I would apprecite very much if somebody could explain me how to use a Screen Help component.

There is not much to the inline help component. It is just like a static text field with some style automatically applied. Here is what the Delving Into Components tutorial says (http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/about_components.html):
You use the Inline Help component to display short, help-type information on a page. Typically, you set the component's type property to field so that the help is in a smaller font and doesn't take up too much real estate.

Do what you are being told. Plug the phone into a computer running iTunes and restore the phone.

My ipod touch 5 is frozen on the lockscreen and i cant do anything except restart it and that doesnt hekp. will getting a new screen help? or is there another, less exspensive way? also, it is not connected to wifi.

I need to fix my ipod and i don't know how, i am hoping that if i leave it alone over night that it will fix itself,
its on the lock screen and i cant do anything with the screen, i tried restarting it and it didnt work, so because i restarted it, it is not connected to wifi.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod touch is disabled and has a passcode but it won't let me type in the passcode it's stuck on connect to iTunes screen help!!!!!

Try again placing the iPod in recovery mode. It can be tricky. The computer should say it discovered an iPod in recovery mode. Recovery mode bypasses the passcode (and erases the iPod). If not successful, try placing the iPod in DFU mode.

Passing parameter to an Input Help Component

Hi ,
Someone knows a way to pass parameters or any value to an Input Help Component that is built in a separate WDP application ?

I have a WDP component that implements "".
Then, i use it as search help (F4 function) for an input field in another WDP component.
I would like to use the same " search help component " for many input fields.
In this purpose, I would like to pass a parameter to specify the caller input field.
So, do you know a way to pass parameters to "the search help component" ?

PSE 9 Help Component

I am using Windows 7 & PSE 9, Editor. When I click Help>Photoshop Elements Help..., in the PSE 9 task bar I get the following vague message, "The Adobe Help application returned an unexpected error. You may need to re-install the application and the Help component."
I tried re-install twice and still doesn't work. The Help component was working at one time and I can't tell what I did to cause it to stop working????
Does anyone have any idea whats wrong.??????

Dump in Value-Help Component for date

I created a Value-Help-Component for date fields. (I cannot use the standard value help, because I need the help to start in the month, the user is working on).
I am using the Date Navigator to select a date.
If I first change the month with an arrow of the date navigator and then select a date I get a dump in the method IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT~GET_ATTRIBUTE_REF in line
attr_info = me->node_info->if_wd_context_node_info~get_attribute( name_only ).
, because the element does not have a node_info.
If I just choose a date in the preselected month (without using the arrows of the date navigator) everything is fine.
Does anybody have an idea??

I found the "solution" to the problem myself.
I used the method bind_structure in the component containing the date navigator.
After I replaced it by set_static_attributes it worked without producing dumps.
Very strange!

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

PSE 9 editor Help Component

The Help component of PSE9 Editor stopped working. Error message reads "The Adobe Help Application returned an unexpected error. You may need to re-install the application and the Help component."
I did as requested and problem still exists. Can anyone help.

Which operating system and locale are you using? I suspect that your help configuration file has been corrupted. Can you try copy-pasting(or attach) the content of your help config file? The location of help config file on my windows 7(x64 machine) is : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\HelpCfg\en_us\PhotoshopElements_9.0.helpcfg

I'd try the DVD on your computer and in another DVD player/TV to see if it's a TV setting or an iDVD issue.

To fix your Facebook app:
Go to "Settings"
Select "General"
Go to "Usage"
Find "Facebook" in the list of apps installed
Swipe across "Facebook"
Press "Delete"
Reinstall "Facebook"

Providing on-screen help in flash RIA application

Thanks for your reply. which file format i have to use so that the team who is creating help, can give me that file format. and i can access. usually .hlp file is using for standalone project. for web which file format is best to fetch help details.
The senario is, if i press F1 on textbox, it should give me a help from the help document and produce information about that field entry.
I am using flash builder to develop my application.
