Screen jumps from desktop to internet

I have HP Rove 20 Mobile AiO all in one PC. Since upgrade tp Windows 8.1 , often when I am in internet explorer or other browser, the screen jumps forward and backward to desktop. A few seconds on each screen and mouse will not work.
What to do?
Otherwise all is working ok.

But, the Express does not "extend" or "repeat" the wireless signal when it joins a network. In other words, wireless devices cannot connect to the AirPort Express the way that you have it set up.
If so can my Airport Extreme be set up to "join" my network and also extend the coverage of my network ?

The AirPort Extreme does not have this type of capability.
If you have both an AirPort Extreme and an AirPort Express.....my suggestion....again, found above in a previous post.....
It takes a minimum of two Apple routers to extend a signal using wireless.
You could do this by connecting the AirPort Extreme to your cable router using a permanently installed Ethernet cable and then configuring the AirPort Extreme to "create a wireless network".
Then add an AirPort Express in a location where it can pick up a strong wireless signal from the AirPort Extreme and configure the Express to "extend a wireless network".
You would not use the wireless on your cable router at all, unless you wanted to reserve that network for guests or something similar.

Safari screen jumps from small to large

My safari screen view jumps from small to medium and clicking the mouse makes it go larger then clicking around several more time make it go back to normal. Is there a way to turn off the feature.

Mid 2009 13" MacBook pro mini-dp to Cinema Display screen jumps from blue to desktop

I'm using a kanex brand iAdapt mini-dp to dvi adapter to connect my macbook pro to my 23" cinema display from early 2007, but it seems like the macbook is having trouble recognizing that the display is connected. The screen will go blue for a second, then show the desktop, then go back to blue. it repeats like this for as long as the adapter is plugged in.
I've gotten the screen to connect properly twice, but as soon as I unplug my laptop and try to plug it back in another day, I run into the same issue as before. I've seen other discussions about screen flickering, but this isn't really a flicker. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, though it seems likely that this has happened before.
Any solutions? Thanks!

Quick Look Full Screen Issue from Desktop

I have an issue with quick looking files in full screen from a screen other than that which is occupied by the Finder.
Example, I have a pdf on my desktop, if I Quick Look it, it opens OK on all screens but if I try to go into full screeen from Quick Look it does not work unless I am on the same screen as the Finder.
On close inspection, this is because the Finder App options is set to 'This Desktop' (control-click on the Finder icon in the dock and choose Options). If I set it to 'None' then this issue cannot be replicated. Anyone think that this is an issue with Lion and Quick Look should not be written this way? This was initially confusing for me and I though that something was broken.

I remembered that there had been a slight bug in the Leopard Quicklook, so that if you went to full-screen QL, then used Command-Tab to switch to another program, then Command-Tab back to Finder, you would be back in QL Full Screen, but you could now navigate with the arrow keys. At first I thought this had been fixed, and started mucking about with other key combos and accidently got it going again. Took awhile to figure out exactly what I had done, but it works like this:
1. Select your file, hit spacebar and click the full screen arrows
2. Command-tab to some other program
3. Mouse click the toolbar or sidebar of the open folder with your file in it
4. You can now navigate with the arrow keys
Although I don't really see how this is better or easier than opening the folder, hitting Command-A, then bringing up QL....

i wrote code in this way.

I have already mentioned both ways, but ok, once again.
A. how I found parameter ID ANR:
1.) run transaction COR2
2.) set cursor to field "Process order"
3.) press F1 button
4.) performance assistant displays
5.) press "Technical Information"
6.) technical information displays
7.) in field "Parameter ID" you can see parameter ID assigned to a screen field
B. how I found parameter ID BR1:
1.) switch on debugger
2.) run transaction COR2
3.) put a breakpoint on "GET PARAMETER" statement
4.) debugger stops on every GET PARAMETER statement in PBO of COR2
5.) there you can see that BR1 is used for field AUFNR
Basically first mentioned way is sufficient, because system gets parameter value from parameter ID assigned to a screen element automatically. But in this case a value is overwritten by coding in PBO of COR2.

Apple PowerMac G5 Powers up Half way from desktop loading up screen goes

Hi All I have A Apple PowerMac G5, Just given free Powers up, i hear the apple chime, It starts to boot/load up, i can see the round spinning thing, happening, but then just about Half way from desktop loading up, the screen goes blank,

Once you determine if this is DOA or worth dealing with...
I would buy a copy of Tiger 10.4.6 now on DVD.
You are going to want/need more than 256MB RAM, too.
I would never rely on a pre-installed system other than when bought new/ref'd from Apple. I would always just wipe it totally clean.
You can find 160-300GB SATA drives for $68 - 120US.
PMU reset would be good idea. and I would make sure that it can boot into the Open Firmware screen where you can also reset nvram. If it can't get into that screen, which is not dependent on OS etc. then you have a more serious hardware or logicboard problems.

My screen goes from large to small in safari. also disappears than comes back. goes to desktop and then comes back.

I am having an issue when using safari. My screen goes from really large to normal. The screen also disappears and I get to the desktop with the small screens on top. Then I get the dock (I believe) with the calendar, time, weather, ect. Mouse goes crazy whether using the track thing or a regular mouse. Doesn't happen all the time but most of the time. Also the computer feels really hot to the touch.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

Arrrghhh my q5 has given sleepless nights my screen keeps jumping from one application into another, video calling my bb contacts, i have to keep restarting and restarting my phone because it gets jammed in the middle of my typing...

are you using a case?
try taking it off for a bit
does it only happen when charging?
if yes then your power supply might be faulty try using a differnet one to rule it out

Dock sometimes jump from one screen to 2nd other.

When I am using a second monitor (21" Dell) with my 15" MacBook Pro, why does the dock sometimes (often) jump from the bigger monitor back to the MacBook? This happens even when System Preferences/Displays/Arrangement indicates that the dock is still on the Dell monitor, but it is not. In the System Preferences/Displays/Arrangement, I have to 'move' the dock to the MacBook screen and then back to the Dell. Movement of the dock happens with other monitors too (e.g., Viewsonic). Thanks for any advice on solving this.

I get this behaviour for what ever screen the cursor is on.
But generally only when the cursor reaches the bottom of the screen.

No. Photo stream only streams photos, not videos. To transfer videos between your devices you can either import them to iTunes and sync them, or (more conveniently) use an app like PhotoSync or Bump.
