Screen is frozen but I can hear music playing? Help, please.

I bought an 80GB iPod Classic about two months ago. It was working fine until this morning. I noticed that the screen is frozen; meaning I can hear music playing but the screen is frozen. And I can't pretty much navigate. It looks like it became an 80GB shuffle!
I tried everything, I think. From updating to restoring to resetting. Nothing works. The screen is frozen. Please help!

You broke your phone, dude. What help do you need? Nothing we can do. You need to bring your phone and $199 to Apple for out of warranty replacement.

You don't - you check your warranty status and have apple replace it for you. make sure you restore the phone as new first (after making a backup, of course) to see if the speaker works then. this isolates the issue to either your hardware or your software. if it's still happening after a restore as new through itunes, it means it's hardware that's the problem and apple will fix it for you

There might be something in the headphone jack, maybe lint, dirt, or something else in there. Try disconnecting the headphones and then adjusting the volume, does it say headphones?
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

I sounds like you may have the Accessibility features Voice Over and Screen Curtain enabled. Try pressing the home button three times quickly to disable these features. If that doesn't work, you can also manage the accessibility features via iTunes. Take a look at the article below for more information.

Whenever I attempt to watch a video of any sort full screen on Firefox my screen turns white but I can hear the video playing.

When viewing pics or videos in FireFox, when screen is enlarged to full screen, page turns white. While I can still hear audio, no picture. I have seen similar posting in problem questions, but solutions have all been closed out.

I have same problem when watching web video and going to full screen it turns white. Audio is still good. If I hit escape all goes back to viewing the video okay.
It occurs in Firefox 6.3 & 6.8.3, Internet Explorer 8, and Google Chrome. Windows Media Player WILL go to full screen okay.
I wished I could submit 2 pics: one of video and 1 of the white screen. But I can't so I'm just sending the white screen pic

My Ipad (4?) screen went black but I can hear it. I tried hitting both the sstart button and sleep button for 10 seconds and the apple icon comes up, my screen saver shows for 1 second and it returns to black screen again. I can hear SIRI. How do I fix?

I had been using the IPAD and all of a sudden it started talking back to me and when swiping apps to close them they would not close. She (the IPAD) kept talking back to me such as "use three fingers" etc. Then the screen went blank and if I touched it I could get it to beep at various touch points. SIRI would also communicate, but the screen stayed black.
As was suggested here, I tried getting a reboot by holding the sleep key with the home key and after 10 seconds the apple logo shows and 5 seconds later my screen saver comes on for just one second, and then it goes back to a black screen. SIRI tells me shes not available and someone else, must be her sister, says things like 90%, 85%, 80% if I continually swipe the screen. Can anyone help me?

This sounds like screen curtain may be enabled. Screen curtain is a feature that allows display privacy. To disable screen curtain while VoiceOver is enabled, you can three finger triple tap the screen to disable this feature. You may need to press the home button once in order to process these steps. Try a reset of the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for about 15-20 seconds. The white Apple logo should appear.
It this does not get the display working make him buy you a new iPhone.
Apple does not repair devices they replace them.
If the device cannot be accessed due to a passcode and the screen is non-responsive there is nothing that can be done.

My macbook pro screen went black and won't display back to the normal screen. When I turn it on I can hear the computer starting up and the keyboard light turn on but the screen stays black. What can I do? Help please!

Did you buy the Applecare extended warranty? If not then you will need to pay for whatever repairs need to be done.
You will need to take the system to an Apple store Genius Bar for a check up.

IPhone 4 - can hear music, but no other sounds

When I got up this morning, I had a IM message. I didn't access it right away, then went and took a few pictures. On the last picture I tried to take, my phone froze. I couldn't swipe to open and couldn't swipe to close. I finally got it to close by pressing the top button and the centre button at the same time. Now I have no sound when texting or sound when i send an email and can't hear my phone ring, but I can hear my music. Any ideas?

Make sure that "Do not disturb" is off in Control Center. Also, make sure you have turned the volume up while at the home screen and with no music playing.

Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

I have an Otter box on my iphone, dropped it in the sink (not full and only for a split second) my ringer works, but can't hear Siri, but she can hear and answer me. Can't hear music and can't hear when I put a call on speaker.

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

It's happened to me before as well. Try holding both lock(top right) and home buttons simultaneously until u see a slight flash of wight then just reboot it normally. If that doesn't work try restoring your device from itunes
