Screen burnt after 30mins in sunlight

i was in the the winter sun today and my iphone 4s was sitting on the table for about 30mins in direct sunlight. when i went to leave i noticed a yellow patch on the middle left side of the screen. has anyone heard of this happening and if so is it fixable. my phone is still under warranty.

Asset Off Line Splash Screen burnt to DVD

I had the Red 'asset off line' splash screen burnt to a DVD earlier today, what I had done was accidentally deleted a slideshow folder from my hard disk believing it was unused.
In Encore the slideshow was already built, I assume, and you could preview it and play it in the monitor window. Check project ran without errors as did the Build DVD, but when I went to play the DVD the slideshow soundtrack played ok but the slides were replace by a red 'asset offline' slash screen similar to the one in PP that zoomed in and out on the screen.
My mistake in the first place, I hold my hands up to that one. But shouldn't Encore have warned me about the mistake I was making in some way ?

No I opened Encore and this project after the slides were deleted,
I had no warnings when I opened the project, or at anytime during the build process.
After I noticed the problem on the DVD, I restored the deleted folder and all was ok from then on.

Satellite U400-22n and Win7 - screen hangs after 5 min

Hi, This is my first post
Ive purchased a new U400 with Vista preinstalled, last week ; 2 days ago Ive upgraded to windows 7 32bit professional when I stared Installing it windows prompted me that it requires a full installation , so I done a normal full install, windows 7 installed normally .
Now my screen hangs after 5 min and windows gos black and reboots after 3-5 min, Ive downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba site Ive used the auto detect, and installed the drivers one by one and tested if the reboot stops , Ive reinstalled windows now 4-5 time returned my copy to the shop and got a new copy of the windows DVD, its the same,
Please has some one any advice for me. As the shop Ive perched this from will not upgrade to windows 7 for me.

win7 32bit i guess...
you have to install all the drivers for win7 provided by toshiba in the right order!
first chipset and patchfiles if available...
i think a clean install will do the job!
make sure that the hdd is error free!
you can upgrade from vista 32bit to win7 32bit
but no chance to upgrade to a win7 64bit when a vista 32bit is installed...

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

OK. If you believe that.
When the disk is starting to die it can be bad for a moment and then be good for a while. If there was no problem while you were checking it of course it shows up good.
I tell you those are the signs of a disk that is about to die.

When i plug in my ipod touch to charge it starts with the battery with the little bolt under it then it goes to the apple logo screen and after a while it flashes white and just shuts off and restarts the process. Whats wrong and how do i fix it?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You will need to do a DFU restore by holding the home and power buttons down (while the device is plugged in to your computer) until the device's screen goes black and as soon as the screen goes black, count down from 3 and release the power/sleep button, but keep holding down the home button. Then, iTunes will say the iPod needs to be restored. The restore process will take some time and even though the iPod may appear to be frozen, don't interrupt the restore.

Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk. You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Repair reports and if DU was able to repair them. This could just be a start in repairs and you may need a better utility to finish the job.
Then Repair Permissions.
No need to report any Permissions errors........we all get them.

I think you are sailing in uncharted waters with those kind of modifications.
I am only guessing, but if you have not already done so, do a PRAM reset and then trash your FCP preferences.

actually i have a problem with our Enterprise Portal. We have some Employee Self Services running in SAP Portal with connection to a SAP ERP ABAP Backend. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the User click to a Service, he became a http/500, connection timeout.
i found the errormessage in SM21 in ABAP Backend "HTTP/RFC-Session wurde nach Timeout gelöscht" (HTTP Session deleted after timeout)
at the ABAP Backend i set the ICF Parameters to and restart the whole system (QS):
icm/server_port[0] = PROT=HTTP, PORT=8080,TIMEOUT=28800
icm/server_port[1] = PROT=SMTP, PORT=8025
icm/server_port[2] = PROT=HTTPS,PORT=8083,TIMEOUT=28800
rdisp/plugin_auto_logout = 28800
But the error occurs after 30min, now i have no more idea, which parameters i need to change.

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...
