Something happened with Firefox where all that comes up when I open Firefox are my toolbars and a place to enter a URL, but there is no window. I have to enter full screen mode to view websites. How do I get back to a regular browsing window? I have no idea how this even happened.

    Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
    Thank you.

  • Safari has stopped allowing me to enter full screen mode. Why?

Safari will not allow me to enter full screen mode. This is a new occurrence as it has always worked before. When I either click on the two arrows on the top right of the browser or go to View > Enter Full Screen the browser makes a sound and remains the same. How do I fix this problem? And why would this have happened in the first place? Thank you.

First try resetting Safari by clicking "Safari", then "Reset Safari..." in third section. Make sure everything is checked except for saved passwords, auto fill or history/top sites for they are unnecessary. If this doesn't work, try emptying the cache by clicking "Safari", "Empty Cache...", then click ok.

  • How to enter full screen mode in email?

Can we enter full screen mode when reading an email in landscape mode? I can see safari has already provide this feature. It is really useful for reading  wide pages using iPhone 5 with a longer screen. But I don't know how to use this feature for email. In landscape mode, there are 2 email menus plus the system bar, which occupy too many screen. Any idea on how to enter full screen mode?
    Thanks.

Ok, hope this will be added in the next release.

  • Can the Parameter Enter Value screen size be adjusted?

I have a report that will have up to 4 to 5+ different individual Parameters that will require the users to populate.
Since I am using a larger number of parameters the Enter Value screen size is small and not all of the parameters are displayed on one screen.   the users are required to scroll down in order to see and populate the other Parameter selections.
Is there a way to adjust the default size of the Parameter enter Value screen that the end users will see when using the Cyrstal Report Viewer?

Try Service Pack 3, if still not then it's likely the type of parameters you are using.
Bottom line is if there is no option to change the size of that window. I believe someone asked for this and I entered it in as an enhancement request. Some future version may eventually have the ability to auto-size.
At the top of this forum you'll see a Feature Request link, add your suggestion there, search first though in both of the links.
    Thank you

  • "Enter Passcode" screen not showing the dots for key press

I've a passcode that is 6 characters long. When I slide to unlock my phone , the "Enter Passcode" screen comes up as normal, but sometimes when I try to enter my passcode in the white box, though the key press turns blue under my finger tips as normal but nothing (no black dots) is entered into the white box. Whenever this happens I'm not able to unlock my phone with the passcode and I've to power off and power on the phone to detect the passcode.
Not sure anyone else having the same problem as mine. If anyone encountered the same problem and know how to fix it, please help me.
    Thanks!

I have two iPhone 4S both with iOs7 and simple passcode. One had the dots, the other didn't. I went through changing settings on the one without dots to match the settings to the one with dots one at a time until they came on.
For me the exact change was turning on the Auto Brightness setting.
    Settings > Wallpapers and Brightness > Auto-Brightness
Perhaps it's the same bug for complex passcodes? Worth a try.

  • OPEN FIRM WARE SCREEN, ENTER MAC-BOOT COMMAND, GETS WEIRD SCREEN, ......

HELP- HELP- HELP-..."OPEN FIRMWARE/WON'T START-UP".....( IT WAS RUNNING, BUT DIED LIKE THE CORD WAS CUT )....G3 B&W 400MHZ OS 9.2.2, BATTERY GOOD, STARTS UP TO "OPEN FIRMWARE" SCREEN, ENTER "MAC-BOOT" COMMAND, GOES TO A BLUE-ISH/PURPLE TOP 1/2, YELLOW BOTTOM 1/2 SCREEN W/SMALL-ISH (APPROX. 2") MAC FACE THAT THEN GETS ABOUT 5 FOLDERS (STACKED FRT. TO BACK) COVERING MOST OF THE MAC FACE, WON'T GO BEYOND THIS WEIRD SCREEN, HAVE FOUND IMAC OPEN FIRMWARE COMMANDS I'M GOING TO TRY BUT DOUBT WILL WORK BEING THEIR FOR AN IMAC, I HAVE ALREADY DONE A TAP DANCE ON THE KEYBOARD HOPING TO STUMBLE ON TO AN UNKNOWN MYSTERY FIX COMMAND, ALSO DONE PRAM, CUDA, PROGRAMMER RESETS IN ORDER / OUT OF ORDER...AND SPOKE TO LOCAL MAC EXPERT REPAIRMAN, SAID HE'S NEVER SEEN SUCH A SCREEN...ANY IDEAS ANYONE ????..THANKS.. I WONDER IF IT'S BEYOND FIXING, IT'S NOT MY PRIMARY MACHINE & IT WAS NEAR FREE, BUT I HATE TO BE DEFEATED & TOSS IT TO RECYCLING. ....THANKS AGAIN...I'M AN EX-PORSCHE MECHANIC AND HAVE BEEN SELF TEACHING MYSELF ABOUT JUST OPERATING A MAC FOR 4 YRS., SO I'M NOT ALL THAT SHARP IN THE GEEK AREA......WAYNE146

Sorry about the "CAPS", old eyes & tired brain, + in hunt & peck typing method I forget to cap at start of new sentence.....I don't have camera capability at this time. I re-read my discription of the screen and it is worded very accurately, as I close my eye's and imagine the words I see this weird screen as described. When this first occured I tried booting from cd (holding c key down) 5+ minutes and nothing (x5). I pulled the battery a week ago to clear cache, also disconnected power sup. from mother board, hoping for a magical self healing effect from complete discharge of residual currents in board or cache. I'm going to try bring life back to it today. and try the Imac boot commands just for fun (?). I may have lacked the patience needed when doing CUDA, programmers resets, so I will approach with a more zen like mind set this time. Do you think I should re-type my original question in lower case, to get more responces ??....Thank you, All, And Thank you, Allen Jones, for the first responce.

  • Trying to enter a screen name

I am being asked to enter a screen name somewhere in photoshop touch but every name I answer is met with the message that the name is unavailable. What gives? I've tried about 20 names, all rejected.

No problem.  Photoshop Touch is a lot of fun to play with (I think) and makes a great mobile companion to it's big brother on the desktop.  It's surprisingly powerful and I think you'll find there are a lot of features packed in to it.  That said, tablet apps are a new thing for many of us, so don't feel bad if you get a little disoriented at first: there's new hardware, new operating systems, new terminology, etc. - we're all learning.
Once you have PS Touch installed on your tablet, the only place (that I know of) where it should prompt you for anything like a name is when you want to connect to the Creative Cloud - that provides a very handy way to move files between the Tablet and your desktop computer, so you'll want to explote that option. When you do, you'll need to "sign in" to the Creative Cloud using an Adobe ID (account) to access the Creative Cloud. If you have trouble with that, feel free to post a question here.
    Cheers and have fun.

  • Enter Passcode screen has appeared

All of a sudden this morning my iPod is asking for a password and I have not set one up! In the past I have used the passcode lock in the Settings menu but not for some time. The screen that has appeared now is a different one to the Passcode lock screen and entering the passcode that I used to use does not work. I've tried turning on and off but no joy. Any ideas?

If you have screen-lock passcode screen (you can have two, on for a simple passcode and the other where the keyboard one comes up), connect the iPod to its syncing computer and retore via iTunes.  If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode, place the iPod in recovery mode and restore via iTunes.  For recovery mode see:

  • "enter passcode" screen is misaligned

    hello everyone!
I got an iphone 6 64gb (iOS 8.1.2) five days ago. Today it started showing  following problem (see pictures below)
As you can see the "enter passcode" screen is not aligned with the screen borders and you can see the wallpaper from behind.
This misalignment can happen on all the sides of the phone and it seems to be random.
This doesn't happen everytime though, it usually happens when I rotate the phone just before I slide to get to the "enter passcode" screen.
The problem disappears when i turn on the Reduce Motion option from Accessibility
I have tried to turn the phone off and on again but the problem remains.
Any ideas on what i should do next?

  • Keyboard non-responsive on Enter Passcode Screen

    Hi,
When I attempt to unlock my phone from the Enter Passcode screen the keyboard responds to my touch, but doesn't register in the form for the passcode, i.e. the numbers and letters typed don't show up on the screen and the cursor remains in place blinking.  The Emergency Call icon is also unresponsive, outside of it flashing when touched.  I can get to the numbers and symbols screens.  Of course my power button has decided not to work so I can't simply power the phone off to remedy the issue.  This happened about a week ago and I solved the problem by upating the firmware.  I've searched some threads on here and Googled a bit, but no luck finding out the root cause of this particular error.  Anyone know anything about this issue and if there's a permanent fix or particular cause?  I had a 3GS 8GB previous to this 16GB and never encountered this issue...
    Thanks,

    Hi there Andy,
Tough to tell, but might be time to replace the PRAM Battery, 4 years is close to their lifespan, far less if ever without AC power, & can cause strange startup problems...

  • Downloaded iOS 7, Enter passcode screen lag

on iphone 5, just downloaded iOS7.  When I start up the phone the enter passcode screen works fine.  Every time afterwards when i unlock the enter passcode screen lags up to 10 seconds.  Thoughts or fixes?

I would try 3 things in this order:
Restart the phone, reset the phone, then reset all settings
    Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
And to reset all your settings, use this article.
