) So I moved this piece of audio and placed it right above the 4:20secs problem area and reduced the audio volume to -infinity. I also muted track 1 again.
Then I played the entire video... and, Pr didn't crash and the "old deleted audio in the background with a lot of crackle" was gone. Gone kinda, because this is a work around and the issue is still there but suppressed for now. I have no idea why it happened and a more technical solution is totally welcome.
What do you think about the above Richard? Hope it made sense? Felt like it took 25 years to sort this out...

Interference/background noise from audio-out port

I've connected my audio-out using a Monster cable from the headphone jack into the audio ports of a flat-screen TV. There's some kind of interference or background static noise. It almost seems to correspond to activity on the computer: if I'm loading a web page or the hard drive spins, the frequency of the static increases. It's rather annoying since I've connected it to watch Netflix and DVDs on the TV.
Any thoughts on what causes it or if there's anything I can do to stop it?

This sounds very much like the problem people have when using separate displays and audio amplifiers. I would try the Radio Shack audio isolator transformer. If that works, this setup also has the ground loop problem discussed in other threads.
