Screen Flickering while using screen

I am using tilda in openbox.
Until I enabled "Double Buffering" in tilda, I was facing the same flickering issue in tilda too. By flickering, I mean that suppose I open a frest terminal in that & then I press BACKSPACE, I get a flicker in screen window.
I have tried opening screen in gnome-terminal too, same problem.
I really want to use screen as complete replacement to tabs, but this flickering issue is holding me back. Any solution?

Screen flickers while using external display

while using my macbook pro with an external display (my sony LCD TV). the external screen (TV) flickers. it goes black for about a second then comes on. it will happen about 20 minutes into watching TV and happens more often the longer i watch. for example i just finished watching a 40 minute video podcast it happened at the halfway point then more often - about 10 minutes later then 5 minutes later - then 2 minutes... the final minutes of the show it happened about 3 times before the end.
any help? any ideas? i suspect (though i can't prove) it has to do with the setting for the external display.

Can you run memory diagnostics ? Download a pre-compiled bootable iso from http://www.memtest.org/ down the page and make a bootable CD. Boot to this CD and run RAM diagnostic for a couple of hours, maybe overnight, and see if your laptop has RAM errors.
If you have no RAM defect after the long test above, then uninstall all ATI/AMD gfx card drivers in Programs and Feature in Control Panel. Now go to Device Manager and disable your gfx card, putting a checkmark in the box Uninstall drivers for this hardware. ( Please note this operation will not harm your computer. Windows will redetect your gfx card after restart. )
Restart as required by Windows 7.
You may have to disable and then enable the gfx card in Device Manager several times until you are left with VGA drivers only. ( Computer gurus suggest using a Driver Sweeper/Driver Cleaner program. But I do the driver cleaning chore myself. You may go to C:\Windows\System32\DRIVERS folder and manually delete Atikmpag.sys, Atikmdag.sys drivers. )
Now you can re-install the ATI/AMD drivers that you have downloaded from hp suppport.

N70 Screen flickers while typing message

I have bought Nokia N70 Music Edition 3 days back but i am noticing that the screen flickers while typing the message.
The screen flickering that occurs while typing a msg does not occur when i m using any of the nokia builtin themes...but when i m using the themes which i have downloaded from www.zedge.net, the flickering while typing msg takes place...i had installed the themes in mem card, but i have also tried installing them to phone and then checking the theme, but still the flickering occurs. The theme installation puts some application called OWN SKIN ANIMATOR in the startup of my mobile. It has something to do with the animation of the theme, although i have tried exiting the application and then testing the msg flickering, and it STILL occurs ...can u please suggest a solution or tell me some good themes or a good site to download themes for N70 ME.
P.S. I have been downloading themes from www.zedge.net for quite a long time and it has never created any problems on my previous phones i.e. Nokia 5200 and 6300

Screen flickering when using camera

Has anyone had any problems while using the camera on the iPhone 5C where the screen flickers and a pink band appears across the bottom half off the screen. The camera then becomes frozen and you have to end the task to be able to take any further photos.

UIImagePickerController Custom Overlay Black Screen issue while using Video trimming controller

I have problem while opening camera in recording mode using UIImagePicker Controller with custom overlay and it should open first time properly .But when i push to next view controller and return back again to open camera at that time camera displays black screen for few time.
The Logic in the inside view controller is for VideoTrimming . For video trimming i have used "SAVideoRangeSlider" controll. SAVideoRange Silder perform task to get all thumbnail images from video which i have assign . It uses AVAsset image generator class provided by apple to get image frames from videos and it runs in background using its handler method.
Handler Method ::

Screen flickers when using magnetic lasso

Hello,
First I want to say that my english is kinda crappy so, sorry for that.
My problem is, when i'm drawing a line with the magnetic lasso tool, after a few seconds the screen flickers one time and my line is a selection.
Same with the color picker, when I hold my left mouse button to choose a color it flickers and is "Not responding".
I'm using CS4 and Windows 7

There were several issues with mostly the MS InteliPoint drivers, but also some of the Logitec SetPoint drivers, causing just such behavior in Adobe programs' GUI. In those cases, just removing either the InteliPoint, or SetPoint drivers, as has been mentioned, cleared things up. Going back about two years, I'd guess that three releases of the InteliPoint drivers did this horribly. It seemed to have been fixed with later releases, but recently showed back up in both the PrPro and AfterEffects fora.

Can't use my screen saver while using front row for music?

When I work I have my computer on the desk next to me, usually I have music playing and my very large image library running through my screen saver. I used to be able to start up my music using the remote, going through front row. I'd start up the music and back out. It would just return to my screen saver at that point.
Now when I try to do that, I can't back out of front row without also backing out of my music. It's kind of annoying... I mean, I can just start up itunes and go from there, but it was a nice function that I really got used to.
Does anyone know of a setting that I can adjust that would allow me to do this again?

The way it used to work, I'd already have my screen saver running, I'd open front row from my remote, and just start up itunes through that. I'd never actually see the itunes app because it would just open on the toolbar. As soon as I backed out of front row it would automatically go right back to the screen saver while still playing my music. All from across the room.
Now I have to go over to my computer, open up itunes, start that up, windowshade it to the dock, then hot corner my screen saver again. All sitting right at the desk.
It was a nice convenience. I don't understand the loss. At least give us the option to open it in the background in preferences. I've always appreciated the fact that Apple let us use our computers the way we like. This just seems counterintuitive.

Is your iPhone storage capacity full or close to it?
Try a reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release. A reset is similar to computer restart.

Screen Flickering when using flash Player after suspend

I've got a Samsung R40+ a pretty old Laptop everytime I set him to suspend and wake him afterwards the Screen flickers as soon as I use Flash player. I'ts mainly black and white stripes flashing across the screen especially bad when I watch Videos in Fulscreen. This happens with the Flashplugin aswell as with the Pepper-Flash in Chrome.
This has been an Issue Forever even back when I used Ubuntu I just Ignored it and never Let My Laptop suspend but if there is a solution I would love That.

Flickering while using MSI gaming app with MSI motherboard+MSI Nvidia 970

As title, I am experiencing flickering when using MSI gaming app both in gaming and OC settings. When I close the app, everything is fine. I am not experienced in OCing, hence I'd be absolutely glad to be able to use MSI gaming app, and it worked with the previous version.

Photoshop CS6 - Screen flickering when using brushes with new MacAir 2013

A number of users experience severe screen flicker in Photoshop CS6 when using any of the larger brush type tools (cloning, eraser, brush, spot healing, burning, and dodging). As many on this thread are experiencing, it is awfull and unusable! The flicker is screen wide black boxes, sometimes the whole screen goes black. It only seems to happen when we put the cursor over the image to edit.
Hardware: MacBook Air 13", Haswell 1.7 GHz, 8GB, 512 SSD Software:
Photoshop CS6 v13.1.2 20130105.r.224, OS X v10.8.4 (and perhaps others)
Looks like a CS6 is not compatible with teh new MacAir. Please look into this and advise.

An update:
I went to the Apple store and brought myself a more recent MacBook Air (13", 4/256 FYI, they were out of the 8/512 model). I can't reproduce *exactly* what you're showing, but got the flicker to happen by resizing the cursor. Also, while painting, the screen seems to stop updating except for the cursor -- not only is Photoshop unable to draw, but other applications stop drawing as well. And a few times it hasn't even updated the cursor (while all other apps seem frozen). That's not normal.
When I see the flickering, I frequently see the menubar and other UI elements draw at the wrong location on the LCD, then black, then redraw in the correct location -- repeat in different positions and lots of "static" until I stop changing the cursor. That's more evidence of a hardware or and odd driver issue. The odd thing is: it doesn't happen all the time. It's possible that the one we have at the office also shows the problem, but we didn't test long enough.
I'm trying to reach out to my hardware contacts at Apple - but it's a weekend before a holiday, so we may not make progress immediately.
One thing that would be useful here: the model of MacBook Air that you have that shows (or doesn't show) the problem.

HT3924 iTunes not working anymore while using screen in Target Mode

Hi, I use this feature a lot when working from home, as my company laptop is only 12.5" it's nice with the 27" screen. This has always worked out great, but recently (not sure if it started after Moutain Lion upgrade), I'm not anymore able to listen to my iTunes music (running in the background), when moving to "target display mode".
Immediately after pressing cmd+F2, and moving to external mode, the music starts skipping...
It happens with iTunes, Spotify, MPlayerX...
I tried to turn off "always put harddrives to sleep while possible" but this didn't help.
I tried to listen to music stored on different HDDs, didn't help.
Anyone found a fix, or need to wait for new OS update?

Hi, Hilary. The backlight in your Powerbook's display isn't working. That's most likely caused by an inverter failure, rather than a failure of the backlight itself (which is very rare). The inverter supplies power to the backlight, and sometimes it just fails. Repairing the hard drive won't fix it, and closing the display while loading pictures from a camera didn't cause it. It just failed, and now it needs to be replaced. Don't bother with any of the FireWire Target Disk Mode stuff you've been trying — just take the machine in for service.

Occasional black screen unexpectedly while using my iMac.

I've had three or four occasions in the year since I've had my new iMac (27") when the screen has gone black unexpectedly. It takes several mouse clicks or taps of the Escape key to get the screen to come back - any thoughts (it is not the screensaver cutting in)?

If you have just been using the iMac and it then suddenly goes black, you have a probable hardware problem. Software, other than the screen going to sleep due to computer inactivity for a while, would not create a black screen.

I bought my Z3 last week from Sony World, Indira Nagar, Bangalore! Having a worst experience in my life with a Sony product. The problem I'm getting is a flickering screen which completely goes white-blank with colour grains while typing. This is happened about not less than 10 times while typing this message so far. This is there from the first day itself. I thought it's a one off. This is happening consistently! It is happening whichever place I go. Please provide a solution or replace my Z3 in good faith. I!very been a Sony Phone user since year 2000. I've spend about Rupees 50,000K, in India it's a lot of money. To give you a perspective, This is a moths Salary of an average middle class person. SCreen Different While using LSMW

While doing recording in LSMW using t.code XD01-customer create i am getting a screen where the first filed is customer then company code but while processing the batch input it goes to a different screen where the first filed is account group why is it happening?

Are you using a transaction variant for XD01? my XD01 online transaction has as well the account group as first field.
the standard object for customer master load is as well in the fist step of LSWM, right above the recording section.
Press F4 und you will usually find it immediatly among other entries in the first page.
