Screen Flickering using firefox last version

Just noticed my screen was flickering while scrolling any pages.
I tried activating and deactivating the hardware acceleration and stills the same.
Im using firefox last version and this issue doesn't happen with Internet explorer.
I also have problems with flash from time to time where the solution is simple disable it or restart firefox.
I also have flash last version.

For now it seems is gone.
And disappeared after I unistalled Java script and reinstaled it.
Hope it helps someone too.
Thanks.

  • Ubiquity complement for Firefox last version. When will it be available?

JDownloader asks me to load Ubiquity complement but it is unavailable for Firefox last version.
Do you have any idea when it will be available?

    Excellent!
Can this be downloaded from OTN?
    At http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/bpel/index.html
I only see: "Oracle BPEL Designer for Eclipse 3.0"
Or did you try and use BPEL Designer for Eclipse 3.1, using that version and was fortunate enough to get it working ;-)

  • Screen flickering in Firefox

I have Firefox 16 installed. For some reason, my screen flickers in this. A Firefox rep said disable hardware acceleration.
Well, that rep needs to know first hand that it didn't work. My screen flickers a lot. I don't want to change browsers.
How do I fix this? It's an annoying bug.

Are there special conditions like plugins being used when that flickering happens?
You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
*downgrade the Flash player to version 10.3 or 11.2

  • Cannot type anything in TextInput using Firefox Mac Version

    Hello,
I tried to practice the example in the chapter 12 of Flex2
    Getting Started Document.
It is fine using IE, Firefox (Windows), and Safari, however I
can not type anything in the TextInput through Firefox Mac version!
It is also fine when I directly open the SWF file.
Does anyone know what's happened ?
    Thank you very much !

Some have reported that pressing F9+Windows one or more times has worked to fix issues with the keyboard not working.

  • Fx5200 VTD128 Screen flickers using video in?

Hi, I just installed a MSI FX5200 VTD128 video card on a ASUS A7N8X deluxe motherboard. I used the MSI Utility to download their latest drivers. I am running WinXP. The problem I have is I run the video out from my satelite receiver to the composite video in on the video dongle. Using the MSI media center Watch TV mode the screen flickers and is almost unwatchable. I also tried hooking my VCR to the same input and had the same problem. I plan to get a better patch cable but anyone have any other suggestions?
    Thanks

I had the same problem with my 5600VDTR 128Mb, it seemed to be a conflict between the 2.03 (msi) wdm drivers an the 45.23 (NVIDIA) VGA drivers.  Using the msi 45.33 drivers cured it for me.
However, I am now using the latest 2.13 VIVO drivers from Nvidia with the new Forceware 52.16 nvidia graphics drivers and everything works great!

  • Unable to open and or click onto any upper portion of my screen while using firefox, even after i updated it. but under explorer...i do not have this concern/problem.

it happens EVERYTIME i try to use firefox, tried rebooting, tried to delete java interely and still same thing. i just added java again and still same results, but only under firefox. i am stationed in the middle east/deployed so finding a computer store is out, and only certain military websites are preferred under your firefox, so it is time-sensitive as well.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause this issue. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

  • I can't login google's gmail even using firefox latest version, even I turn all cookies on. please help.

My firefox version is: 15.0.1. I can go to the Google's gmail page, but can't log in. I was asked:
"Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on. [?]". I follow the direction to turn cookies on. It is already on, but still can't log in since I got above message again. Why?
    Thanks,

    Hi There,
Thanks so much for getting back to me. Yes, all three of those boxes are checked. Literally nothing changed between when everything was working, which has been for months, and when it all of a sudden stopped, which was earlier today. I just suddenly couldn't do anything or open either account. Now I can open my regular Gmail account at least occasionally, but everything takes about a year and a half and just says Still working...; I still can't open the work account at all.
I don't know what I was supposed to see when I clicked Show Folder, but I tried to follow the instructions at the link about corrupted cookies and neither of the two files I was supposed to be looking for were anywhere on the screen, so I couldn't delete them. The whole thing is just inexplicable and I'm helpless.
    Thanks again.

  • I am able to login Twitter but can't tweet anything on my desktop using Firefox' latest version. However when I use IE9, I have no problems using Twitter?

I have cleared cache, cookies and history and still doesn't work.

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • How can I magnefy the screen when using firefox

I have seen in other Browsers that you can magnify the screen by choosing 100% or 150%, etc.
Please how can one do this in Firefox.
    Thank You

    See this:
    https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom
The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.
Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965
Or the NoSquint extension: <br />

  • On my work pc only, I cannot click on links in the upper part of the screen while using firefox. This "dead area" affects only about the top 20% of the page, while below that I can click on all links.

This does not happen on my laptop computer or on any other program my work computer runs.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • How can i uninstall mozilla firefox last version? please help

  • I have the last version of firefox (10.0.2) on Mac OS 10.7.3 but often i receive this message: "your browser is outdated". Recently, i noticed that google analytics reference my visit on my own website in "browser stat" as Firefox 3.5.5. Any suggestion?

Also i use the last version of firefox, i receive sometimes the message that it is out of date. Google recognize my browser as version 3.5.5

Indeed, the useragent showed version 3.5.5 when typing "about:support" in the adress bar of the navigator:
    general.useragent.override
    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; fr; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 FBSMTWB
So i reseted the preference as suggested:
    Reset general user-agent
type about:config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
if you see the warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
    Filter = general.useragent
items in bold and that indicate user set; right-click that preference and select Reset
restart Firefox (File > Restart Firefox)
And now it seems that it works as the user agent tured to :
    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2
    Thanks a lot!

  • I am using Firefox 22.0 beta version. After the update everything is zoomed in.How do i revert this?

I have been using firefox beta versions mainly and before ver 22.0 pages displayed zoomed out as default with small text the resolution was that of my desktop at 1920X1080 it seems. After the update the text pages open zoomed in and dialog boxes bigger.Im very uncomfortable with this.Is there way to set all pages to open in a zoomed out format by default.

That is caused by code for HiDPI that landed.
You can modify the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and increase or decrease the value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps to adjust the size of fonts and other elements in Firefox.
    * The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) more precisely (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).
    * You can use values between 0.05 and 1.0 to reduce elements in size or use values greater than 1.0 to magnify and make elements larger (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).
If the web pages needs to be adjusted after changing this pref then you can look at Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint.
    * Default FullZoom Level - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/6965
    * NoSquint - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/2592

My computer clock and date is correct and i have tested out all plugins that they are updated. Also did a scan on all viruses and spyware nothing there any help please.

Sorry, I didn't look at all the images.
You can see that the certificate is issued by your security software (Firewall): ESET SSL Filter CA<br />
So you will have to disable that filter or install the ESET root certificate that chains to that certificate.
