I hope someone can help me. The screen on my E65 has broken and I need to get the number off the phone before sending it to be repaired. Without a screen I am flying blind so have no idea what keys I need to be pressing.
I have tried connecting the phone to my PC with PC Suite but the PC software doesn't recognise the the phone has been connected. Is there something I need to do on the phone to complete the connection?
The other way to get the number would be to copy them from the phone memory to the SIM. Can anyone tell me the key presses I need to do to achieve that?

When you connect your phone to your pc with the usb cable, a list if connection mode options normally appears on your phone display. You need to select "Pc Suite". What you could do is plug in phone to usb, select. If that doesn;t work, disconnect, reconnect scroll down one and select again. Keep trying until it finally connects to PCSuite. There are only 4-5 options so you won;t have to try that many times.

Hi there. After running over my phone with the car My lcd screen no longer shows any text. The phone works fine but I cannot navigate around the various menus. I have tried hooking it up to a pc using the nokia pc suite software but that has not worked out . Can anyone please inform me of a way to retrieve the stored phone numbers? I have tried putting the 3g simm chip into another phone but it did not contain the contact list, address book or recent call list. There is one number in particular that I need to see. if pc suite failed you should try getting the screen replaced or check your phone bill or go online to your operators website and see what they can offer

Cracked ipad 4 screen. Need Help!

Hi I bought a new ipad 4 last week from best buy and the screen cracked when my son dropped it. I did not buy any warranty or anything. Do you think best buy will replace it? If not does anyone know a decent price place where I can get it fix? Thanks for the help.

As kyomagi said, we aren't able to repair iPads unless you purchased a Geek Squad Protection plan. I'm sorry that your iPad broke so soon and that we can't be more help under the circumstances. You may want to contact Apple directly for cash on demand repair service.

I'll jump in as the GS point of view.
We can ship it off and from the sounds of it, you do not have a service plan. The average price to ship it to get an estimate is about $85. That covers the shipping to and from, and the labor to look at it.
Once it is there, they will call you with the estimate on how much it would be to fix it. As posted above, it will be in the hundreds. You can either approve or reject the repair. If you reject, the laptop will be shipped back as is, and the $85 will be kept for the shipping/labor. If you approve it, well... as was said, it'll be expensive.

My ipod is broke need help badly!

alright, i got my ipod from best buy and got the whole three year plan and within the first two years its been "broken and fixed" twice. i have had the same problem everytime. an error comes up in itunes while my ipod is updating songs and then stops updating and i have to format it again, as suggested by best buy. its happen a third time but now itunes wont reconize it and when i try to open it or reformat it in My Computer it freezes it. also the folder with the exclimation mark appears on the screen. i have windows if that helps and everything is updated. help please!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Screen cracked, need help

Hi, my son dropped my phone and the screen has cracked. Although the picture on it is perfect i am unable to do anything with it. It acknowledges nowhere on the screen that I try and tap. I very recently recorded my sons first steps on this phone and I am desperate to be able to retrieve this video. I have not used Sky drive and dont have options set up on my phone to use sky drive as I normally just store things to my computer.
Does anyone know a way that I can get my photos and video's off the phone without having to do anything with the phone itself expect for possibily using a usb cable to connect it to a computer. I can't send it off to be fixed until I can find a way of getting it off them phone. Im desperate and out of ideas. Any help would be greatly apprecaited thank you.

With Windows Vista you should be fine. I would suggest you open device manger on the PC when the phone is connected. You should either find the currently loaded drivers there or a driver with a yellow triangle. In any case, remove these drivers. Now disconnect the 820, remove the battery and re-insert but do not switch on!
Now connect the phone to another USB port. This whould make the phone start. Leave it for a while and it should come up on the PC after which you can double click the phone icon and get to the media content.

Blue Screen BSOD need Help!

my Thinkpad SL510 is giving me a blue screen and a black box in the middle of the screen.
I had or still have the 'Mobogenie virus" on my computer and downloaded and run 'Spyhunter 4'
which found a lot of things, but upon restarting I now have this issue.
Also, the cursor is showing that something is active, i.e. it is 'circling'
I am currently using a different computer, so can't download new drivers.
I went into Rescue and Recovery and ran a lot of tests, but no errors found.
What would be the next best step?

wanted to write that if the pointer is inside that box, then it turns and is a cycle, but when outside of the box, the pointer looks like a pointer, i.e. an arrow.
But now the computer is clearing up, so it might have been to do with something still working, so for now at least all is well.

N80 Screen Broke plz help

rite was watching a video on me fone and all of a sudden it apeared to switch off, the screen went black when it lit up again the LCD screen had cracked. I hope u no wat i mean the black liquid crystals sprayed uot up the middle of the screen. Will Nokia fix this for me?? And where would i send it to, to be fixed i mean?? Also will I have to pay for this replacement??

SCREEN, I need Help

I got my iPod on March 7th. Today is the 10th and the LCD screen is internally messed up. It was alone in my bookbag compartment for two hours in its case that it came with and was there for only three hours. When I came back it was all messed up. I have done nothing to it, it hasnt been dropped, and the bookbag hasn't been moved. Will Apple replace it? What should I do?

I have the EXACT same problem as you. I got my ipod for Christmas, and an hour after i took it out of the box the screen had a messed up place under it so i thought no big deal, just one line. Over the next couple of weeks there were more and more lines and messed up patches clearly under the screen. I had it in a case with the screen covered since the day i got it. A month after i got it i called customer service and explained to them exactly what had happened and I even filled out a report on-line for apple. and they sent me a box for me to put my ipod in and i sent it in thinking i would at least get it fixed or replaced.... what happened?! ahh they sent it back and said they didn't find anything wrong with it... im still kinda mad because i feel a little ripped off... oh well at least it still works. i still love my ipod though

Iphone is stuck on "Plug into ITunes screen" - I need help

The battery on my iphone died. When I recharged it the phone became stuck on the "Plug into ITunes screen" - like when first activating the IPhone. When I plug the phone into ITunes nothing happens.

This same problem just happened to me and
I had to jump through hoops to get anything done about it. It is a known issue and Palm themselves have told me this. My phone is now being sent away to get fixed at no charge to me. The number to call is 1-866-219-7445 (Palm Help Line) then go to Technical Support (2). Tell them the problem with the phone and they will give you a reference#. They then told me to go back to the Bell store that told me they couldn't do anything and give them the phone number along with the reference# and have them call us. Bell did this and then took my phone to get repaired. I told them that the customer service they have is absolutely terrible, making me do all this probably in hopes that I would just go away. Well guess what, I am still here and now you are going to fix it just as you should have in the first place. I hope this will get you somewhere so you can have your phone fixed!!!!

I have the same problem on my Mac OS X V 10.9.5. and its just 1 month old.
