Screen crack, squeak noise scrolling iPhone 5

Hey everyone,
So for some time now, my iPhone 5 16Gb whit, makes crack and squeak noise when I scroll and/or pinch to zoom in. The iPhone is almost a year old and has not had any problems, Changes or accidents since. Does anyone have this too? Or should I go to an apple store? Thanks!

Why would it matter if anyone else had this too? It's not normal.
Bring your phone to Apple while it's still under warranty. If there's a hardware problem your phone will be replaced.

With iPhone 4 Apple will not replace the screen. They will replace the entire iPhone 4. If you want the screen replaced on the same iPhone 4, you have to do it yourself.

Iphone 6 plus screen crack, how much does it cost.?

Had iPhone 3,4 and 5 and never had protective case. over the years phones fell several times. they even fell down on road, except for small dings on the edges they never had cracked screens.
6 plus screen cracked after falling less than 3 feet (from back pocket) on to wood floor, even with protective case (bought case so that it won't slip from the hand, phone being so slippery).
I think, Quality of apple hardware and software went down drastically with latest round of refresh.
iOS 8 has lot of issues.
usually hardware is high quality but seems like that is not the case anymore.
Even worse part of the experience is:
    had online chat with apple support person and (Julian) he/she mentioned he/she will give me a deal for $129, fixing the screen.
    After a quick google search, seems like list price of fixing the screen is in fact $129, I don't think there is any deal (see the question).
Question::

Whole unit replacement of an iPhone 6 Plus is $329 USD + tax.
Screen replacement only is $129 USD + tax.
Either you misunderstood, or they were simply trying to explain how a screen replacement is less expensive than whole unit replacement.
Why do you care if it's a 'deal' or just the normal price? Are you wanting to be treated special and different from other Apple customers?

Some Apple Stores can replace the screen of an iPhone 5 for $149. Otherwise, it will be $269 to replace the whole phone (unless you have AppleCare+, in which case it would be $79).

Virgin Mobile iphone screen cracked. Is there anything Apple can do about it?

I bought my iphone 4 at Best Buy less than a year ago. My servicer is Virgin Mobile and I just dropped my iphone on its face and the corner of the screen cracked. sounds like you won't be able to do a backup. Hopefully, if you've been using your phone as directed, you've been backing up frequently so you won't have much data loss.

Apple will not replace it for free.
If the iPhone remains under warranty, accidental damage is not included with the standard one year warranty. The warranty is a limited manufacturer's warranty only, not insurance.
If you purchased the newer AppleCare extended warranty when the iPhone was purchased new, the newer AppleCare extended warranty extends the standard one year warranty by an additional year and includes some insurance covering accidental damage. Apple will now even replace your screen only, so if your buttons and things are working, no need to get the entire phone replaced. You can also be really, really, reallllly nice to them and they may replace the screen for free. Say that you were shoved and it flew out of your hands or something. They don't have to of course, but since it's a relatively new phone, they may have a little bit of pity

To begin, I have had this problem since iTunes 9. When I click on an album in iTunes (in the view which displays all of the album covers but is not the cover-flow view) and that albums particular songs come up there is a squeaking noise that sounds somewhat akin to polyurethane being rubbed against itself. This sound also manifests itself when leaving the album, searching within itunes or the itunes store, and selecting particular subgenres and albums to view in the itunes store (this is not the entire list of its manifestations, just a good list of examples). Is there any way to stop this noise from manifesting itself?
