Look her and it may give insite on what is missing. Otherwise:
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99. Likely not worth it for a your iPod. They do not fix yours.

  • HT1212 Is my screen supposed to change from the screen with the charger and the iTunes circle to my lock screen while it's in recovery mode?

Is my screen supposed to change from the screen with the charger and the iTunes circle to my lock screen while it's in recovery mode?

Is Find My Phone turned on, on your phone? If so, eject from iTunes, login to iCloud.com, locate your phone, then erase it.
Does the same thing...removes the passcode. Then, either restore from backup, or setup as a new device.

I have a late 2006 iMac that has just started giving me a message to reboot after a black screen comes down slowly from the top top of the screen to the bottom.  I reloaded software and restored from Time Machine, but it keeps happening, now several tomes a day.  Any insight as to the issue or a proposed solution?

Unplug any peripherals you have except your keyboard, reboot, and check activity monitor for apps.  Keep running apps to a minimum to find the App causing the issue.

  • Stroke path with brush from the inside

    Hey everyone!
I'm trying to stoke a path from the 'PATHS' panels but I want to stroke it from the inside of the path.
right now it's stroked from the center of the path.
I don't see an option to stroke from the center/inside/outside like in AI.
So how PS decide to stroke the path from the center? is there an option to change this?

I tried your idea and it seems to work fine
I made a selection from my path, and then Select>Modify>Contract
then I converted my selection to path again from the Paths panel.
and now I stroked the path with the grass brush, and this is the result:
R_Kelly, you get 10 points for you idea. thank you!

  • Allow VPN client to connect from the inside to another remote network

Hi, if I have a Cisco VPN client software on the inside of network and client is to connect to a remote network, over the internet. What ports need to be opened and on the outside interface/inside/both?
    Thanks.

Basically, all you need is UDP port 500, NAT-T will do the rest.
Connections are initiated from the inside and while everything is allowed in that direction, this should work by default.
If you have an access-list that limits traffic from inside to outside, you might need to allow this traffic.

my iphone 5c screen is popping out from the top right side , can i exchange it for a new one at the apple store ?

If it is still under warranty, and they determine it is a manufacturing defect, they will replace it. Be sure to back everything up before taking it into the Apple Store. That way, if you do get a new device, you will be able to set it up from the backup.

dropped ice cream on macbook. now the keyboard has become sticky. can i get it cleaned from the inside from applre store or or somewhere else?

If the ice cream as only affected the keyboard and not run onto other components they will perhaps suggest a new keyboard, I would be surprised if the could economically clean it up. If it as gone on the logic board then that is another problem.

    Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

I have an iPod Touch 4G and i noticed soon after i bought it that the screen was slightly separated from the back metal plate on the top right corner, and I didn't have any problems up until a few days ago. The touch screen doesn't work properly in most places, and that is getting very annoying! So, my question is, can I get a replacement and if so which model would i get, the 4g or 5g?( I'm a little confused about which one I would get IF I were to get a replacement.) I would like an answer asap please!

If under warranty and not abused Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one of the same mode.. Sorry, no upgrade.

  • Solving a maze with 4 exits from the inside

Hi, I'm working on an algorithm that solves a maze from the inside, and seeks out 1 of the 4 exits on the sides, and after getting 1, it goes to the next until it has them all. The maze is always 22x22, and you only have 400 steps. I asked my teacher about using a recursive method to solve it, and he said that is probably the best way to go. But, the catch is that you don't know where the walls are, and they change every time. The rat (I'm trying to get a rat to all four exits) starts in the 4x4 box in the middle that has between 1 and 5 exits (it's different every time a maze is generated). The rat can see how far away a wall is, and you are allowed to store the positions in an array if you wish. He can also build walls and get his current x and y position.
Here's an example of what a maze looks like:

  • Why does Logic only initially open on one of my monitor screens despite launching it from the other screen's dock?

I have a second monitor hooked up to my iMac.  How come when I launch Logic from the second screen's dock, it only ever launches in the primary iMac screen?  I thought Mavericks was all about screen independence . . .
I'm thinking about buying a 27" second monitor to replace my smaller one so that I have extra screen real estate for Logic, but if I can't launch Logic into it by default, I am having second thoughts.
    Any suggestions?  Thank you!
