Screen flickering after restoring

I've found the problem that annoys so much...
I've decided to restore my 5S due to some bugs. I've restored it from DFU mode to iOS 7.1.2 and noticed that screen edges are flickering. After 5 or 6 restores flickering decreased but still flickers a little bit. It doesn't seem to a hardware problem but I don't know how to fix it...
Any ideas???

If you have restored your iPhone to factory settings and the issue persists, then you need to look into getting your iPhone serviced.

If you have done all of the above i would call Apple care or setup an appointment at a Apple Store for them to diagnose and replace.

You had mentioned that since your Windows 10 Upgrade, it no longer works. Have you tried doing all updates (Windows, HP Support Assistant, BIOS)?Have you tried restarting the Notebook a couple of times?Have you tried to run the Windows Troubleshooter? Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating for Windows 10. The HP Support Assistant will also help find a proper driver for you to use. Updated Windows 10 drivers will become available on the HP Drivers and Downloads Page for your product. They will be released as they become available to HP. I did find a troubleshooting document for you called Touch Screen Issues. Although it does say it is for Windows 8, it will still work for Windows 10. Please follow the provided troubleshooting steps and re-post with the results. Have a great day!

TV screen flickers after connecting to HDMI cable with DV6 laptop

When i connect my ps3 to samsung LCD tv it works completely fine.  But When i connect my hp laptop to same tv. The screen start's to fliker after 2-3 mins. Tried different refesh rate's and resolutions. didn't work for me . Also updated my display driver but still same problem.  Many suggested that HDMI cable might be the problem. But if cable is problem how is it working with ps3 connected to same tv.  Help. PLZ

I understand that when you connect your TV to your HP laptop via HDMI the TV screen flickers. If you connect the TV to your PS3 it does not. You have tried different refresh rates and resolutions but there was no change. Your notebook has HDMI version 1.4 supporting up to 1920 ×1200 @ 60Hz as stated in the maintenance and service guide. Please note chapter 1 page 9 under Ports. HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide Have you ran the HP Support Assistant to try and obtain any HP updates? Have you done all your Windows updates? You can also manually check the HP Drivers & Downloads   page. You will need to input your exact model and follow the prompts to display your recommended software and drivers. Please note HP is doing some updates to their web site and you may need to try later to access the page. You could try a different HDMI cable just to rule that out. Screen flickering after 10.6.3 update

Am using a Samsung 22" SyncMaster monitor with my 2009 Mac Mini connected via VGA with resolution 1680 x 1050 at 60Hz and after 10.6.3 update the screen flickers allowing me to see the desktop for around 1-2 seconds. Its really annoying but the only way to get rid of it is if i change the resolution to 1600 x 1000 also at 60 Hz but everything is blurry!
I checked the monitor manual and its recommended resolution is 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz.
Does anyone else have this issue and is there a fix?!

Yes, I have the exact same problem.
I had this problem in 10.5.X as well. When I updated to Snow Leopard this went away. Now with 10.6.3 it is back again.
I worked around this problem in 10.5 by installing switchResX and playing around with the settings for the monitor... I haven't tried that in 10.6.3 yet.
I hope Apple fixes this soon. Being forced to use 3rd party software just to use the mac is unacceptable.

Screen flickers after boot camp 2.1 upgrade

I have been running boot camp 2.0 and WinXP for a few weeks on my iMac 24" 3.06 Ghz 4 Gb running 10.5.5. I had installed the nvidia 177.98 drivers and they improved gaming performance and work great.
I installed the boot camp 2.1 upgrade and the video drivers changed back to the boot camp 2.1 drivers. I re-installed the nvidia 177.98 drivers.
I now have two issues:
1. the monitor is listed as generic plug and play. Is there a driver for the iMac 24" display?
2. My room is dark so I use F1 to reduce the screen brightness. The whole screen flickers or flashes continuously. IF i have the brightness up near make the flickers or flashing stops. Anyone sen this or have any thoughts?
If i can't stop the flickering and flashing, I will eventually delete the WinXP system and re-create it and stick with boot camp 2.0.

Before you re-do everything consider other options.
This is the procedure for uninstalling and installing drivers. A program called driver sweeper is required. To uninstall your old drivers you must boot into safe mode, uninstall your old drivers, use driver sweeper to eliminate any remaining fragments of your driver and then install new driver.

In the future, you might want to use something to regularly backup, but for now, WinClone can take a full snapshot image for restore, and runs in OS X. DataBackupPC from Prosoft Engineering (Data Rescue II folks) or similar backup / cloning software (Acronis doesn't support GPT and EFI, so no Mac support).

Can't see home screen or anything on Apple TV. Did restore on iTunes. It said successful but still no picture.

If I understand correctly you are unable to see anything on your TV screen even after a restore of your Apple TV with iTunes. I would use the other troubleshooting steps to help find out what is at fault here:
Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation): Troubleshooting video issues
Your TV picture is completely black or has other quality issues such as static or blurry video
Confirm the settings and configuration of your television.
Check to verify that your TV's video input matches the HDMI connection.
Refer to the manufacturer's user guide for assistance with changing your TV input or picture mode.
Verify that your television meets the Apple TV minimum resolution requirements.
Verify that the Apple TV's power cable and the HDMI cables are securely connected.
When connecting to power, observe the front LED on your Apple TV for activity. If no light is visible, try a different power outlet or power strip.
Connect the Apple TV directly to your television, bypassing any home theater receivers, splitters, repeaters, or switches temporarily.
Inspect all cables for any kinks, tears, or other evidence of damage.
Verify that the HDMI cable being used with your Apple TV is a bidirectional cable. Although rare, single-direction HDMI cables do exist. If unsure, try flipping the connection between your Apple TV and television.
If all else fails, try a different HDMI cable.
Change the Apple TV resolution:
Press and hold the Menu and Up button on your Apple Remote for six seconds.
The Apple TV will automatically cycle to the next resolution at approximately 20 second intervals.
Press Play on the Apple Remote to keep the current resolution or Select to manually cycle to the next resolution.
Reboot your Apple TV by holding down the Menu and Down button on the Apple Remote for six seconds. Allow the Apple TV a few minutes to restart.

hello, I had no keyboard flickering issues back when my iPhone 4 was on iOS 6.0.1 then I updated to 6.1 yesterday and now I have apps crashing frequently and keyboard flickering? anyone else having the same issue after the update? any known solution?

I'm having the same issue on my iPhone 4 since yesterday when I updated to iOS 6.1 from 5.1.1.
After about an hour after the upgrade, it crashed/rebooted itself and went completely white/grey screen with a brighter white line in the middle. My power/sleep button was broke already, so I couldn't do anything on it. I left it to drain the battery for about 6 hours. During that time, the edges around the white/grey screen became darker and darker like burn-in effect. After it ran out of the battery, I connected the phone to the PC through USB and iTunes let me restore it to iOS 6.1 firmware I downloaded before.
The restore was successful, but the entire screen keeps flickering rapidly, not just a part of the screen.
Is it hardware or software related issue?? Any idea?

After only 4 hours of use just a black screen.
iTunes detects the iPad 2, all data on it , but it is just a black screen - after a restore and hard resets, the same!

Frozen login screen even after restore and reinstall

When I am starting my MacBook Pro 15" (Mid 2010) I often have a frozen login screen (where I enter my account password) and the only thing I can do is press for seconds the power button. I have already tried to reinstall MacOS X Lion and even a restore from my time machine back up but the problem still appears. Is there anyway to resolve this problem? And is it possible to erase everything and reinstall Lion ?

Yes a clean install will erase everything in your hard drive. Be aware you should have a clone backup (which I prefer) or a time machine backup so that the migration assistant can copy your user and all preferences.
if you mac already has lion installed you could
Restart your computer while holding the option key. After the startup chime you will see your available boot volumes. Choose Recovery HD. (You might be able to start up with command-r to boot directly into the Recovery HD emergency partition, but I have found that only the most recent Macs will respond to this key combination.) Once boot is complete, look under the menu bar's Tools for Disk Utility. Start up Disk Utility, choose your main hard drive partition, and reformat to your heart's content.
You won't be able to perform certain partitioning tasks when booted this way, but you can do nearly everything that you could do if you were booted from an external device or optical disc.
or another option is:
Make a bootable DVD or USB stick . I will guide you through the steps:
If you don't have a copy of the install mac osx lion.app redownload again from the app store
Before doing this you should make a clone of your hard drive or have a time machine backup at hand, that is a very important step.
1. right click or control click on the lion install file and select show package contents.
2. Navigate to Contents>Shared Support
3. Inside there is an dmg image called InstallESD.dmg
4. Burn image to a blank DVD or usb stick with program of your choice (USB stick works faster while booting).
5. Restart holding option key
6. Select DVd or usb stick you just made.

Desktop screen flickers after updating my nvidia GTX 680m driver on my MSI GT70!

Yesterday, I updated my MSI GT70 Dragon Edition's nvidia driver to the one suggested on my laptop'smsi page. Previously, It was running on the latest driver downloaded from nvidia itself (314.22) with no problems whatsoever. But I thought I'd give the msi's official driver a try, to see if it was better. The whole day, the laptop worked fine, even after restart, but after starting it and logging in today, the desktop screen was black and flickering. There was an Flickering error window that can't be read but the title that says ".net framework 4 error"!
Now I've googled the problem, and I might have found the solution, but I need to boot it to safe mode first, and I'm not able to. So if you, please, could tell me how to boot my GT70 to safe mode. Note that I'm not able to reach the "Run" window since the screen is black, and the laptop keeps restarting.

Anyways, I solved the problem!!
I knew that the problem was caused by the driver update, so I decided to connect an external LCD monitor, and the desktop screen showed right away on it. I was curious, so I disconnected that external LCD monitor to see if the laptop's screen went back to normal, and it DID!!! Anyhow, I immediately reconnected the LCD monitor to completely delete the corrupted driver (v314.22) and reinstalled the same driver again...
And by the way, the suggested way of approaching the safe mode when the PC is not normally functioning did not work, whatsoever! I sat for at least two consecutive hours trying it.. in vein!

I recently installed Premiere Pro CS6 in my PC. Then after I set up dual monitor in the Preference, the screens of both the monitor started to flicker until I stop the playback. Previously I used same hardware with CS5 but there were no problem.

X1 Carbon screen flickering after Win10

Hi all,I have a big problem.Today I updated to Win10 (and by chance, also get the new BIOS). After several of these updates, I have noticed several problems. The Lenovo software installed are not responding as they should (they do not see that Win is updated, they keep reinstalling and several other flicks).However, my big problem is that, after waking from sleep or hibernation mode, the screen starts to flicker wildly, and at some times even goes black. I am not able to do any work. This does not happen however when I reboot; but the first time I put the unit to sleep, the problem starts.Does anyone have the same problem? Is it a Win10 or BIOS problem? Does the screen driver need to be updated for Win10 after the sleep/hibernation? Any ideas?

I also noticed this issue, although on my new x250. It happens most noticeably during the logout/shutdown screen, but also appears to brighten/darken sporadically when it's just sitting idle as well. Parts configuration: 20CMCTO1WWOperating system: Windows 10 Pro (with Hyper-V enabled) I also did reload drivers and utilities from lenovo's support page for my system (all 64-bit) , and it still happens. Maybe it's caused by some confilct in the Power Management Drivers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
