Screen enlarged fonts horrible

Dear friends,
I was sitting with my 10 month old baby on my lap trying to work and he banged his cute little hands on the keyboard.
Now the screen has enlarged and I cannot see it in one screen AND the fonts look TOTALLY horrible !!!
I have checked the System Preferences->Universal Access->Seeing- and Zoom is OFF (nor does the Alt-Cmd-minus do anything,
Please help me the iMac 27" is almost unusable. Running under Lion.

It wasn't the resolution. The screen appeared larger and when I touched one of the sides it jumped to show what was off the screen.
I rebooted and all seems allright now. Go guess.

Is this what you mean?
If it looks like this then you need to enter the correct passcode to unlock it. I realize this says iPhone but it works the same way for the iPad
If you forgot the passcode, you will have to restore via iTunes with the last computer that you synced with.

How to enlarge font in ios6 for mail? Email was easier to read on ios5. I can't find the font setting on ios6.

From the Mail menu bar click Mail > Preferences then select the Fonts & Colors tab.
You can reset fonts sizes from there.
Another way to open Mail Preferences, with Mail running, press Command , (comma) on your keyboard.
The Mavericks upgrade may have reset that data to factory settings.

Try double-tapping the screen with 3 fingers and see if that zooms it back out - and if it does set Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom 'off'. If it doesn't zoom you back then try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.

You can right click the tab and choose "Close Tab" to close a tab.
Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F or Alt+B to open the "File" and "Bookmarks" menu and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by pressing Alt or by pressing F10.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

My screen enlarged by itself. I am now unable to access the bottom of the home screen and the sides of any screen (i.e., can't type text msgs because I can't access the whole keyboard...middle of the screen, not the sides. What do I do?

I have a few similar incidents happened on my iphone 4 and now my 5. Was able to resolve the problems before by struggling slowly to maneuver things around. But this time, the screen was so much enlarged that I have no way of sliding to unlock. Figured that I had to come online to search for rescue. Scrolled down on my search results and found quite a number of people encountered the same issue, but found only one suggested resolution. But with an answer right-on, one is all I need. Thanks for sharing!! Never knew it's so simple and straight forward to tackle the problem. Now I just had to make sure I remember how to do it the next time it happens again. But I'm just curious, do you know what happens that triggers the screen to enlarge so much? I only know that each time it occured, my finger was somehow unintentionally touching the screen some way or another... ???

Anyone seen your iphone home screen enlarged? Can't see the call icons and on lock screen lock slide visible. Once phone is rebooted, goes back to normal, but happend twice today. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

My iPhone 5s: screen enlarges / magnifies randomly and won't allow me to scroll enough to see or tap on other icons. Can't even get to the "slide off" to turn off phone and reboot.
(Btw, missed my United flight because couldn't get screen to allow me to show the electronic boarding pass for TSA agent. Will go back to carrying paper copies in future, but disappointed to miss the airline's move to streamline the boarding process.)

I just downloaded Firefox 4 and the "screen enlargement" feature on Mac's (where you spread your fingers apart on the mouse and the screen fonts get larger) is not working in this version. Is this feature not available in Firefox 4?

I use this feature to view smaller fonts / e-mails frequently so will downgrade back to Firefox 3.x if it doesn't work in 4. This is the same feature that you would use on an iPhone for instance to enlarge the screen view. Also, I am a running the very latest version of Mac OS 10.6.7 but it also didn't work on the prior version (10.6.6 I presume). Thanks for any help.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.
