Screen caps on a MacBook using Vista Ultimate?

I need some help. I'm trying to do my school work online, and the assignment requires us to get a screen capture. However the Mac OSX keyboard commands are not working in Windows, and since I don't have a printscreen button...what do I do?

Satellite P200-144 never shut down properly using Vista Ultimate

Recently did a rebuild of my P200-144. Used recover disk with Vists Home. Then upgraded to Vista Ultimate. After that was complete went to toshiba web site for latest drivers and decided to update bios.
When the laptop was restarted it never shut down properly. Left with no choice but switched it off (left in logging off screen).
Now laptop will do nothing. Is there any way to get the bios to boot / restore itself or do I need to bring this to a support centre.

Usually in such situation the ASP help is needed.
But before you will contact the ASP and will sent this unit to for the check I would recommend removing the battery and disconnecting the AC adaptor from the notebook.
Then wait about ~20min, then connect both parts again and try to start the notebook.
If you will be not successful then the help from ASP is necessary

Macbook with vista ultimate virtual machine

I have checked the forums of the virtual machine I have called Virtualbox. I installed Vista Ultimate on my macbook and am liking it so far but i cannot seem to get the internet to work. When i look in my preferences pane in Virtualbox it tells me to choose between "none" or Nat. I choose NAT but i still cannot connect. please if anyone has any answers as to where i can get a driver for vista for my wireless card in my late 2007 Macbook.

I'm running a late '07 MB with Parallels and Vista Home Premium. To be truthful, I don't load Vista very often. However, from the get-go, my internet connections worked immediately after I installed Vista with the default setup.
I'm not familiar with Virtualbox. I just googled it and it appears to be a new program with perhaps not the support you need.
Have you given any thought to trying BookCamp? I don't know if that would require another installation of Vista or not. I'm guessing it probably would.

Brand new IMac can't connect to Internet while using Vista Ultimate

The subject is pretty much it, but basically. We just bought a brand new IMac and I happened to have an old copy of Windows Vista Ultimate lying around and wanted to partition some hard drive space for gaming. During the installation a message popped up that said Lion only supports Windows 7. I went through with the installation and after Windows started I loaded in my old Snow Leopard CD. I installed the drivers and went through the set up. Everything seemed fine, but I am unable to connect to the Internet. I plugged my desktop in via Ethernet to my router but still no Internet. In my device manager there are many devices, including network controller, that have yellow exclamations next to them but I don't know how to update them or where to get the drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I would be happy to take any steps to relay more information. Thank you!

New motherboard. So unless you can find, and want to mess around, which is why the pdf guide and all the faqs tell you what and how to install, and that only 7 is supported.
Vista SP1 is no longer supported even by MS.
You have Sandy Bridge based system with Thunderbolt, hence it needed new device drivers.

Red light at headphone socket under Vista Ultimate

I plug headphone into Headphone socket but sound still comes out from speakers. I notice there is a red light in headphone socket. This problem only happens when I use Vista Ultimate by boot camp . In Leopard OS that's fine. Headphone works well. I search the website and someone said use toothpick to reset the socket, so I tried but no lucky. Can anyone help me? Is microsoft did it on purpose for our new switchers from Vista to OS? LOL

I recently received an Apple MacBook Pro Mid 2009 model which is brand new to replace the Late 2008 model. It is possible to run Windows on the Mac using an Apple technology called "BootCamp". Apple supplies the drivers required by Windows for all of the hardware in the laptop including the sound drivers. On this model, the sound chip is supplied by Cirrus Logic and is a CS4206. The problem that I as well as many other Apple users with these new laptops who also run Windows is that our sound volume coming from the onboard speaker is not nearly as loud as when we are running Mac OSX with is the original operating system. There is also a red light coming from the headphone jack indicating that the optical output is always on. When I open Acrobat 9 Pro Extended using Vista Ultimate, I get the message: " Adobe Acrobat 9.0 has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. Check online for a solution and close."

Should I change the settings? Will it harm my computer? Shouldn't the software be compatible with Windows Vista Ultimate?

Itunes has stopped working vista ultimate

Hi All,
I am using Vista ultimate 32bit fully updated and have itunes 7.6 installed.
Each time I open itunes an error appears saying itunes has stopped working.
Itunes 7.5 was like this but occasionally did open, however 7.6 just refuses to open at all, and after buying my nephew a 160 gig classic today for his birthday he is more than a little upset with this and would be grateful for any help solving this issue.
Apple updater software used to crash, however, since downloading itunes 7.6 that has just ran for the first time ever with no problems.
Please could someone point me to a solution to this very frustating problem. I have looked online for a uk support phonehumber for apple and can't find one, and after spending £500 on ipods in the last two weeks am a little upset wth this.

I'm running Vista Home. After I upgraded to 7.0.29, I purchased 2 songs. 1-downloaded, the other did not. It does not show in purchased. But I have a receipt. So, I contacted them via eMail.
First, the reply said that they put it in my account. So, when I went to my account, it wasn't there. I wrote them back.
Second recply was that they didn't verify that it made it into my account and assured me it was not there.

I have tried contacting them again and again as this is now day #3 and I am getting NO replies. I have tried to find a number to call then and they don't have support any other way except eMail. My requests for help are falling on deaf ears AND THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS AND KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY. I'm sorry I ever purchased this iPod.

SAP B1 Client upgrade in Vista Ultimate OS

I am using Vista Ultimate. I am able to install the SAP B1 2005 B client in the Client system. I am unable to upgrade the client. It gives me an error saying that wrong user name or password. I am fully sure that the user name and passwords are right. Please help

Method 1 - When installing from the Client Setup folder in B1-SHR folder
1. After we choose the path to install the SAPB1 client, one window pops up asking the Database server LoginID and password.
2. On giving the correct login credentials, the following error message is given by the system. 'Wrong User Name or Password'
Method 2 - When Installing from the CD
1. The SAP B1 client is getting installed in the Client computer.
2. When connecting to a company after giving the login credentials, the system asks whether to upgrade the client to a higher patch version. On clicking 'OK', then system gives the following error message 'Wrong User Name or Password'
I have installed the same SAP B1 client in the xp computers. Hope I have clearly explained. Thanks

Tecra S10-106 - 3G driver for Vista Ultimate 64bit

I am owner of a Toshiba Tecra S10-106. Due to the fact that Vista Ultimate 64bit is much faster as Vista business 32bit, I would like to use Vista ultimate 64bit as operating system, but I can't find the 3G driver for Vista 64bit. All drivers can be downloaded from USA in english and can be used in german, only the 3G driver is missing. Can somebody else send me a download link or tell me where I can find a suitable driver for Vista 66bit?

To enable the card you will also need to install the 3G RF Power control utility which is here at http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/3grf-en-20090217134719.zip.
That is only half the story as I think you also need to install the Value Added Package here http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/vap-en-20090217134137.zip as this then enables the hotkeys to turn on and off the 3G wireless card.

Upgrading from Vista Home Premium to Vista Ultimate

This is a question for someone at Toshiba:
I have a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate DVD (given away a at conference I attended) and I'd like to use it to upgrade my Satellite laptop to Windows Vista Ultimate. This morning I did a clean install using this DVD but then when I installed the Toshiba drivers I found the HD-DVD player would not install.
I assume becuase it did not recognise the laptop as a Toshiba laptop, is this correct?
I hence used the Toshiba recovery CD to get back to a working laptop again (and spent all afternoon recovering all my files from backup) but I still want to upgrade to Vista Ultimate. I could just change my system's product key (from Control Panel -> System) to a Vista Ultimate key but I'm concerned the Toshiba Value Added software (HD-DVD player, etc) will stop working.
Alternatively I could do an upgrade install from the DVD though this will take ages and again I'm concerned the Toshiba Value Added software will stop working.
Can someone at Toshiba confirm the safe way of upgrading to Vista Ultimate.

Back to described issue:
I have very good experience with Vista upgrade. I have installed clean Vista Ultimate version on my Satellite A200 notebook. All necessary drivers, tools and utilities you can find on Toshiba support page.
About Toshiba DVD player I can not say anything at the moment but reading similar posts it must be just an update and because of that it can not be installed on your notebook.
For me the best solution for you is to change activation key and use Vista Ultimate. When activated you can update all Toshiba stuff including VAP. It has no influence on preinstalled OS version.

Zen Touch on Vista Ultimate 32

Hello,?I would like to know, how to install the software for Zen-Touch on Vista 32bit. I tried all updates i found (for XP) but i had no luck to get the device working. The device is recognized by the System and?i can see the files on it. But the software shipped with the device wont work with it. Any help??

I do need some help, Using Vista Ultimate 64bit, and windows does recognized the Creative Zen Touch (mine is the 40 gig version) but then it says: cant find drivers. And then I can browse, but my CD (with win XP32 drivers) isn't really helping meplus I installed the play for sure firmware, so it should be recognized as a MTP (just like in winxpSP2 with wmp)

Great ! exactly the setup I wanted. I too plan to use Vista Ultimate 64 SP1 on my mac pro 2008.
So let me get this clear :
I remove the OSX HDD, I pop in my Vista ultimate 64 SP1 Dvd in the drive, boot via the DVD, format with NTFS using the MBR option and then let the install happen.
Most of us would be obliged if you could give a straight step by step direction.

Bootcamp and Vista ultimate 32 bit blue screen

Hello all. I just purchased my Macbook Pro (late 2008) model last night and I also did a memory upgrade from 2Gb of DDR3 to 4Gb of DDR3. And its was working great..
So i've had a macbook before but never a macbook pro. So i ran the BOOTCAMP Assistant and went through the stages of partitioning and inserting my Windows Vista Ultimate Disc. It goes through the install process and once its finished installing, it restarts and I get to where Vista says "Now configuring your system, please wait....." or something of the sort.. Anyway then it flashes a blue screen (blue screen of death) and then it reboots my Macbook.
I'm lost. I removed the partition and tried again with different versions of Vista: HomePremium, Business, and Basic, still nothing. I also tried different size partitions, still nothing. Any help will sure be appreciated. Thanks in advance

My brother's laptop is a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X operating system, version 10.7.2. The DVD Player is App version 5500.26.1 and framework version 5.5.0. The DVD+R plays fine on their laptops, but will not play on mine.

yes, you can locate and copy a file from your HD to a USB key using UNIX commands. If you know the exact name of the file which you’re trying to locate, try this:
find / -iname filename -print
This command will search your entire internal disk for the particular filename. If you know that it’s within a particular user account, then you can save search time with this variation:
find /Users/username -iname filename -print
Either variation of this command will print all files found which have the given filename. Presuming that you’re able to identify the correct file, you can copy it to a USB key using the command
cp -p filename_returned_by_find /Volumes/USB_volume
If you’re not sure which volume name your USB key has, this command will show you what the possibilities are:
ls /Volumes
Please let me know if you have any trouble with these commands.
