Screen apprears bigger (zoomed in)

The battery got drained out in unusual manner (50% over night) and when plugged in for charging, the device got booted with bigger (zoomed in) screen. Tried reset, but not working.

Double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off. Then go into Settings>General>Accessibility and turn it off for good.

Actually as Roam said, you can keypress, Option + command + 8
But i think wat you asking is that you dont want the screen mving when you move the mouse. Right?
For that you can, goto, System Preference -> Accessibility -> Zoom -> More Options...
Once you click more option, you'll get a window. Look at the bottom of the window for 3 options with bullet buttons. SELECT "ONLY WHEN THE POINTER REACHES AN EDGE" and click "DONE"

i used this dvd burner just incase..
but i thought i might have wrong settings from begning.

To back to the normal scale you have to disable the parallax.
Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Reduce Motion (turn off)
You won't be able to put the wallpepr out of frame as ios 6 (earlier), but it stop to putting the annoying zoom.

Just upgraded to Leopard and a few days ago I accidentally clicked the desktop background (I believe this is what happened)and now the menu, dock and open screens are very large. The screen had black bars at the sides. I selected 800X600 stretch and fixed that. Universal access zoom did nothing. Where do I go to make the appearance look normal

If the screen is truly zoomed, then press the CTRL key and adjust the mouse's scroll wheel to change the zoom level. If this isn't the solution, then the screen is not zoomed, rather you may have it set to the wrong resolution. Open the Displays preferences and set the resolution to a higher level, preferably to the native resolution of whatever monitor you are using.

I am trying to update my profile picture and cover photo and Facebook advises to crop the area of the photo you want and select the area you want by dragging the area of photo , but every time I touch the screen it just zooms the whole page in and out and I can't turn it off :-(

If your email account offers a webmail access, I suggest checking the webmail - log in to your account using the webmail access, and I predict you will see all those "unread" emails there and can dispose of them from there.
This happens because the iPhone that went bad, when reading those emails, did not remove them from your email provider's servier.

If you mean the apps on your homescreen I dont believe there is a way to make them bigger. As far as my experience goes in apple products I have not seem a way to enlarge the icons on your iphone screen.. I hope this help and best of luck.

Does the screen go black while you are using the machine? ...or after it has sat idle for a bit?
If it happens while you're using the machine, check to see if a hot corner has been set for sleep. You can do that here: System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Screen Saver and click the button labelled "Hot Corners..." in the lower right.
If it happens after a bit of idle time, that's normal sleep behavior. The delay can be adjusyed here: System Preferences > Energy Saver.
In either case, pressing any key on the keyboard should bring it out of sleep.
Re zooming -
If this happens while in Safari, and you are using an Apple Magic Mouse, a default setting applicable to it is that a soft double-tap on the mouse will zoom the Safari window. A second double-tap will bring it back.
If it is the entire screen that is zooming, Control plus scroll gesture on the mouse will zoom the whole screen. Repeat with the opposite scroll gesture to bring it back.

How to make the words of the menu bar on the top of the screen look bigger?

I am considering changing my 15.4'' to 17'', so I went to Apple store and took a look at the 17'' MBP, this machine is awesome and the display is set at 1900 X 1200, I realized that the words are smaller every where. While I know how to adjust the words below the icons to make it bigger, but I really don't know how to make the words bigger in the menu bar, in the menu bar of safari, menu bar every where, does anyone here know how to do it?

Yes, but it isn't here yet.
Sometime next year, Apple is supposed to enable the resolution independent version of the UI which will mean you can get easily readable stuff even with the much higher resolution monitors that are coming.
For now you have only two good choices: Use a lower resolution on the monitor or use the Zoom function of Universal Access (and pan the image around on the screen) to help with visibility.
