Screen Exit to disable Delete option in VL02N

Does anyone know how to disable DELETE menu option in second screen of VL02N <b> when the delivery are not PGID</b>??? Is there any screen exit or any way using which we can disable it.I guess transaction variant is one option other than screen but how to go about it ??? Can anyone pls help me out....

I could not find any relevant user exit also for this purpose.

As per my finding, you have to custom create event receiver to handle this situation. Use "ItemAttachmentDeleting" event to prevent user to delete attachment. Please refer below MSDN link to implement this:

Screen exit : Field disable Problem

I am facing a problem guys in disabling the screen field
In this screen exit ECSCC001 , i have created a push buttons and check boxes
ECSCC001 FI-CA Customer Contact: Sub screen Integration and Field Test
I am not able to disable those Fields using * loop at screen, screen-input = 0 .modify *
My requirement is to disable those fields depending upon the condition

have a look at transaction OLMRLIST and create a variant for
program SAPLFDCB
dynpro 0150
There you´ll be able to set field INVFO-LIFRE to "Display Only".
Later you will have to attach this variant to a transaction variant.

Disabling Delete Option in Context Menu

Hi Experts,
I have created a KM Navigational iView for a BO Repositry Folder and used 'BOBJELayout' Layout set for it.
Now in comtext menu i am getting all options like view , history , scheduling , Delete etc.
For administrator it is ok , but for end user, i want to remove or disable particular options like 'Delete'.
How to do it ?

problem is solved to some extent .In my scenario working with BO repository , i was unable to to control the context menu
( though i didn't try RS suggestion yet) from KM but it can be controlled from BO itself.
In context menu Delete option is getting displayed but its not working if user doesn't has sufficient authorization at BO side . So user will not be able to delete any report from his/her login which was the main concern. But How to hide or remove 'Delete' option
from Context menu is still a question.
I am keeping this thread open so that i can revert back with some solution for it or for your's solution.

MCKH - Disable delete option for particular version

Dear SD Gurus,
Our client uses MCKH to view sales information.
In this, SD user has created a version F601V under the standard version S601, to view "Part Sales" information.
Now he wants to disable the delete option for this particular version F601V.
The idea is that any other user should not delete this version by mistake.
There is a particular variant attached to this version & we tried to achieve this by checking the protect variant option.
However, system still allows deletion.
How this can be achieved?

Disable Delete option but enable edit option for a content item?

Hi,
Appreciate your input on this. The portal version being used here is 3.0.9.8.2.
I would like to have the following privileges setup for a content folder's items.
- one group can edit and delete items
- one group can edit but not delete items.
However looking at the access types available at the folder level - there are only "view only" , "edit style", "manage items", "own folder","create with approval".
The "manage" privilege is simply a catch all privilege. User can edit, checkin/out and also delete an item.
How do I prevent a user/group from deleting an item ? (or atleast disable the rendering of the 'X' delete icon?)
I did experiment with the audit option by enabling version control which is somewhat helpful in that I can preserve the older versions, but like above, I cannot enforce that.

Disable delete option from Monitor shopping cart role

Hi,
Currently when we check the SC details using the Monitor shopping cart option, the delete button is also activated. The person using monitor shopping cart can delete any SC with this option. Can we disable this Delete icon from the montior SC, we need to have that in display mode. Is it possible to acheive with the help of authorisation or how can we get this working.

How to disable or remove option "delete" in Xbox360 extender connected to Windows 7 MC?
After finishing watching a video, Media Center (windows 7) presents me with three options: "delete" "resume" "restart"
Supposedly kids or someone mistakenly pres delete, ignore warning and ,,,,,,, YOUR VIDEO IS GONE !!!. I have tried changing permissions, but no luck.

I was trying to solve the same problem tonight and couldn't find any solutions. After a few tries, I ended up with a solution. The key is taking away write access and setting the read-only attribute.
Steps:
Change security on movie folder
Remove inherited permission and choose option to set all inherited permissions locally
Change all user permissions to remove Write (That should remove Full Control and Modify also)
Make sure your own account is left with full control
Save security settings and replace the security settings on child folders/files
Right click movie folder | Properties
Check Read-Only so that it is checked and not blocked
The changes have been made, now test
Right click on a movie file | Verify read only and only your own user has access to write it.
Make a copy of that movie file outside of the folder
Attempt to delete the file through Media Center or an extender. When it prompts to delete, it will mention it is a read-only file. After clicking yes, it the delete will fail. If your settings don't
prohibit the delete, copy the file back and continue testing.
Note: Any new files copied into the movie folder will need the read-only attribute set.

Field/Screen Exit for MIRO

Hi Friends,
The client requirement is to fix an Exit to disable or inactive the field INVFO-LIFRE or to put the INVFO-LIFRE field (invoice party in Details tab) as display mode where the user not able to change it while posting invouces in MIRO.
I've tried by program screen enhancement in 'SAPLFDCB' but i couldn't able to fix it since the screen name of INVFO-LIFRE is not showing/coming while posting MIRO (checked in debugging mode).
Instead of fixing error message through BADI/USER EXIT, is there any way to make field/screen exit to disable or inactive the filed??
Please advise.
