Screen has blue/red squares

Hello, when I use Mozilla blue/red squares appear on the screen. They are not always present. See the attached screenshot. Thank you for your help.

Bring your phone and $199 to the Apple store for an out of warranty exchange of your phone.  You clearly broke it when you dropped it.

  • I start the computer the screen has blue vertical stripes and says that the Adobe Air application can not be found. Some of my programs don't run and say: You: Error access violation at 0x0055F525

I start the computer the screen has blue vertical stripes and says that the Adobe Air application can not be found. Some of my programs don't run and say:
You: Error access violation at 0x0055F525. I reinstalled Adobe Air. No change. I went to the Adobe webside and they said to repair it with a program. I bought RegCure. Didn't change anything. What to do?

Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
This happens the same whenever I try to install.
To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
My plugin is still showing as out of date.
Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.

  • My iPad screen has a red tint

My iPad screen has a red tint, anything I can do to fix this?

I'm not the greatest when it comes to taking care of my iPad, that being said. I've dropped it a few times. I've had this issue, it can be easily fixed by holding down the home button and power button for at least 30sec. If this doesn't work then repeat. This has worked for me in the past and my iPad works just fine. By doing this your resetting the LCD. Hope this helps!

  • My screen has a red tinge to it, Is it going dead?

My screen has a red tinge to it. I it going dead?

Usually an indicator of impending hardware failure. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

  • Satellite L15 the screen has a red/pink tint

When i power on my toshiba Satellite L15 the screen has a red/pink tint and then about 2 min later it is fine untill the next time i power on the computer is this the screen it self or the inverter?

    Hi
Its not easy to say if its screen or FL inverter issue.
FL inverter controls the screen backlight and usually if the FL inverter start malfunctions, then you will see pictures on the screen like behind a thick fog.
So possibly its screen issue but this is just an assumption.
However, FL inverter is not very expensive but the notebook screen is one of the expensive notebook parts so Im not sure if its worth to replace the screen and to pay 200-300 Euros for the fix

  • New music will not sync to my iPhone 4, and music that was previously synced but was added to library through a CD will not play and has a red square and is grayed out.

I use iTunes on my family iMac, my iTunes, I believe, one update below the current software any my iPhone is on iOS 7.0.3. Music purchased through iTunes syncs correctly and will play properly. Songs that I have obtained through CD's, however, are now grayed out and have a red square with a circle around it. When I click on the song, it will cycle through my library until it can play a song. iTunes will also not restore songs that I have removed from my iPhone but are in the cloud. Is there any possible way to fix this issue? Everything has been working fine until iOS 7 and the new version of iTunes. Thank you for your time!

I am so relieved to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this! However, I am sorry to hear you are going through this as well. Lucky for me I am upgrading to a 5s which will be sent to me on Wednesday. I did stumble upon an article with tips on how to downgrade back to iOS 7, but I am EXTREMELY apprehensive about doing that myself. Here's the article link if you want to give it a go:

  • My screen has a red line and flickers when on for very long.  What can I do?

A thin red (sometimes blue) line appears horizontally half way up my screen.  When left on, the screen begins to flicker.  At that point I turn it off for fear that it will do more damage.  I have completely shut down and synced.  The problem is still there.  What can I do, short of sending it in for repairs?
Is this a common problem?  Can it be fixed easily?  If it has happened to you, what did you do and how long did repairs take.
BTW, this is an 8 GB 4th generation iPod Touch, purchased new through Apple last spring.

To rule out a software problem try one at a time in order:
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore the iPod from backup via iTunes on the computer
    - Restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod
If still problem, either make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call AppleCare (1-800-MY-APPLE) for warranty service.

  • My IPad 2 screen has gone red. Thoughts on what might be causing the problem?

The screen on my IPad2 has gone to red. I still am able to use it but the colors are all off. I have heard it might be the graphic card, but before I take it back to the Apple store I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how you resolved it?

It probably needs to be replaced.
You can try restoring it. If that doesn't do it, take it to a Genius.

  • My screen has blue strips on it. What is wrong?

Has any one else ever had this problem? Any ideas how I can fix it?
    Thank you

clintonfrombirmingham the 3 year warenty has just run out so it must be a 2009 or 2010.
mende1 are you saying that there are no blue lines on the screen shot? I am no expert at all so would this mean that the actual computer is fine it is just the screen is not displaying the image correctly?
Thank you all for you help so far.

  • My iPhone screen has blue lines

I dropped my iPhone just a few hours ago, but didnt check its condition. A few hours later, when i turned my phone on, the screen was grey with blue lines. I could still hear the lock sounds and could feel the vibrations when someone called.
    HELP MEE PWEASE!!!

You broke your phone.  What help do you need?  Bring it in to Apple (along with $199 if you didn't have AppleCare+) for out of warranty exchange.

  • Screen has a red hue (iPad1)

    Hello.
I've got a noticable red hue on the screen of my iPad1. It is clearly visible (even more when there's another ipad side by side) and it drives me mad.
Is this a well known issue and am I eligible for an exchange? I saw a few people reporting a red hue months ago and they all had their iPad exchanged in Apple Stores.
Unfortunatly, there are no official Apple Stores in Belgium, so I may have to send it to the repair service for days before getting an answer.

    Hi,
If you haven't tried the Apple online Brussels/Belgium store, click here.
Click Contact bottom right corner of that page.

  • 15" MBP screen has blue tinge after wakeup from screen saver

I've had a recent problem with having a blue tinge to my laptop display after wake up from the screen saver. The screen saver is the iTunes cover art. When the screen saver is active and I clear it (mouse movement or keyboard), I get my login screen. After entering my password, the screen turns a blue shade. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a solution. I'm currently running Leopard 10.5.8 with all software updates on a late 2008 15" MBP.

Yea I had this problem a while ago - I think it's because of iStat Pro - are you running that widget in your dashboard? Either delete it or if you still want it - you can go into preferences and click on displays and the screen will automatically color correct itself - but you have to do this every time it wakes up.

  • My screen is bickering red instead of black. It is something to do with the image becuase it comes up as red bickerings. Can you please help me?

Everytime i use my ipad, it has a red colour that i cant fix becuase i dont know what it is, please help me.

This issue has been around for a while, if it is what I think it is. If your iPad screen has a red background, users have been dealing with it and "fixing" it by tapping/slapping the iPad on the back of the device.
Look at this ongoing discussion about this issue,
