Screen Modication and Feature change for Infotypes

Hi,
I have an issue with the Feature P0185. I will appreciate your help with this. I have a scenario where, the IT0185 screen is different for different MASSG (of the same MASSN - Action). So I created a new screen with a new variable. E.g. for reason code 01 during Prehire action, default screen 3000 and for reason code 02 during Prehire action, default the standard screen 2000. In feature P0185 I am looking at TCLAS first and after that A Master Data and Time Data after that MOLGA then MASSN then MASSG and here my return value is the screen variable. However with reason 01, it still defaults the standard screen (and not the custom screen).
I have done similar configuration for IT0002 and IT0006 and it works just fine. However with IT0185, I am unable achieve this.
I will appreciate and reward your valuable suggestion on this.

Objective of Features is to default based on certain conditions.
Infotype 1000 is to create an object and doesnt not make use of Any Feature...or in simple words, NO FEATURE EXISTS for Infotype 1000.

Helix - Exact dimensions of screen+bezel and cutout locations for custom screen protector?

Hey Helix owners,
I want to get a screen protector for the Helix, but I don't want the anti-glare one offered by 3M. Photodon prints custom screen protects to dimensions you give them. I was hoping to get the dimensions of the screen+bezel and the cutout locations for camera and tablet button... I'm not able to measure these very precisely myself. Anyone know where this information can be obtained?
I called 3M and they sent me a data sheet for their anti-glare protector, but it contained no info on dimensions and cutout locations.

I'm from germany so no 'best buy' but I think I will lock around sleeve/bag for a different product with same measures. Any tip?
The clear plastic case is not what I want. I would like to use the player without such protections. I just want a sleeve to protect the player while its in my jacket/pants.
Btw, i have bought this version: Creative Zen (maybe european version?). I also doesn't seem to have your mentioned sleeve. I also couldn't find it on the website.

ADF View Objects and Recording changes for Auditing Purposes

Hello,
I am a new to the JDeveloper paradigm and currently working on a J2EE web pilot project. I was wondering if I could get some some ideas on how I could implement auditing in an application. Basically when a user modifies some entries on the screen, I would like to make a note of what the record was like before commiting to the database. An administrator could then see, what changes the record has been through over a period of time.
I was thinking of using XMLTypes with the database. Does Jdeveloper handle oracle XMLType fields, or would I be looking at something along the lines of a CLOB? At this point, I would rather not implement this functionality using database triggers. Any alternate suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently we store history in seperate history tables for columns that changed. All this implemented in our BaseEoImpl overriding the EntityImpl.prepareForDML().

Is there way to have only access to delete and unlock infotypes in HR?
We need to give access for unlocking and delete access to few users

I have check E and D:
E comes with package of delete,create and change records
and D has auth to unlock records.
But my req is just to have delete locked records and Unlock lock records.
That is combination of E and D.

IPad started acting up, so I reset and now all I get is the apple icon and I can't even turn it off screen frozen and has been for about 18 hours

iPad started acting up, would not open books, screens come up that I never touched etc. so I did a reset, the apple icon showed up and has been on now for about 18 hours I can't even turn it off I plugged in in over night but still screen frozen? Any suggestions?

IDfix Tool and Appropriate Changes for Syncing with Office 365.

1. Our on premise domain is .local - DirSync will require an Internet routable extension (.org in our case). If I change my address to .org, will that impact my ability to login to my domain? Is there a special process for this situation?
2. For the Distinguished Names that show up in the IDFix tool that have the wrong address in the "Value" column, can I simply change the address in the "Update" column to the correct one even if it means changing from .local to .org?
3. For user Distinguished Names that show up in the IDFix tool that do not have an email address (nor do I want them too) - How do I exclude them from the sync process, what changes (If any) should I be making to these users?

Hi,
1. You have to add the UPN-Suffix on your on-premise Domain. After that, you can Change the UPN-Suffix for specific or all Users. Problems can occur, when Users using their UPN for Domain Login. Obviously they have to enter an the new UPN Suffix, but
there can be other side effects. I would recommend to test this very good.
2. I never used IDFix tool. I would using the GUI to add the UPN Suffix to the Domain. And changing the Suffix on the Users depends on the amount, but I would prefer to use Powershell.
3. You can configure Dirsync before the first sync is running. I have created a blog post about this Topic which might could help:

i am using hp pavilion 15-e015tx running window 8 i had complained on 18 oct 2014 regarding the display problem. my case id is 4739018980. till now the issuse is not solved. the engineer came , checked the laptop and said quotation will be send within few days and tookaway his service charges Rs.1400. Still waiting for the quotation .every time i call in hp support service they tell they will send quotation the same day but there is no response. pls send the quotatiom as soon as possible. i am feedup calling hp support care now.

Headphones stop working after a certain time and the notification for sound change has disappeared

HP Pavilion dv6-6176sa
Win7 64bit.
I have a Pavilion dv6, and occasionally no sound will go through headphones when the jack is plugged in. The headphones themselves are not at fault, they are brand new and work fine.
When the headphones are plugged in, the sound will only go through the laptop speakers. I've tried updating the drivers, fiddling with the jack and socket (as I read on google), the only resolution I have found is to restart the comp, which is a bit of a pisstake in all fairness and I'd rather not do that every time it happens.
5 minutes ago I was watching a TV show, listening through the headphones, when I pulled out my USB mouse (and accidentally the charger with it). The sound then switched from the headphones to the speaker.
If I open the sound settings, it will display the headphones as being plugged in, but the sound indicator bar (thingy) will only rise and fall on the speaker icon bar.
Currently I have the audio jack pulled out about a centimetre, this allows sound through the headphones, but the sound is noticeably different to what it should be.
I had rolled it back to "High Definition Audio Device", then reinstalled it to the most current driver. This hasn't fixed it.
Also, this may be a related issue: (I guess) around the same time, the beats audio notification that pops up on screen when the volume is changed has disappeared and doesn't display when the volume has changed.
In microsoft sound control panel, it has the default speakers and the headphone logo, when i plug in the jack, a green phone circle thing appears by the headphone option, meaning it works i guess. However, the description changes from "ready" to "default communications device" and nothing changes for the regular speaker device.
When I go to >configure, and test each (L/R) speaker, if the headphones are plugged in, the noise is louder then when they're not plugged it
But yeah, brand new headphones, brand new laptop, it's mad. What's madder is that the headphones will work for x amount of time, then stop working when I next try to use them...

How to switch to full screen faster and change between applications in full screen faster

Hi, my problem is that when I switch any application to full screen it does a little animation which spends a little time before getting to the full screen mode. The other problem is that when I change between applications in full screen mode it also does a little animation!
How can I eliminate those annoying ways of losing time?

sure man, after all the help i got, why not give some in return...
to make it full screen on oppening i put this code on the 1st frame:
fscommand("fullscreen", "true")
i also make 2 buttons for making the screen smaller and bigger again, for both i used the following
on (release) {
fscommand("fullscreen", "false")
this is for making it smaller, and for full screen i used "true" instead of "false"
of course i added a button foe exit with the follownig code:
on (release) {
fscommand("quit")

How to create subscreen for Infotype 7?

    I have an Infotype 7 enhancement job which need me to create a subscreen in infotype 7. The subscreen will use to store additional information for part time employee and this information will store in customized cluster tables.
   Anyone have information about how this can be done? I really don't have any idea of how to start this job.

To add data on the subscreen just goto SE80 open program MP000700 and goto screen 100 and use it for your updation.
