Screen is dead. Need to access files.

The screen on my MBP is dead. It wont turn on, and I would very much like to access the files.
I havn't turned filesharing on, so I can't access it that way, and turning filesharing on seems to require using the mouse (I havn't found a way using the keyboard).
Any help is appreciated.

If you have access to another Mac and a FW cable, try FireWire Target Disk Mode.
Also, see if your MBP's behavior fits the NVIDIA issue.

I want to run an LSMW for direct input program RM06EEI0. This requires a logical file path. When I go to FILE transaction there is a TMP logical file path. The physical path assigned to this is <P=DIR_TEMP>\<FILENAME>.
Can I use this in my LSMW, and if so then please explain how.

hi, path in FILE is the folder in Application Server, not for your local PC.
in LSMW, if you want to use a local file, not need to search in FILE, just set folder in LSMW specify file step.

E63 dead. need to access memory

Hi, there has been a battery leak in my E63 that most likely permanently damaged the phone. the service centre already deemed it unfixable and now when i try to switch it on it vibrates, reaches as far as the nokia screen, keeps blinking then dies.
I'd like to know if there's anyway I can possibly access the data saved on my phone memory, such as contacts for example. I have a USB cable, but Nokia Suite would not connect to the phone in its current state. Any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot.

Did you try with the charger connected? I guess you must at least turn the device on to retreive data from the phone memory. If your data is very important to you I suggest you bring your E63 in at a Nokia Care Point.

Access files from Web Dynpro component

Hi,
I need to access files from a Web Dynpro component but I couldn't find any information. Has anyone done this?
My questions are:
1. Can I pack these files into the WD component so they can be deploy together?
2. And what API should I use to access these files?

There is another option if the Macbook will start up in Target Disk Mode.
Restart the computer while holding down the T key. If you see the firewire symbol moving around on the screen you can connect this one to another one in TDM. You will need a suitable cable to connect the two Macs.

Nokia X3 - screen's dead, I need to extract the co...

Recently, my X3's screen doesn't work any more, nor do the call buttons. I cant turn it off or on and the only thing that makes me guess that it's still working is that the keyboard lights up any time I slide it open. When I link it to nokia pcsuite the program at first starts working normally, but when I try to access the contacts list, it gives me this error message: "unable to modify USB mode, please modify USB mode from the phone", action that I cannot perform since the screen is dead and the buttons don't work. If they worked, I'd have tried modifying the USB mode blindly (it should be easy, since I just have to press the same button once or twice), but unfortunately I can't.
Accessing the phone from my PC is anyway possible, without using pcsuite: I can access its memory (which is E in my computer) and see these folders: "images", "others", "private", "resource", "Sounds", "sys", "System" and "videos", plus a single file named card_content.cid. Starting from here, can anybody suggest me a way to extract the contacts and save them on the PC? I don't need to put them inside another phone, I just need to have them in a readable format, with name and phone number.

Not sure what you mean by 'Call Buttons'.. but atleast the 'Navigation' button needs to be working to set the proper USB mode. As soon as you connect the phone press the Centre of the Navigation button as if you are selecting something from the Menu and check whether it gets connected in the proper (PC Suite) mode ...Else, it seems a bit difficult to extract the Contacts.
..and this is for Future action (for any new phone that you buy)
1.Back-up your data at regular interval. Especially after you add any important data.
2. Set the USB connection mode to PC Suite as default. (for Nokia X3-00 its thru' Menu-->Settings-->Connectivity-->USB Data Cable-->PC Suite). With this, even if the display is not working but the phone is, then it will get connected to PC where you can Back-up / Sync your data thru' Nokia suite..

Use Migration Assistant on your new Mac:
Click Continue:
On the next screen, choose your Time Machine backup disk.
Don't bother to migrate Applications unless you know they will work on your new Mac. For example, PowerPC applications won't work. Just migrate your user account which will copy all your photos, music, movies, and other documents.
Note: you will not be able to migrate the information to same account in which you are already logged in. Migration Assistant will tell you that and recommend what to do. It can migrate the information to a new account, but you will have to give it a name you might want to change later. One way around this is to create a temporary account, log in to it, and run Migration Assistant which will replace your normal account. Then, log out of the temporary account, log in to your usual one, verify everyting works as you expect, and delete the temporary one.
All this can be avoided when you set up a brand new Mac by running Setup Assistant which essentially does the same thing to create your new account, but most people are too excited to do that and elect to migrate later.

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

Depends, if you've synced with this iTunes, while that passcode was enabled, you won't be prompted to enter the passcode when connecting your phone. If you have not synced, while that passcode was enabled, you will. So, if you fall in the later, there is no way to do what you want.

You reformatted the drive in your computer. The backup files you want to access were overwritten when you re-formatted the drive. They are gone. There may be data recovery services that can get them back. Search google if you want. This has absolutely nothing to do with using an iPhone at this point. You deleted files on your computer...

During the activation process you were asked to set up a passcode. If you say no, it pops up a small notice, "are you sure you don't want a passcode, recommended". Do you remember entering a code?
if not, the only option is to restore the phone with iTunes And start over.
