Screen Broken, NO Warranty!

So I woke up this morning and my the bottom right 1/4th of my screen looks almost cracked, and its black with a ton of vertical colored lines. Then I noticed that the right side of my display is actually bent, I have no idea how this happened. When I went to bed it was fine and now a fourth of the screen is completely useless. In fact, for awhile the black was seeping further into the middle, but at least that stopped. I don't have a warranty (and no I cannot purchase the standard care because my MBP is a little more than a year old). I didn't buy it cause I really don't take it anywhere outside my house, and now this. Does anyone know how much this will cost me before I send it in and get billed?

$240 seems reasonable, if what the other posters say is accurate. If you decide to do it yourself, I suggest checking the part number carefully because there are usually no returns on electronics.
There are also repair manuals (CD-ROM) on eBay for less than $10. I picked one up and it gave me enough information to open up my MacBook and check a speaker connection. Cracked ipad screen with no warranty left?

A couple of days ago I dropped my ipad 2 on the wooden floor and a crack formed. It is focused around the front camera but goes down onto a bit of the screen. My warranty ran out a year ago. I've heard of getting out-of-warranty replacements. Can you still get one if there is no warranty left?

The warranty will apply to the country of purchase. And if there is a problem needing repair you have to return it to the country of purchase.

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. If you've been through ALL these steps and you still have the problem, you'll need to bring the phone to Apple.

If you damaged the screen, then yes, you have to pay. But most Apple stores can replace the screen for a relatively small fee. If the screen was defective there will be no charge for replacement.

If you didn't buy AppleCare+, iPhone 4S replacements are $199. If you had AppleCare+ it would be only $49.

Screen Broken

Recently switched over to Verizon from At&t (More like 2 weeks ago) and picked out the Droid X2. Loving the phone. Well it slipped out of my pocket as I was sitting down and hit concrete screen first.
Screen is cracked but phone still works.
Question:

If you purchased insurance, you will be able to get a replacement phone. Unfortunately, it probably will be a refurbished phone. As for screen repair, I believe that is an out-of-pocket repair. However, take it to your local VZW store and see what they say. Who knows, I may be wrong. It happens

Sorry, but if your screen is looked by a password and TouchID is not activated, you can't transfer the photos to a different computer, without using the touch screen.
