Screen layout not saved

Hi!
When I change the size of the filmstrip and of the right panel, they are not saved after leaving LR. When restarting, they have the old size again. This worked better in the Beta 4.1. (I did not try changing the size of the upper and left panel.)

I've noticed (with interest) that there seem to be a fair number of photographers running LR with only a single monitor setup. It would be unthinkable for a video editor (my primary function) to operate with less than 2 monitors (3 would be better if I had the room, but I don't because of that pesky NTSC broadcast monitor I need to use). But maybe for photo-centric operations a nice widescreen flat panel does just fine.
I wonder if just having the desktop stretched across 2 monitors is involved in this. As soon as I get some down time, I'll try switching to clone mode and see what happens.

RH 11 Imported Screen Layout Not Displaying in Gallery

Began using a trial of RH11 today and am experimenting with Responsive HTML5. I am trying to understand how to use a newly downloaded/imported screen layout while setting up a new single source Responsive HTML5 layout. I downloaded the screen layout from the Adobe site, which was a single file in a zip file. I unzipped the layout file to the same download folder and imported the extracted file into the Screen Layouts folder in the Project Set-up pod within RH11. Then while working in the Responsive HTML5 Settings window, clicked Gallery and expected to see the newly imported layout as an option there. The layout does not display. The layout name does display under the Screen Layouts folder folder in Project Set-up though.
How do I get the layout to display in the Gallery? I am wondering if I extracted the layout file to the wrong location? Does it have to be extracted to a folder within my project files such as the SSL folder or within the folder to which the RH11 trial software was installed? I assumed the Import process in Project Set-up would copy the layout file to wherever it was needed for it to work in Robohelp.
4/3 addition to original post -- adding a picture for reference regarding where I can't get the new layout to show. WIthout it showing here, how would I go about assigning the layout to my single source layout?

Thank you William. After following those steps, I was able to apply a newly downloaded .slz to my desired Responsive HTML5 single source layout.
While I am still not successful in getting the new screen layout to show in the gallery (in window accessed from B below), I was able to see the new screen layout in the Select drop-down list of the Responsive HTML Settings window -- thus mission acomplished! I made my selection from that list to get the desired, new screen layout applied to my project. Thanks so much!

Custom 2-week timecard layout not saving hours on 2nd Monday on 2nd row

We have a custom timecard layout, based on the projects and payroll layout, that moves the comments from the details page to the front page after each day's hours field.
It is working fine when used with a one-week timespan, but for 2 weeks, there is a strange problem. If you enter row 1 with no hours on the second Monday, then try to enter row 2 with hours on the second Monday, it will not save those hours. Instead, the hours are erased and the field blanked out. It will save hours on other days, but not the second Monday. Also, if you hit Continue, the hours are blanked out on the second Monday.
Anyone else experienced this?

Independently, I discovered the problem with the timecard. In the two week format, the second Monday hours input element had an ID of B2822, which was the same ID of the comments for the second Tuesday.
The sequencing for the ids for the hours input fields is B2210 .. B2227, B2228, B2229 etc.
The sequencing for the ids for the comments input fields is B2810, .. B2821, B2822, B2823, etc.
It would appear in our case that when the timecard layout is generated, the second Monday on the second row gets an ID of B2822 when it should be B2228, which seems to be a typo somewhere.
Once I understood the problem, following Ramu's suggestion that it was a known bug, I was able to search metalink using the search term 'OTL hours not saved' and found patch 6368806, which addresses a similar problem with a different layout. I will post an update if that patch resolves the problem.

Purchasing Info record screen layout not working for ME11

Dear All Experts,
I got requirement where GR Based IV and GR should be required for one vendor. So htought to create PIR from where I can make these two fields DEFAULT. So I went to table T162 from where I can make these two fields mandatory for ME11.
I followed the path : SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Prcahsing Info Record - Define Screen Layout for making fields mandatory for ME11.
It is not working at all, as well I can see rest irrelevant fields which are not of my use are required. Have I missed any piece of configuration somewhere in MM ?
Experts guidance from forum will be very much appreciable.

as you know we can create purchasing info record manually as well as automatic at time of Po creation
If you mark it in ME11 manually it will be helpful to you
or you can mark its required field in Vendor master record as well for your vendor account group in following path.
Logistic general - Bunisess partner -vendors > control > define accont groups and field selection > select your account goups and click on details and double click on purchase data and check for "GR based invoice verification" and mark required field

Screen shot not saving images

All of a sudden when i take a screen shot i can hear the shot being taken but it is not saving the image? it used to save the image to my desktop but it has suddenly decided to stop. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Start Screen Layout not applying to every user

Ok, i'm stuck. I have a 2012r2 DC with a 2012r2 terminal server. I exported the xml file to be the start screen layout and have it applied to a specific user OU with my two users in it. One gets the layout the other does not (metro
layout btw) Same users, same permissions, in the same OU. Tried to gpupdate with no luck, the only difference I can tell is one users existed and the other I created brand new to test with.
User config - policies - admin templates - start menus & taskbar - start screen layout
this OU is blocked from inheritence for testing purposes. I have also deleted all references to the non-woking user locally on the server and tried to re-login. No dice.
Idea's on what I am missing?

ESS custom fields - data entered in ESS screen is not saved in SAP record.

I am working with an ABAPer on the BAdI HRPAD00INFTYUI. We are trying to make a few customer Z* fields avaialble on ESS for IT0021. We followed the document posted at

I managed to make the fields visible on the iview as per instructions from document at link above (I don't know much about portal config).
Problems we have:
When I enter data in the custom fields on ESS and press Review button the custom fields no longer show. In addition, the data record does not save the information entered in these custom fields.
Cannot figure out how to change the order in which they appear on the screen. They are not in the same order that they appear on the 'Edit custom extension fields' screen where I made them visible.
Any input is appreciated.

Hi,
I think there are a few tasks that you can try to solve your problem (if you haven't already)
- First you will have to repeat the personalisation steps that you performed (on the initial portal i-view screen) in the the review screen to get the fields to display on this screen.
- to get the fields to update you will need to add them to the view V_T588MFPROPC or possibly V_T588MFPROPS though this table should be for SAP namespace
- You may need to check your code in the INPUT_CONVERSION method of the BAdI

Windows 8 Pro tablet - Syclo screen layout not displayed properly data entry

We are working on the windows 8 pro tablet to test the standard
service manager 4.2 application
During the testing in windows 8 Pro tablets, when we want to enter any data in syclo screen with the help of tablet’s keyboard, the input
fields becomes so small that we are not able to enter the data.
Is there any configuration which can be done so that the screen isclearly visible when data entry is made in the syclo screen.
If anyone has faced similar issue please share how to over come this.

Hello Phil,
Command bars were deprecated and shouldn't be used any longer. Instead, you need to use the Fluent UI (aka Ribbon UI) instead. You can read more about the new UI in the following series of articles in MSDN:

As a workaround you can add a custom control to the context
menu with the getEnabled or getVisible callback which will be invoked before the context menu is shown.

Multiuser multi-screen resolutions not saved when restarted?

I love my new iMac, but can't stand the fact that I allways have to change resolutions after rebooting the thing, ughh.. I Use the highest resolution, my girlfriend uses a lower one. When I reboot all accounts default to the high resolution, that's frustrating!!
Anyone knows how to fix this??

Screen Saver not saving!

Blowsemite switches back from my selected iPhoto folder to National Geographic any chance it gets. This seems to be an unaddressed/ignored big in Blowsemite.
The screensaver is one of the few joys of an OS that is overburdened with prompts for promos, banners for warnings, and endless neediness. I'm happiest away from this anchor, and prefer seeing photos of my family than soon to be extinct animals.

I had this problem too and like you, I couldn't find a fix for this.
And then, after days of search, I found this page http://www.macissues.com/2014/12/10/fix-reverting-screensaver-settings-in-os-x/
I followed the first tip of that article:
- Open a Terminal window
- Type this command (just copy-paste it): defaults -currentHost delete com.apple.screensaver
This command clears all your screensaver settings and reverts them back to default. When you open your screensaver preferences, just set them up the way you like it.
Before applying this fix, my screensaver would revert to national geographic several times a day.
Since then, my settings seem to stick and its been days since I've tried this fix.
You can try that and tell us if it works. Good luck!

Manual Layout data not saving to trx cube

Hello BPS Experts,
I am trying to load some data using manual planning. I open the layout and enter the values and press save. I do not find any requests / data in the cube.
case 1) No error / warning
I do not get any error during the save function in the layout. What could be the possible step I am missing. What could be the root cause..
case 2) message - No data to be saved
sometimes i get a message 'No data to be saved'. And that data is not getting saved. What could be the reason of this message.

Hello BWer,
One of the main reasons for data not saving from a layout into a Trx cube, is if there is no key figure being updated. The value of the key figure being posted should <> 0.
If you choose the option to display transaction data in your layout, then, only data with key figure values <> 0 will be displayed.

When I am clicking on submit button in popup screen, data is appearing on the mainpage table but the same is not saving in the database. One more I have observed that doDML is not calling means SOP's are not comming from doDML method in the entity class.
Please do the needful, its an urgent issue to reslove.

Can you please specify that for your attributes CreatedBy and CreationDate , are you using automatic insert value from your entity or not? Or you are passing default values programatically in doDML() method.
I guess for every new row your are using User name for CreatedBy field and current date for CreationDate field,
Why don't you set these field at the time of creation of new row, Override Create() method in your entity bean and then you can set these fields to there default values. and now you should remove Mandatory property to unchecked for these fields in entity also.

P.O change if i change only screen exit field the data is not saving

In the purchase order header custom tab i am added a screen exit field .In the purchase order creation mode the screen exit field is saving.But in the change mode if i am changing only the screen exit field then it is showing as 'no data to save' and not saving .But at the same time if i am changing some standard field with the screen exit field then both the field is saving.
I have to activate any field to save the screen exit field.Please let me know any exit to be activated for saving the data.

Safari always opens with "Welcome to Safari" screen. Home page not saved.

After a clean reinstall of Yosemite on our mid-2010 iMac and an upgrade to Safari 8.0.2, my partner is greeted with the "Welcome To Safari" screen each time he launches Safari.
In addition, his home page is not saved and the Favorites bar, which is set to be displayed by default, does not show.
My own Safari experience is unaffected.
Has anybody else experienced this and any suggestions on how to fix it?

Delete cookies
Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
Press the “Remove All Website Data” button.
It will take a while to finish.
Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Turn off Extensions if any, and launch Safari.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn those extensions one by one and test.
Delete safari .plist file.
Quit all applications. Click on an empty spot on the desktop to activate Finder.
Hold the “Option” key down and click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select “Library” from the drop down.
Library > Preferences > com.apple.Safari.plist
Right click it and select "Move to Trash". Close Finder window.
Please don’t empty the Trash.
Restart. Launch Safari
If this doesn’t help, right click the Trash icon in the Dock and select “Open”.
Right click the com.apple.Safari.plist and select “Put Back”.

Changes to printed doc layout not being saved (Robohelp 8)

Whenever I make a change to the TOC in my printed document layout, (i.e., deleting a page or reorganizing the pages), the change is not saved. I have to completely rebuild that chapter. This worked fine in version 6, but is a consistent problem in version 8.

I don't think we're communicating well.
I understand that I only get the Save option if I access the layout via Properties, and that I only get the Finish option if I access the layout via Generate. Those are the two methods I am using. And neither of them will retain the changes I make to my printed document layout.
Please try these steps yourself and let me know if the change is saved for you:
1. Open the CCC sample project.
2. Open the Style Mapping printed document layout, using Properties or Generate.
3. Use the down arrow icon to move the page titled Celebrations beneath the page titled Phone Numbers.
4. Click Save or Finish.
