Screen breaks easily?

Hello everyone,
Has any one experience that the screen of iphone 6 breaks very easy? I was on the metro, and my phone has fold to the floor, I was with other people and we tried to catch it before touching the floor. Unfortunately even that the crash was quite soft, the screen broke completely...Does this screen supposed to be more flexible and breaking prove?
Quite disappointing...

The screen of the iPhone 6 is just as resistance to damage as previous iPhones and most every smartphone out there.
Dropping an iPhone can possibly cause damage.  This is what happened in your case.

The Lifeproof case will provide reasonable protection from accidents and liquid intrusion. Screen protectors themselves provide essentially no protection, other than from minor scratches.
You can use the ones Lifeproof included, or less expensive ones. The cheapest ones you can find on the market are adequate. More expensive ones don't do anything better. Some can damage the glass, which won't be covered under AppleCare.
It's practically impossible to apply any of them without trapping a piece of dust.
    None are really required.

    No.
Almost all warranties for almost all products cover manufacturer defect, NOT damage.

It's a motherboard/integrated graphics hardware failure.  You could try updating the BIOS, but if that doesn't work it'll need to be repaired.

  • Screen crack easily

anyone else have an issue with the new iphone 5 screen cracking easily?  have done nothing different with this one than i did with my 3gs which i had for 3 years with no cracks (actually abused the 3gs for the last year).

Less than useless.  Save your nonsense reponses for nonsense questions.

  • Do Apple MagSafe 2 power adapters break easily?

I was about to order a Magsafe 2 power adapter for my rMBP so I could keep one at home and one at work.  But there are hundreds of reviews at store.apple.com saying they break easily, the wires fray, etc.  but I've seen very few complaints about them on this or other user forums, and none of the five I've owned for various MacBooks since 2010 have ever broke.
Are Macbook power adapters really so unreliable and prone to breaking?  Or is it possible that the reviews at Store.apple.com are so dominated by trolls as to be unreliable?

People don't often write reviews about things as mundane as power adapters unless they have something to complain about. I have one that's only recently started to fray. It's four years old. I have many others as old, or older, and they're fine. Treat them carefully and they ought to last the life of your Mac.

  • Pressing my screen causes a light blue oval temporary... screen breaking?

I've had my iPod Touch 32gb 4th generation for about a year and a half... when I put pressure on the very top of the screen, it causes an odd light blue oval over the screen where I pressed, then it fades away in about half a second. It's relateable to when you press the screen of a calculator. Is my LCD screen breaking? Will I need a new iPod soon? Will it eventually spread to the rest of the iPod and get worse? Thanks.
PS. I'm an iTouch gamer not music listener, so getting strange markings on the screen when pressing is quite annoying...

  • IPad screen break up and freezes

My iPad retina has taken to erratic behaviour recently. The screen pixelated and breaks up, flickering for a few seconds and the freezes. The only way to get it started gain is to press and hold home & power buttons. It has popped and gone to a blue screen on several occasions. There is no pattern - it happens with safari, pages, paper, ps touch, mail and other apps.
Is this a return to base and replacement situation?

You may want to backup before you restore or live with the roblem.
There's no assurance that it will not happen again.

  • DOES THE IPAD SCREEN SHATTER EASILY?

I have had my IPAD for 3 months and love it! I travel a lot and use it for business. I have a carrying case which is well padded and the other day when I returned from a business trip I opened up my case and found that my IPAD screen was shattered on the upper left hand side. I then called APPLE to find out that I would have to pay over $500.00 for a refurbished IPAD. Is this common? I am a big user of APPLE products and currently have a APPLE home system and a IPHONE and have been happy with these products but not to pleased with what happened the other day to my IPAD...

Glass breaks if not handled appropriately. Whether it be a drinking glass, spectacles, a window, a TV screen or whatever.
It is not at all common for the screen to shatter under normal use, but if something heavy hits the glass, it is dropped or pressure is put on it, then any glass may break. It's certainly not a problem inherent to the iPad.
Accidental damage is not covered by the manufacturers warranty.

  • Lenovo mini dock/plus woes; breaks easily?

had this happen on a regular minidock a few months ago and chalked it up to user error. now it happened today on the minidock plus and there was nothing overly forceful happening. there is a little piece of plastic that connects to another piece on a spring that allows the machine to dock. it seems to be a very weak component. see the pic
    Link to picture
Im coming from using over 100 HP docks in our company for over 4 years and never having "break" physically (one out of 100 the power failed on i believe). now ive had 2 out of 25 docks break in the same manner in the course of 5 months. these docks seem cheap, not to mention they dont even lock onto the monitor stands so it acts as a single unit like HP and dell do. i attribute this also to this sort of failure; when the dock is locked to the stand and has an LCD on it, it weighs it down well and if you go to pick up the machine and dont have the release button pressed well enough it would stick instead of picking up both the laptop and dock which seems like the sort of "abuse" that could accelerate this sort of issue.
anyone else seeing this type of failures in their environments?

  • What happens if the screen breaks?

Mine hasn't but I saw online that someone's broke so I was wondering .. what happens if it cracks? Can I get a new one for free or do I buy it .. is their a warranty I can get or insurance that I buy in case is breaks [the glass not the actual phone]? If someone knew the answer that would be helpful :]

Which part about a subsidy paid by AT&T on your behalf for the iPhone 3G do you not understand?
The $199 price for the 8GB iPhone 3G is AT&T's subsidized price.
    AT&T's non-subsidized price for the 8GB iPhone 3G is $399.
AT&T's subsidized price for the iPhone 3G is for new AT&T subscribers and for existing AT&T subscribers who qualify for upgrade or subsidized pricing on a new phone.
The full retail sales price for the iPhone has dropped $200, not $400. The only reason you paid $199 for the 8GB iPhone 3G is because you qualified for upgrade or subsidized pricing for the iPhone 3G. AT&T paid Apple $200 on your behalf. You get AT&T's subsidized price for the iPhone or for any phone that AT&T carries once every two years. The first generation iPhone was not subsidized by AT&T in the traditional way. The sales price for any new product is always higher for early adopters. The early adopters who purchased plasma televisions when first introduced paid much more for it than the sales price now.
You can have your iPhone's broken glass repaired by a 3rd party, but it probably won't be a whole lot less than Apple charges for the same repair - which pays for an exchange, not just to replace the glass.
You sure have a strange love for a company you describe as being a greedy, disgusting icon for America along with their policy in this regard being corrupt and unjust.
I'll bet you dollars to donuts that Apple will not provide you a new iPhone for free due to accidental damage on your part, just like an automotive dealer won't provide you a new vehicle and a computer company won't provide you a new computer due to accidental damage on your part, regardless how many vehicles you have purchased from the dealer, or how many computers and money you have spent with a computer company. None of the PC box assemblers do so, and Apple is no different. They are in business to make a profit and to make their stockholders happy.

  • Do IPhone 6 screens crack easily?

I have an IPhone 6 with a cracked screen.  The phone still works, and I don't want to be without it and have to mail it in for repair.  Can't get through to my local pole store:  Does anyone know if local Apple support centers are fixing cracked IPhone 6 screens?

  • My iPhone 5c Screen Scratches Easily

I got my iphone 5c a week ago today. I feel like the screen is alot worse than my old 4. My 4 never had a scratch on the screen and i had it for over 2 years. On this 5c i literally have 10 major scratches on the screen. The back of the phone is in perfect condition. I've never even dropped the phone or anything. Im really annoyed because i payed alot for the phone and it scratches up. Im OCD about it and cannot stand it. What should I do? Is there anyway I could get them removed or do I contact apple? Thanks everyone.

    i have the same issue
i bought brand new 5c like 2 weeks ago
the first day i bought it,i haven't even put my sim card yet, i look at the screen there is 2 scratches on the right side of the screen,
i always treat my phone gentle & never put it on rough surface
and then at night i checked the back cover there's also scratches on it.
then i decide to put a screen protector on. this never happened on my old iphone 4
use my iphone 4 for like 3years with no protectors.
i believe the quality has down

  • Screen Scratches easily watch out

Well I have no idea how it happened but I have a scratch. It has been in the apple case since I opened it. I let a kid draw on it but I was watching the whole time. The screen seems easy to scratch. This stinks.

The olephobic "coating" is not a coating in the sense that it can protect anything... it simply helps to avoid smudges... it will NOT protect the screen at all from damage or scratches...You need a screen cover for that...
The brand available in Apple Retail stores will be coming out with one soon... here is the link if interested...Apple is rumored to stop carrying all screen covers in store soon...

  • Screen scratches easily

My IPod has a lot of minute scratches on the screen. I have been very careful, blew dust off anytime I put it into the case, but still scratches. If it brushes against my jeans, a scratch appears. I have put on the PDA screen covers, but it is a bit late. I know that they had some problems with some of the Nano screens and think it may be re-occuring.
    I Pod   Other OS

I babied my ipod making sure that it was always either on top of the case, in my bare hand, or inside the case. But sure enough, I looked yesterday and there was a fine scratch on the ipod. I seriously think apple needs to redesign this thing because it is a cheap business tactic.
