Screen enhancement using BADI not workingin background for program RFRECPSFA520

Hi Gurus,
I implimented the badi BADI_RECP_SF (Enhancement spot BADI_RE_CP_SF) add custom tab with custom field for additional selection criteria.I used the steps provide in BADI documentation. Everything is working fine but when I run the program in background the additional field values are not comming in the method where I need to filter record. Additional field values are populating fine when I run the program in foreground.
Does anybody come accross this issue, any input? Is the screen enhancemnets are only for foreground pocessing?

it will lil easy if you can take access key from basis and just add one more selection in selection screen.

Hi,
We had a 2LIS_* extractor which is enhanced with ZZ fields.
I look for the sode in CMOD which i couldn't able to find any
My assumption is the data source is enhanced using BADI.....As i am not familiar with BADI's how can i create for my data source enhancement code in BADI

Not sure on your question.
Is the Enhancement already done and you want to check whether it is done in BADI/CMOD.
Or
You want to populate the Data using BADI/CMOD.
In any case you can use CMOD or BADI to populate the data ,the recomendded is BADI which can be created in SE24..you can google for some Docs on its creation and steps to be followed.
And if tis CMOD you have to create a project and then write the code and for that also there are DOcs avaliable.

If it is not too distracting, I like to overlay the credits on a still scene that sort of sums up the whole movie....just so the credits are not overshadowed by the background. That worked well for a movie of a little league baseball game and my favorite baseball little leaguer.
Another time, for a birthday celebration for a retired very special person, I used rolling credits against just a smiling face of the birthday person with a chiming like version of happy birthday music. I kept everything light and readable with a balance between face and credits. Then as the credits ended, I eased into a thank you to him title followed by cameo shots of faces with names (about 3 cameos per image) of all the people who attended the gathering for this special person. So many times as the years go by there will be a person watching the video and asking who is that? So, my cameos were gently placed and presented and served the purpose of letting everyone know/remember who was who.
I tend to let the work direct me in all decisions in creating the credits. Probably white is the generalized answer for lettering against a black background. Just white rolling credits on black does not necessarily grab by attention. But that is a generalization that may not apply to your specific project.
Just some thoughts.

How to Save Screen data using BADI for Screen Exit

Hi All,,
I have requirement got MIGO Transaction. Customer wants one tab besides VENDOR on header level. For that i used BADI 'MB_MIGO_BADI'. Also i created Append Structure in MKPF Table for two fields and designed sreen using SE51.
Now i want to save this data ( with added new fields ) into Data base table MKPF. I don't know where to place code .
Also pl confirm me that, when i copy Sample Code from
Go to -> Sample Code -> Copy . All the code is copied from BADI. So is it necessary to keep the code for each method as it or i have to comment all the code i each methos. i am littel bit confused abt it. Please tell me in detial.
Also tell where to put logic for saving newly added fields .

HR Master Data Enhancement using BAdi RSU5_SAPI_BADI.

Hi Experts,
I am trying to use first time BAdi 'RSU5_SAPI_BADI' instead of RSAP0001 for enhancing HR Master data. I have enhanced the structure and I have created implemention method for BAdi and activated fine. Then I am not sure about the next step, I did search SDN but this point is not clear. Where is the link between these two things between Structure and the method, how is it called to populate the data. Because When I run RSA3, it shows my new field with blanks. So I am missing some thing that integrates. IF some one has implemented this please let me know. Your help is appreciated.

I was able to populate the new fields only when I use the structure in one place ie in BAdI. I mean, two fields were populating using user exit and I was trying two fields using BAdI for the same structure. When I tried all fields from BAdI only then it worked. So is my assumtion correct that we should either use user exit or BAdI for the same structure?

Screen data handling in Screen Enhancement with BAdI's ?

I'm trying to build a Screen Enhancement with (new) BAdI concept.
But now I'm having a Problem. The new BAdI's don't allow variable Attributes (instance/static attribute) in the BAdI Interface.
If I try to define an instance or static Attribute for the BAdI-Interface I get the following error message:
"BAdI interface <my_badi_if> contains non-constant attributes "
In my Screen Enhancement I have build a Subscreen with new fields in it. These field data couldn't be saved in the BAdI class (e.g. via BAdI-methods my_badi->get_data_from_screen... and my_badi->put_data_on_screen...) because having no attributes.
How these screen-data could be handled without BAdI-Interface-Attributes?

Having the same service to get one product price as well as all product prices would not be recommended. Two separate services would be more reasonable
Mass data handling in SOA is not entirely different than let's say in BAPI/RFC environment. parallelism, multi-threading, locking, commit and many others are typical elements of considerations.
From a scalability standpoint, you can always be interested in how optimal its performance is whether you call it once or a million times. If the service is a rather slim one (lightweight in terms of number and types of parameters as well as processing code), you'll surely have better chance than with a service that's heavyweight.

CRM Datasource enhancement using BADI

Hi Guys,
There is a lot of confusion among our BW community here about the implementation of the "CRM_BWA_MFLOW" BADI to enhance the datasources. It would be a great service is someone can clear the fog on this.
The steps that I followed in doing this are
1. Appended the standard datasource structure with the additional fields that need to be populated.
2. Unhid the fields in the transaction RSA6.
3. Created an implementation of the BADI "CRM_BWA_MFLOW" and tried to map the fields to the append structure.
This is where I am stranded. How do we map the fields from the BDoc to the append structure fields. If someone can provide with a sample code with some documentation, that would be a great help for many of us here.
I have earlier implemented the User exit to enahnce the datasource but it really is a big pain, especially when you know that using the BAdi can be easier.
Really appreciate your contribtion.

How to use different (not local) user for NTLM auth in Authenticator?

Hi All,
I use custom authenticator to provide user / passwords to connect to .NET Web Services. I overloaded function getPasswordAuthentication() that returns right user / password combination for the requested URL. It all works perfectly for many kinds of HTTP connections: basic, ntlm, ntlm-v2, through proxy, ssl, etc.
My problem is that during NTLM authentication from Windows computers JVM uses credentials of the currently logged in domain user instead of calling Authenticator to get other user / password provided by the user. In case when local user credentials fail to authenticate, JVM calls my Authenticator but in case authentication is successful it does uses local domain user and never calls my Authenticator. The issue is when this local domain user does not have enough permissions but authenticated correctly there is no way to supply JVM with another user to begin with.
What can I do to force JVM to ignore local domain user and to use Authenticator to collect credentials during NTLM authentication requested by the server in case the software runs on a Windows box with currently logged in domain user?
I am looking for the answer for a long time already but found only questions and suggestions to switch server from NTLM authentication which is not an option for me. From the developer's view it has to be pretty simple change for Sun to do in Java networking API. Is there any way to escalate it to Sun support? Maybe there is some property in some JRE patch level that allows to do this?

Thank you for the reply. I have kind of an opposite problem. I can perfectly connect from Linux computers to Microsoft IIS servers using NTLM or even NTLMv2 authentication. My problem is connecting from Windows client computer joined to the same domain as IIS server with the domain user logged in to this computer. In this case this user account will be used in any HTTP connections I initiate to this IIS server instead of the one that I want to supply in my custom Authenticator.
I have graphical interactive application that connects to IIS Server. When user runs it and connects to IIS server I want to prompt for the user/password regardless whether JRE may correctly authenticate using current user account credentials. The current user may not have enough permissions in IIS application so I want to use different user to login to IIS application.

How can I use an image as background for the entire page?

With CSS mill, the solid color was defined in the color.X.property file and there is no place to define an image to use as the background? Is it doable to use an image as the background for teh entire page? If so, where to add it and how to implement? Thank you!

While I have been able to add the image to a JLabel and insert it into frames, so that it looks like a suitable background, I have found it impossible to place any other component over the top of said imageDid you set a layout manager for the label?

Solid background for program (not document)

Just installed InDesign CC on Mac. I find having my desktop partailly showing very annoying. Is there any way to have a sold background for the program like there is in Photoshop? Same question Applies to Illustrator CC.

Dear Experts,
After saving the sales order i would like to view the print preview.
For this I found one implicit enhancement spot and i called the print Program for sales order. Then i am able to view the Sales order print preview in VA01 Transaction code. I wrote my logic in the Below mentioned Enhancement implementation.
Main Program : SAPMV45A
Include : MV45AF0B_BELEG_SICHERN
Form : beleg_sichern
At the endform I am calling the Print program of Sales order so that after saving the sales order i am able to view the print preview of the Sales order.
The requirement is i have created the Custom program in that i am using the "CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01'". In the custom program i am not able to view the Sales order print preview. The Enhancement spot is not getting triggered.
Could you please help me to solve this issue.

Like I said, you must use the parameter RA_COMMIT from BDC_OPTIONS. Like this:
DATA: bdc_options TYPE ctu_params.
bdc_options-ra_commit = ' X' .
bdc_options-dismode = ' N'.
CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' OPTIONS FROM bdc_options.
Everytime you use a CALL TRANSACTION, the called transaction will stop when a COMMIT WORK is found, and you have to pass the parameter RA_COMMIT with 'X' to make the transaction execute any code after COMMIT WORK. This only happens when you call a transaction via CALL TRANSACTION, it will not happen if the user access a transaction directly.

BW: Not getting Dump For Program error in Process Chain

I have one issue regarding Master data loading issue in BW(3.5).
My business flow like we have received data from server A and Server A extract data from Server B and
Server B which is extract data from source(R/3).
Flow like this R/3-->Server B-->Server A(ETL) -
> My Server.
We have a mater data process chain and that chain we have have the source system Server A but in the process chain one process is there which is fethces data like global transport e.g UOM,factory calender etc through Custom program directly from Server B.
Oneday what happened On that process the process chain Yellow since more than 16 hrs.Once nextday process chain trigger the process chain runs sucessfuly.
But lastdays process chain paticular process stills remains yellow?
We are not getting any dumps and even if from Server A there is no logs then anyone could please tell me what is reason and how to solve it.
Note: it will be helpful for me if any one know how to check dump for program errors in Process chain as narated issue.

The question is, why the program RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS is not scheduled. Is it because there is no free resource? Or poor response from SAP ECC?
Finally what does "EXTRACTION OF DATAPACKAGE 000001" mean? Its not scheduled?
