Screen always on!

I'm having a problem on my iPhone 5s. It seems to be some kind of bug. When some notification appears, the phone usually turns on the screen for like 10 seconds and then turns it off. When something happens (a bug), the phone receives some notification and the screen stays on forever, until I manually put it to sleep again. Rebooting the phone solves the problem.

Please don't tell me to adjust anything on the preferences, since I have tried all. I think it may be anoter kind of problem, maybe hardware related or anything.
I ran the Hardware repair DVD and everything was ok, but when the imac restarted the screen was very lit again, but when it went sleep, when it went awake again the screen got dimmed again. Because of that I think that the problem could be software related, but who knows. Excuse my english.

I can't see another possible answer - the longer your machine is up, the more the power supply is stressed, it protects itself by dimming the screen to lower the draw on it.

Why would you do that? That's not how you deal with issues on your iPad, that's how you deal with problems on poorly designed Windows machines.
Try this First...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

..after resetting, and for the first time ever, ATV2 is able to access Netflix and that I was able to log in for the first time too! It stayed on processing for the longest time getting in into Netflix. However, the same message "Netflix is currently unavailable. Try again later." had reappeared on tv screen after. Resetted and restarted ATV2 again but the same message had reappeared.

After Updating OS X from 10.8.2 to 10.8.3, Startup screen always crashes. I also submitted to Apple bug reporter with the Bud Id#13438371
Steps to Reproduce:
1-Press the startup button.
2-Loading circles appears on the screen,
3-Wait more than usual,
4-Then, before Login window (only one user and its admin login) appears, screen view crashes for a few secs.
5-After few secs screen view back to normal and login window appears.

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Input variables screen always visible

Hi....i have a WAD and i want to know if theres a way to have the input variables screen always visible ....for example i want tha t the variables input fields always on top of the WAD, and the user can write new values and click on execute button (or something like that) and execute the WAD.......
Another option would be using input fields in WAD but i dont know if its possible to pass the web item input fields values as filter for WAD queries....

ok, so i click on the video podcast in itunes and it opens in a new screen,
i want to know if there is anyway to always keep that new video podcast screen always on top of mys desktop.
i usually have at least 5 or more apps open and i am going between them all the time,
i'd love to be able to keep a video podcast always on top in one corner...
help?

Use something like NicePlayer or BitPlayer. Both have the ability to keep the window on top (called floating window in BitPlayer).

If you are seeing icons wiggling on the screen, you have held an icon down too long. Press the home button and this should stop.

The screen always changes to blue

I bought a new iphone 5s around November last year, and took it back to China. After power ran out first time, the phone did not work. Screen always changes to blue, and I recovery it several times. Sometimes it works a couple days, and just does not work again.
Could you tell me what I should do now? The phone is now in China.

I am online everyday. I turn on my computer and click on the Firefox icon. A web browser appears but not with my Yahoo! homepage. Instead of seeing my Yahoo! homepage I see a screen that says, "Well this is embarrassing." I read that the problem is due to a recently opened tab. It gives me the options of either restoring all previously used tabs from the last time of use or starting a new session. If I choose to restore previous tabs, I am further given the option to select which tabs I want restored and which ones I don't want to restore. I always choose to start a new session because all previous tabs consist of work that I have completed in the past (whether it be yesterday or the day before). I, therefore, have no interest in restoring a tab that contained an article about our current economic situation for example. As previously stated, I choose to start a new session every time I receive the "Well this is embarrassing" error message. When I choose this option, I am brought to a fresh tab with no information regarding work, articles, or entertainment from yesterday or some time in the past. I wish to have an explanation as to why this happens. I do not go on any malicious web sites or anything of the sort. This happens every single day. The automatic error message that appears is "Well this is embarrassing." For Firefox to say "Well this is embarrassing" is not close to the response it should give.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

E90 Internal Screen Always On

Hi, I have a e90 and I was changing the housing on it. I got it all together but now something weird is happening. The Internal LCD screen is always on, even when the phone is closed its still on and the external screen will not activate. I know the screen works because when it powers up the outside lcd turns on and says nokia but then immediately the inside one is activated. Any help? Thanks in advance.

did you forgot to put back the neodymium magnet at it's place?
if you don't know where, it's just by the end call key left side, when you open the internal display.
I haven't completely opened my own but I did opened the external only and change the faceplate and keypad. I have two e90 any way . the other one is for experiment.

Print preview screen always appears in IW38 while printing order.

Hi Experts,
I have a user who always gets a print preview screen while printing orders from orders list page in IW38 T-Code.
Now we have tried to set his printer as default in SU3 T-Code,
Also we have selected the Print Immediately Option,
In addition to this, we have unchecked the Print Dialog Box in the IW32 for thisuser.
Now while testing we ourselves are not getting any print preview screen,
However the user is getting the same.
Can anyone please explain why he is always getting the print preview prompt.
This might be a little out of PP/PM domain, but please help if possible.

Screen always dim when resuming from sleep

I've got this problem where my MBP, after waking up from sleep does not revert its brightness settings. Instead, the brightness is always one bar after waking up from sleep, instead of six bars which is my default and I have to adjust my screen brightness again. Anyone having this problem?

Not a problem that is common. However, would suggest to check your system preference settings. Go to system preference>displays>click on display tab. At the bottom there is the brightness meter. You might want to set it here. Then also check the box for adjusting as ambient light changes.
After doing this, check again to see if brightness still defaults to one bar.

Orarrp, IE file download dialog screen always asks before opening

orarrp 1.3.4 working, but under IE5.5, the File Download dialog
screen is activated when the web.show_document(<url>,'_BLANK')
call is made, where the extension of the file is ".rrpa".
The checkbox which reads "Always ask before opening this type of
file" is checked and disabled. This means that user intervention
is always required.
When I open the .rrpa file directly in IE (the file is available
on a locally attached drive -- that is, not as a URL at this
point), IE opens and immediately prints the .rrpa file.
Obviously the restrictions here are based on internet security
settings, however, I've been unable to overcome this problem.
There do not seem to be options in IE, nor in the
characteristics of the file types themselves.
Question: How do I set my environment to enable the "Always
ask ...." check box, so it can be uncheck?

I have no solution to my problem -- just more research results.
From MS's support database, article Q232077, IE has a
predefined, hard-coded list of file extensions that it
inherently distrusts, which results in the "Always ask before
opening" option to be checked and grayed out. The hard-coded
list does NOT include orarrp extensions (such as .rrpa), but
instead, extensions like .exe, .com, .bat, .cmd.
Nonetheless, ".rrpa" is still seems to be treated as a
permanently distrusted application -- I do not know why.
To quote the aforementioned article: "[T]he File Download dialog
box is not preventable in any way. This includes the use of HTML
tags, script in the page, hosting the WebBrowser control, and
changing security zone options."
The article does go on to describe IE/Windows only solutions:
<IFRAME> tag pointing to a shared Windows directory using MS's
UNC; and ActiveX/cab construction and deployment. Clearly,
neither is a solution.
I can't quite conclude that there is no solution under IE, but
its close.
