Screen dark since v6.0 on iphone 4s
Installed the v6.0 last night. Almost everytime I start the phone up the screen is very dark. I unchecked the auto and set it on halfway. And still it appears dark, like almost 1/10 screen brightness. I have to go into the screen brightness setting. Hardly move the setting and it goes back to where it was set. But after it is offfor a while it is back to dark again ?

Why is my screen dark since my update earlier today?
Launched program after an update on 10/14/14 and the screen is black except for where the banner should be across the top. I tried to uninstall and reload but got the same result.
Could you try starting Firefox in its Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
With Firefox fully closed, you can hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
Any difference?
If Firefox is visible, go ahead and disable Firefox's use of hardware acceleration as a workaround for a possible graphics card driver software incompatibility.
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
That will be in effect the next time you exit and start Firefox back up. -
since i updated my iphone 4 to ios 6, i ve noticed that the wifi connection turns off each time when the screen is locked. I need to be connected with wifi all the time so as to stay updated with all my emails. is there anyway for this problem.
(PS: i know we could use 3G but i want to use wifi instead)I am having a really wierd issue as well that is probally related. I dont see 95% of the album artwork associated with my music. Also, it seems as if this has gotten worse since I started using that match feature

Screen won't light on my iphone 3. Phone works and if I look REALLY HARD in just the right light, I can read the dark screen. Any idea where to go to have this fixed and how much it might cost?

Since installing Leopard, my iPhone is no longer recognized by iMac
Since installing Leopard, my iPhone is no longer recognized by iTunes and cannot synch. Could you let me know how I can get iTunes to recognize my iPhone again. It is odd since i plug the iPhone into the iMac and it is no longer recognized in iTunes and my address book and calendar. It worked fine before installing Leopard. You assistance is greatly appreciated.

I can still view them in my Videos which is not in orderly manner or arragement like i wanted unlike in the Playlist. There is some sort of restrictions i guess. I already checked the Allow All Movies but still the videos does'nt appear. What should I do?

Thank you very much.Similar problem here. My Ical refuses to edit or delete events. Viewing is possible, though sometimes the whole screen turns grey. Adding new events from mail is still possible. The task-pane completely disappeared. My local apple technic-centre messed about with disk utility for a bit and than told me to reinstall leopard. I could of course do that, but it seems to me that reinstalling Leopard just to fix iCal events is a bit invasive.
I tried also tried removing everything, installing a new copy of iCal from the leopard-cd, software updates, all to no avail.
At the moment I'm open to all suggestions that do not include a complete leopard reinstall. -

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5. I have a Motorola HX550 Bluetooth Headset which worked flawlessly with the iPhone 4s. However, since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I frequently lose audio when in the middle of a call. I am not certain whether it is a full disconnect or just an audio loss. The person on the other end reports still being able to hear me, however, I suppose they could hear me speaking over another source even if bluetooth disconnected. The loss of audio is always preceded by a quick shrill noise, so I can easily tell when it happens. All I have to do to fix the problem is to select Audio Source on the call screen, temporarily switch audio back to the iPhone, and then switch back to the headset, and then it starts working again.

Really nice Headset unless you own an Iphone 5. I own several Plantronics headsets and have always loved the quality/ performance. This headset seems not to be compatible with the new Iphone 5. In the middle of a conversation it will lose all incoming audio. This leaves you trying to switch audio sources really fast in order not to lose your phone call. Ive tried 3 legend headsets and they all do the same thing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because the headset is really nice
Since this issue appears to affect multiple headsets from multiple vendors, I think it is fair to conclude that it is an issue with the iPhone5 bluetooth itself.
I am posting this as a new discussion as I don't see any other posts specific to this iPhone 5 Bluetooth issue. I would have reported this as a problem to Apple, but don't seem to be able to find a way to do this on the web. Hopefully they are already aware, but if not, maybe they will see i here.here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock. -

Prior to upgrading iPhoto in Dec 2013 photos printed fairly close to how they appear on screen. Since upgrading the picture are so dark that iPhoto is pretty much useless to me. I'm running current OS X on an IMac with an HP 3520 printer. I've searched and searched for configuration settings for both iPhoto and the printer and can't find any setting to solve the problem. Any suggestions?

HT1766 Black screen after i dropped it but iphone is working.
I dropped my iphone in water but after i dried it, it started working well and sounds also returned but camera doesnt work however last night i dropped my phone twice, one after another (Accidentally) and since then my iphone has had a black screen.

I have unlocked iPhone 4S which I bought in Jan 2011 from store in Saudi Arabia... Since I bought my iPhone and it is linked to my Apple ID... Lately I moved from my Country Egypt to Slovakia so I didn't take my Egyptian Vodafone SIM Card with me as I will buy a Slovakian one...
Days ago before buying a new SIM Card, iTunes found new update IOS 7.0.4 and after installing the update my iPhone restarted and started to take me through activation... The activation needed a SIM Card so I bought Telefonica O2 SIM Card and I tried to continue the activation... At the step of writing my Apple ID and my Passowrd, I wrote them right but an error window appeard saying that incorrect Apple ID and my Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPhone...
I checked my Apple ID on iTunes and iCloud to make sure that my password and my account are ok and it was working... I thought it might be a problem with the SIM Card so I went to O2 customer service and they said that the problem is not with the SIM Card as the SIM Card is working so they can not do anything for me... On the window of activation logging in there is link "activation help" and by clicking it after typing my Apple ID and password, a window appears saying that my iPhone could not be activated because activation server cannot be reached and asking me to try activating on iTunes or trying again later and if this problem persists I should contact Apple support...
I tried activating on iTunes and the same message appeared that my Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPhone and I tried activating many times for two days on my iPhone and iTunes and nothing is working... I also tried to call Apple service number in Slovakia (0800004640) and they said for iPhone I should contact my carrier network which I contacted already and they didn't help at all as I mentioned before... In the end of my tries I went to iCloud finder to find my iPhone on my account and I didnt find it there because I never set up iCloud on my iPhone before...
I don't know really what to do as I'm the first and the only owner and my Apple ID is the only linked to this iPhone, even on the window of activation logging in it is written there that this iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID (b*****@yahoo.com) which is true ... This iPhone is unlocked one and it was working in Saudi Arabia and Egypt with various SIM Cards... My iPhone was connected to a wifi internet when I tried to activate it and when I tried activation by iTunes I was using my laptop with windows 7 which was connected to internet by cable.
I updated my iPhone to IOS 7 when I was in Egypt and I had no problems with updating it and I can't remember if finding my iPhone option was on or off before updating to IOS 7 and as i understood from searching internet that to use iCloud Finder on web from computer to find my iPhone it should be set up already on my iPhone and I didn't set up iCloud on my iPhone before and my Apple ID wasn't verified for iCloud till today, I verfied it by logging in iCloud from a friend iPad.
I was considering already the option that my iPhone has been hacked but if this happened so how I would unlock my iPhone and activate it to back to work? who would help me with that? I'm so tired of being without my phone for almost 4 days and I started to consider not having any Apple product anymore... I think that this way to secure the consumer has a lot of conflicts... -
Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 4 to Version 5, all the new apps that I try to download keeps saying "waiting" on my phone... It won't open or download! Only the old apps that I already had before I upgraded my phone works. Please help!!!
Try resetting the iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Since Mavericks update my iPhone and iPad calendars
are NOT syncing with the calendar on my MacBook Pro.
I used to use iTunes but don't see the options now.
Does anyone know how to set up a sync.?I have temporarily solved the sync problem by using an older MBAir running snow leopard, I exported
both calendar and contacts and imported them in the MBA and synced normally.
Since I'm not about to send my data on the cloud, or setup a server to just sync my iphone,
I think this is a good workaround ! BTW I stopped updating my contacts and calendar on the MB, I only
update the iphone until a permanent solution is found !
And they better come up with one soon, because I'll just switch to an Android phone and Ubuntu linux for my MBP, Apple should make our lives easier, not harder !
