Screen painter property

Hi Friends,
in screen painter property windows is not opening / working for me.
but previously it was working fine.
any idea how i will get this property window again.
Note: this is not working for only one company where its are orking for others company.

HI,
Did u try uninstalling the complete client then delete all the temporary files and then restart the system then reinstall the SAP B1 client. Then install the Screen painter add- on...

Setting Folder Pane in Screen Painter

Hi All,
I have a question about setting a value of pane - folder's property. When I set this property in Screen Painter and choose form preview form's pane level changes, but when I save this form in xml file and load in my add on I have to add code that changes pane level after clicking on folder. Also SAPbouiCOM doesn't contain such property like Pane. What is this property for? Why it works in SP and doesn't when load from xml? Is this just for Screen Painter?

Form.PaneLevel is a property for form and it changes form panelevel.
I think that comparable property for for Folder.Pane (in Screen Painter) would be val off and val on.
The most important thing for me was to be sure that I have to handle changing of panelevel by myself. I thought that maybe this property wasn't handle by SAP SDK correctly.

Screen Painter - search help for field

Hello All,
I have some fields in a screen created with Screen Painter.
The filelds's types are standard system types like BU_PARTNER or other.
How do I have to define them so that in the screen to appear the match code?

Hi Diana Cotelea,
You can use standard search help 'BUPA'.
Do as follows,
1. Goto 'Dict' tab of the property of BU_PARTNER field in your screen, in 'Search Help' property enter the search help name 'BUPA'.
2. Goto 'Program' tab, for 'Poss. Entries Key' property select 2 or 3 from its DropDowm List values.

How to add a search help on a screen field from screen painter

Hi,
I would like to add an existing Search Help on a screen field in Screen painter.
Of course it's possible to just click on th screen field and in the property box, I just have to set the name of teh search help.
The problem is that I need the screen field to be grey and user musn't be able to change the field value if he doens't use the search help.
I'm not allowed to modify the existing search help or to built it on my own from source code, I must use the existing one.
Do you have an idea on how to do so?

Dropdown Box:
In the screen painter for that field goto properties -> Dropdown ->select listbox.
Option 1:
Instead let that field be in change mode and if user enters any wrong entry which is not there in the table give a error messgae.

Option 2: Other than if u want the way u like, let that field be greyed out. don't attach the search help.
In the PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
FIELD addr1_data-region MODULE region_pov.
MODULE region_pov INPUT.
Using the F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST table value request show the search help.
also make that field input enabled.

Option Button Databinding in Screen Painter

What is the correct way to specify Databinding in the Screen Painter for Option Buttons? I assume that the first button is specified differently than the others, so I will need to know how the settings for the second option button differ from the first button.
Also, how is the Groupwith property handled with the Screen Painter?

Hi Bob,
You need to create a UserData source and bind it to the option buttons you want to link together. Try to do it with screen painter but if it does not work you can go to the generated xml file and modify it by hand.
The groupwith property is not handled by the ScreenPainter, you must do it in the xml file.
You have a sample code in the UI API SDK Help.

Screen Painter error when click or moving objects

Hi all,
from the last two or three releases of SAP B1, i get an error when i try to click with the mouse over a control in screen painter.
The object over i click on, become very large (width = large int) and the same with the top property.
Any suggestions ?

Error while opening a screen painter

Hi all,
I am trying to modify a screen in SE80. But when i am clicking on the screen painter it shows 'EU_SCRP_WN32 : timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'

For the Future Problem Facers:
I too faced the same problem and the below steps helped me.
Re: SFLIGHT is NOT defined for the current logical database.
You can check the completeness of the program installation by starting the program gneux.exe locally in the SAPGUI directory (for example, by double-clicking on the program name in the Explorer window).The Layout Editor is displayed with German texts and an empty drawing area for the pseudo screen EUSPDYND 0000.
If the installation is not complete, an error dialog box provides information regarding the cause of the error, for example, sometimes the DLL eumfcdll.dll is missing after reinstalling the SAPGUI. For example, the eumfcdll.dll DLL was sometimes missing after the SAPGUI was reinstalled.

F4_FILENAME in search help in screen painter

Hello gurus,
I want to design a screen in which the text input field is used to get file name. For that i need to enable file search in local folders and drives with f4 key press. I wish to use the functionality of function module 'F4_FILENAME" in screen painter. How can i do that?
I tried creating search help for RLGRAP structure. It compiles fine but gives the message 'No inout for selection'.
What should i do?

I am posting the final code.
1. In se38, i created program zprogram.
2. In se51, i created a screen for the program zprogram.
3. In layout, i took 2 buttons and one input/output field.
1st button for import and 2nd button for exit.
4.In flow logic-
i wrote the follwing code.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_100.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
FIELD FILENAME1 MODULE F4_FILE_SEARCH.

To get Drop Drown Box on screen .
Follow these steps.
1.
Go to T.Code SE51 and Select Laypout for the Screen.
2.
Double click on the field for which u want Dropdown box.
3.
Then U will see Name ,Text ,DROPDOWN.Click on that and select List Box or ListBox with key . Better to to select first one.
4.
Save and Activate ur screen .
5.
Enter the following piece of code in the PBO of the screen.(Change for ur requirement).

1.
create input field for DATE and TIME on screen.ex. DATE1 and TIME1 are screen field names .
2.
Just assign SY-DATUM to DATE1 and SY-UZEIT to TIME1 under PROCESS BEFORE EVENT.
3.How to create text box for giving comments?
1.
Define one variable in the TOP include with type STRING means Global variable.
2.
Create one input field by giving screen field name which u have defined in the above step.
4.How to store the records that we are entering in a table?
For this case.. Create one table control. you can select one record and create record in the Z table by pressing button on Application toolbar..
Check the following steps to handle Table control.
1).
U should take one variable in your internal table or in structure which
is used for table control fields

In this Module read_table_control, You should write the following code

If you want to Delete some of the records from Table control
follow this code Create one pushbutton and give Fucnction code to that

Is it possible to display the standard function keys in screen painter

Hi ,
I design a screen in se51 where I use push buttons and input/output buttons and so on in the layout, here in the layout or in my final output screen(when i assign this screen to a transaction) I would like to display other standard keys, ie the function keys and application toolbar items. I would like to know whether there is a possibility to do this , if yes then how?
In a menu painter there is a possibility where I can customize the keys or I can use the standard keys by going to se41 extras->adjust template. Is there similar possibilities in the screen painter.
