Screen Layout of Sales Orders

Hello All,
Is it possible to define screen layout of sales orders VA01/VA02? The requirement is to disallow changes in the unit of measure field when creating or changing an SO.
In IMG > MM > Purchasing > theres Define screen layout at document level. Is there a similar functionality in SD?
Suggestions for possible work arounds are welcome also.

I want to add partner function in the main screen of the sales order, that mean add more partner function beside Sold to party and the ship to party to be in the order header, Is it possible and how?

Screen Layout for Purchase Orders

Hello,
Using the screen layout settings in config, I want to set a particular field to display only in change mode in ME22N.
But enjoy PO's are all controlled by entry ME21N only in config, So this means if I set AKTV (change) to display in ME21N transaction the field is display also, something I don't want to happen.
Using ME22 etc it is no issue.
Any thoughts on how to set change mode for enjoy PO's?

screen layout for purchase orders are done for document type wise.
go to document type and check the field selecton. now you can change field selection for that document type
spro > mm > purchasing > purchase order > define screen layout for document type.
find the fileld selection key at purchase order > difine document type

Screen variant for sales order screen

Hi,
I have a problem in using screen variant in sales order screen.
I want to make gray the columns of material , material quantity in sales order screen but when I use screen variant and check the output only for these columns , it does not work ( I provided these in delivery document and it work)
I want to know that is it possible to make gray for material and material quantity column with screen variant or I can use another way?

If I am getting it correctly,
When an end user enters any particular sales order ,u dont want user be able to add additional line item into the already created document,Right?
Now there are 2 possibilities here ,
1.If order or line item has status completed then u want to block?
2.Order is in incomplete state inspite that u want to block.
System does not stop addition of line item in already created even completely processed sales order.
You can do this by enhancing code in PBO module.You need to take help of ABAP developer for this.
We have used order and lne item status in vbuk table for this .
Create a custom error message for validation.
U can use exit MV45AFZZ for the same.

Screen Control in Sales Order

I want to control the update pricing button in the condition tab screen of the sales order.
I want to control for the same to be given to only specific users.
Can anybody help me with the detailed steps for doing the same.

If the user id is different, then your basis people can do this
On the other hand, if multiple users from different places accessing the same user id and you want to control, then you can try with sale order user exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP or USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in MV45AFZZ where you need to define some logic

Copying Crystal Report layout from Sales Order to Delivery etc

Good afternoon!
I have created a really lovely Sales Order layout in Crystal! It is the best!
Is there any way to copy this layout to a Delivery Note so it picks up the correct tables? I would love it

Open the report in Crystal Designer, select the menu option Set data source location.
In the top part, choose the table you need to change, then in the bottom bit find the table you want to replace it with and choose update. Do this with each of the tables you ned to change and they will update the source for you.
Other wise, import into SAP as a layout, the export as a Bip package. when you import it, choose it as a master layout and assign it to the forms you want to use it with and SAP will do the rest

Adding a new column to item overview screen 4900 in sales order transaction

I want to add a new column to refer to a custom field in screen 4900 ( Item overview screen ) in sales order transaction. Please suggest appropriate exit or BADI for the same. Give all steps to do the same.

As the link that RamKi let us know, this is a modification, so, I suggest to avoid. See SAP Note 862228 - Order reason for returns on item level for further information. I suggest to use the other enhancements in tabs.

REquest you to take the help of ABAPer and do the modification in standard Program
But instead of creating a new custom tab you can use additional data B tab to cater your requirement. Its given blank in standard so that we can modify as per our requirement .So the same will be reflected in all screen no. 4013

Characteristics Value screen suppress while Sales Order creation

Hi Experts,
In Super BOM of header item, we have around 50 materials as Configurable components. Now when user create Sales Order, system first shows Value Assignment Screen for all configurable components. So here user intervention is more.
Requirement is initially system should not show value assignment screen. It should be called only on user's request.

Availability Check Screen while creating sales order

Hi
If I see the stock level in MMBE , I find enough stock for some materials .But when I create the sales order for those materials , system is taking to availability check screen .
I am going and saving the sales order and trying to create delivery for that sales order but system is giving error that u201Cno schedule lines due for upto selected dateu201D .
What could be the problem and Hoh I can fix it please .

1. Enough stocks in MMBE means what?
Have you got enough stocks in unrestricted use
This needs to be checked
2. IN OVZ9 t code for your checking group of the material in MMR and checking rule A (sales order) there is a check box of include sales requirements
If that is ticked upon saving a sales order stocks are reserved for that order
Like that there might be some open orders existing for the item
You can see the list of such open orders in VA05N
Hence the system is taking you to availability check screen while creating order because there are not much stocks for this fresh order
You have saved that inspite of that
Hence there are no schedule lines in your order
Hence there is problem in delivery
Create the delivery on the scheduled dates given by the system in the schedule lines

You cau use the screens used in the tabs (header and item): additional data B.
In these tab screens exit are called, in these screen you can insert your fields.
The screen are:
SAPMV45A8309, Sales Document Header - User Exit Header
SAPMV45A8459, Sales doc. Item - User exit item
Use screen painter to change them. (transaction SE51)

Screen Exit in Sales Order

I have added three fields in Additional tab 'B' in the Header level of Sales Order (VA01) Transaction screen exit (SAPMV45A - Screen no: 8309). But my problem is i am unable to see the fields in the header level of VA01 transaction after activating the screen. Please suggest me how to display the fields in the header level of VA01 Tcode.

We usually do assign a User exit to a Project & activate.

you can add your field in Sales Order Screen Additional Tab B (Program:SAPMV45A and Screen No:8309)
and Following user-exits could be used for validating the field and modify field content:
     MV45AOZZ     User-modules PBO (Process Before Output)
     MV45AIZZ       User-modules PAI (Process After Input)
     MV45ATZZ      Data Definitions
     MV45AFZZ      Subroutines

Define screen variantes by sales order type

Dear Gurus,
Im working with SHD0 trx,i have following stage:
2 sales order types (Sales order A & Sales order B), both with diffrents fields to be shown. when i create a sales order A the system should call screen z "A".
when i create a sales order B the system should call screen z "B".
So the screen variant should be determinated by sales order type.
Another possibility is to create z transactions, this transacctions calls to VA01. Then relate z transactions to screen variant.
It's is possible to do?
Can someone advise me?

Dear Friend,
Transaction Variants are assigned at Sales Document Levelin VOV8.
This means you can have different Screen Variants for each Sales Order Type (A & B).
Thus in your case, you can create two different Transaction (Screen) Variants for each Document Type.
