Screen not visible

Screen flashes, remote client window is listed (in WIndow Menu), but not visible. It is as if it is off-screen somewhere. Any ideas? I have tried deleteing from the all computer list and reconnecting with no luck. Unfortunately it is a co-located Mini in a secure location - I can't easily get to it to put a real monitor on it.

I was able to see the log and these are the entries after I ran the kickstart routine. Is there anything unusual in there?.:

VST edit screen not visible after a certain number in a session

Hi folks, I have a small strange problem. After I add a certain number of VSTs to a project, I can't see the GUI of the VST anymore. It's there, and working, but I can't edit any parameters because I can't see them anymore. Anyone with this problem and why it happens?
It seems to be worst with new Waves plugins (I have Gold bundle) but it's general with any VST. Strangely, it doesn't happen with DirectX plugins at all.
Lenovo laptop, i5, using firepod.

The main screen is scrollable. The sub screen does not need to be. The box frame has been expanded to allow space for the new objects and the entire new space is visable. Only the objects located in the lower portion of the box are not visible.

Caller screen not visible, mixed up screens on iphone

when my phone is not in use, often times there will be two screens visible at once. for example, the ipod control will be visible on my wallpaper when i'm not even using the ipod.
also, the screen doesn't always come up when someone is calling me.

*That is a screen shot of iPod Control while iPhone is locked. It is typically activated when you double click the home button. It can make the controls re-appear and disappear.
Have you tried rebooting iPhone at all since this started?
Hold down home button - & Sleep/Wake button together. Let go once you see a silver apple logo.

Icon display in Module pool screen not visible to some users

Hi,
I have added an icon in one of the module pool screen with dynamic quick info. The page is rendered fine and the info is also displayed well for most users except some. I can't figure out why the icon is not being displayed for some users.
Do someone has any solution for this?

As I recall, the icons are actually stored in a file on each PC so some users may have a corrupted or out-of-date file with the icons. You can look for posting on "how to add an icon" to see a discussion on this topic.

Supplier screening not visible

Hi
We are having SRM 4.0 with SUS installed.
1. In SICF under BSP-->SAP there are 2 services self registration. <b>Ros_self_reg</b> and <b>Srmsus_selfreg</b>.
Which one we should configure for supplier self registration.
We have configured ROS_SELF_REG for supplier self registration. Is this correct? If so what is the significance of SRMSUS_SELFREG.
2. There is no "Supplier Screening" entry in the Menu tab for the role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER or SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER in PFCG. How to get that entry in the role.
Because of this I am not able to see "Supplier Screening" link with purchaser's role in EBP web application and not able to see the suppliers who are registered through self registration page.
Please provide the solution for the above.

1) This is since SRM 4.0, where we replaced Java based SUS WPS with BSP.
One should be for SUS only, and the other one for SRM ???
2) Here is a copy of online help. You must adapt the role with this BSP link:

The Preselect Vendors transaction is delivered with the single roles. In order to use the transaction, you must enter the URL for supplier screening in the single role. Then you must update and activate the composite role.
Supplier Screening with ERP
You have logged onto the supplier registration system with the role SAP_EC_SUS_ROS_ PROCESSOR.

I already assigned requirement profile template to program of study. I'm able to see requirement filed in student file but empty without any requirement and checkbox. Did all the settings as per audit cookbook.
The parent table PIQDBAUDF is having the AUDF_ID(Requirement Profile Identifier (ID)). but not inserting the same value in
1) PIQDBAUDF_STRU1 ( Requirements of Requirement Profiles)
2) PIQDBAUDF_STRU2 ( Subrequirements of Requirement Profiles).
Could you please let me know where we are going wrong with settings/configuration or do we need to implement any OSS Note. if so please do let us know.

Netpoint License Activation screen not visible

I am trying to install Netpoint for the first time on a demo system. My Netpoint website, however, does not show the License Activation screen. Without that, my license cannot be validated and I am completely stuck. All of the steps in the instructions have been followed. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Thank you in advance. Note: the Netpoint DB, with superuser, has been created successfully, the web.config looks good, the permissions are all in place, etc.

I am using the "OEC 4" theme, so I am seeing the normal home page for that theme, but there is no "license activation" message/section at the bottom. Just the standard home page.
I installed Webtools 5.9
I got the installation docs (Netpoint 5.9 Installer.doc) at the same time I downloaded the software from the SAP Site.
The installer .msi file is named 592netpointinstaller.msi. When I installed it, the installer said that my local version needed updating. I pressed the "download files" button, and upgraded to 5.9.6. However, the red letters at the bottom of the installer screen continued to say "New Installer Available to Download". But it seems that the 592netpointinstaller.msi is the latest version, correct?

Menu bar at upper left of screen not visible

I have lost the menu bar that appears in the upper left corner of the screen ("File", "Edit", "View", etc., as well as the back/forward arrows). I restored it on Internet Explorer -- how do I restore it on Firefox?

BROKEN SCREEN "CLIP" SCREEN NOT VISIBLE

I have just been given a Portege 7200 series with docking station. The clip which fastens the screen to the main unit is broken and the screen doesn't seem to work. Whilst I can cope with the broken clip, I wondered if this is affecting why the screen isn't working? I can only see a very very dim image. Obviously I use an external screen but wondered if there was anything I could do to make the laptop screen work again. Thanks for any help.

I am pretty sure that some hardware component is defect. It can be FL inverter or something like that. In my opinion you should contact Service Partner and let them exchange it. Portege 7200 is very nice notebook.
In my opinion it is worthwhile to change it.

Reminders screen not visible

I'm running OSX mavericks.
when I open reminders app, there is no window, nothing. if I uncheck reminders in the system preferences (icloud), it comes back, but blank. If I put in a reminder then (keeping reminders open) re-check the reminders box in system preferences, the icloud reminders show up. but when I close the reminders app, it's just like before.
reminders is working OK on other (iOS and mac) devices, and the reminders I created on the broken mac show up after I've re-checked the icloud reminders box (they get merged into the icloud reminders then synced to the cloud).
This is vexing, it happened to me before with my other mac, and I have no memory of what I did to fix it.
I tried repairing permissions, I tried reboots, I tried resetting the pram (or whatever it's called - option/apple/p/r during boot).

Why is the placeholder Q&A for multiple choice not visible on screen?

After inserting 6 Multiple choice quiz slides in Captivate 7, the placeholder Q&A text is not visible, so there's no way for me to modify them with my Q&A's. However, they are visble in Preview mode. Any suggestions?
This is happeneing in a project that someone else created & I am editing. I made a new version & copy/pasted the quiz slides into a new file. Ever since then I've had this problem. When I open the original file, it's now doing the same thing there as well. What gives??
Below is what I'm seeing. If you look at the slides on the filmstrip on the left, you can see that there is nothing there, however in the Preview, you can see the placeholder text.

OK - the screen shot below is what I see when I am in edit mode. Completly blank except for the "Multiple Choice" heading at the top. I've highlighted in red on the Properties & Filmstrip, which Master slide I'm using. Hopefully you can see that on the Master Slide the placeholder text is there, but not in the edit view.
Lily - below is a screen shot of the Quiz Properties. Hopefully you can see it.

While creating data in IT580 ( Previous Employment Tax Details).. The screen is not visible completely.
Only following feields are visible :

Gratuity Exemption
VRS Exemption
No. of LTA Exempt
LTA carried forward
The screen is blank other than than the above mentioned, no details are visible.
Could anyone resolve this query pls ???

Can u plz check if hiring date of the employee is begin date of the Financial year. If this is the case then only following fields will be applicable for the Previous Employment Tax Details :
1. Leave Encahsment Exemption Amount
2. Gratuity Exemption
3. VRS Exemption
4. No. of LTA Exempt
5. LTA carried forward
this is because only thess exemptions can be adjusted/ carried forward to the current year from the previous year. Other components like previous gross salary , PF, Ptax, Income tax etc are not applicable for the cross financial year adjustemnt in such a case.
U can test the same with a hiring date other than the begin date of the financial year. u will get the whole screen.
Check and let me know if still its nt clear.

Co-el, This wasn't possible as there wasn't a navigation bar available. The F11 did the trick though. Thanks for adding to the discussion.

Full Screen is not visible

Hi Experts,
When i execute any web dynpro application(e.g Leave Approval) in browser(IE6), the screen is not visible fully that's why i can't click on submit button in order to approve the req.
work around for this issue is F11. by pressing F11 full screen comes up but I need permanent Solution. Kindly help me.

Are you running the application directly from the wd or you have created the iview for that application?
If you have created an iview for your application, there might b the reason that you forgot to set the open page property as full page. If this is the case, do it.
If you are running your application from wd itself, and not able to see the complete view - try this
1. try to run in other IE versions. But, tell you something, 6 is the best to run all the applications.
2. check the component used by you in the application & there sizes. Sometimes, problem comes that you outerframe size is less as compared to inner. This will result in the same situation.
Just try this and tell me if something worked out for you. Thanks.

Menu bar is not visible, but neither is Full Screen mode button. How do I fix this?

While I am in Firefox, it appears that I am in Full Screen mode, as my Menu Bar is missing while in the application, but when I looked up how to troubleshoot, it told me to click on the Full Screen mode button (with diagonal arrows) but it is not visible anywhere in my browser. How else can I get out of Full Screen mode? Thank you!

On Mac you can use: command+Shift+F
