Screen is locked with picture of cable and ITunes logo
When I was syncing today, the computer said there qwas an error and the screen on the IPad is now locked up. This happend to me when I first purchased it in March. Any ideas?
Have you tried t reset the device? Hold down front button and top button 15-20 seconds. Ignore the slide to turn off. Your iPad will then reboot.

Ok so i'm on vacation away from my iMac I use to dock. My phone froze today and reset to the plug -> iTunes screen asking me to dock to my computer. It won't let me get past this screen and I will be needing to use the phone! Any help here? Am I screwed for a couple more days?

Hi, I have a problem with my ipad, I want to restore it but I can not. When I plug the ipad (off) it is not recognized by itunes, I turn the ipad, There are apple and the apple after you see the usb cable and itunes logo for just 1 minute and turns off and is no longer recognized by itunes.

There is no other way than to plug into a computer to restore the phone. You can use another computer to do so, but in case you did not back up to iCloud your data and settings will be gone.

I have been relatively patient - 3 hours on charge but all it does is show picture of USB cable and itunes logo. It it were charging you would think that a picture of the charge would come up to indicate status of charge - wouldn't you think?

when i finished downloading a usb cable and itunes logo appered so i plugged it in the itunes and it said i should take it out from recovery by restoring it.it took 3 hours but at last it didnt download what should i do?

and look for your iPad and download the latest firmware. When done downloading, make sure the file is in a easy place to get to. Then, go on iTunes and connect your iPad. Hold your shift key, and press restore. Locate the .ipsw firmware and restore. Make sure no programs are open during the restore proccess as it may interfere. -

my iPod touch was frozen for a several hours and whe i hooked it up to iTunes, it has the USb cable and iTunes logo. ITunes says i need to unlock my iPod, but i can't do that if it has the logos and stuff...what do i do?

I can't get my iPod touch to turn on to the home page. All it does when I turn it on is I get the apple symbol for a sec and then it shows this picture of a USB cord and iTunes logo with a CD. I had to disable my wireless to get my IPOD to be recognized by ITUNES. it got stuck in that same screen you describe. another thing you can try is connecting it to another pc that has itunes and then connect it back to the original pc. you will just have to overwrite the library when you connect it back to the original.

Itouch stuck on image with cable and Itunes logo
My cousin is making me ask this for his Itouch..
While he was updating his Itouch, his computer accidentally shut down.
So now, when he turns it on, it goes straight to the image of the Itouch connected to Itunes. Is there any way to fix this?
