Hi! Whichever website I visit all the pictures, photos, slides keep flickering and then Firefox crashes.pleased solve solve this issue.

Some questions to help us help you! (I haven't noticed this flickering & crashing on photo sites that you mention in my testing)
# Which websites are causing this problem? A few (3 or 4) examples would be grand!
# What version of Firefox are you using? FF35 for Android?
# Have you tried temporarily uninstalling all the add-ons in Tools -> Add-ons? Sometimes add-ons break Firefox!
# Finally what version of Android OS are you using? (ice cream sandwich 4.0, jellybean 4.1-4.3, kitkat 4.4? etc) and what phone or tablet are you using? (htc one, samsung galaxy s5, etc)

How do I get my Iphone 4S screen to stop flickering and jumping?

My 15 month old Iphone 4S's screen has recently starting jumping and flickering and will not stop.
First began in my camera but would stop when I turned the camera to the front to see my face, then when switched back to the other side it would begin jumping again, (roughly a month ago). Then it started happening in any apps that involved my camera, snapchat, instagram, etc. today.
Now, my screen always flickers and jumps in all apps and when on my home and lock screen.
IOS is up to date.
No cracks on screen.
Continues to do so even after resetting and restoring iphone, and changing my brightness up and down.
Background moving is turned off.
Flickering is worse at the bottom of the screen.
Screen was replaced six months ago.

Sorry I can't help but I literally just posted the exact same thing on this website my 4s screen on camera flickers and jumps and in snapchat and slo pro ( slo motion camera ) will this turn to the home screen aswell I've already had a problem with the screen once !!

My iPhone screen flickers with lines. It turns into a negative or full satiration colours, and crashes then goes black. I replaced my screen this summer after severly cracking the screen. For around 3 months the screen has worked fine after screen replacement. It has been doing this for around 3 weeks now. Do you think he is terminal? Or could it be a loose wire / connection issue?

ya so after i updated it. It told me to Link to itunes and it told me to restore my phone so i did and after that i restarted my IPhone and it did the Same thing COLORS and Lines and now all i see on it is a Black screen with a Purple Circle and Lines i think Apple Owes me a New iphone 4

Apple Screens of Death, Flickering, and Black-outs Galore

Should I downgrade to the older version? 2.0 seems to be filled with new problems.
Since I upgraded it, I've gotten the apple screen of death several times, including today. I can usually fix this problem by resetting it.
Today, it just blacked out. I couldn't get it to work. I tried syncing it and it seemed like it was syncing, but I still couldn't see anything on the iPhone. Not even the Apple logo.
I disconnected and reconnected it, and it attempted to upgrade its software (even though I'm on 2.0). Tried again, and it couldn't detect the iPhone anymore and said it needed to restore.
Still no screen. I did one final sync, and the screen showed up and it was working again.
At work today, I received an important business call. While speaking with a prospect, I had to look something up in Omnifocus on my iPhone. As soon as I clicked on the app icon, it gave me the Apple screen of death. I wasted about 10 minutes resetting it.
On 1.1.4, I had always had issues in the "voicemail" section where the screen would flicker on and off. I've got the same issue now; it's just work. I try to listen to my voicemail, and instead I have to wait for my screen to actually show up as it flickers on and off, with long periods of "off."
Then there's the battery life issue. I was only in work for 6.5 hours today, and it was fully charged when I arrived at work. I had 3 or 4 phone calls on my cell, lasting about 30-40 minutes altogether. That's pretty much all I did on it. Once it was time for me to leave work, I had under 20% of battery life left. That's pathetic.
What is Apple doing to address these problems? The MobileMe homepage still isn't up for most users yet.
Who else has these issues? Has anybody managed to solve them? If I need to restore, I will. I just don't want to do that if it won't fix it.

Do this.
Go to the Apple Support page and type in your serial number. When the screen comes up showing that Serial number having Applecare extended warranty take a screen shot of it or Print it out to a PDF file and then Print a Hard Copy of either of those things. Take that with you when you take your Mac in to be looked at.
Good Luck with the Lenovo. I hear they are the same quality as when IBM was making them. Personally I have always used Dell Business Class notebooks and have never had any problems with them. Still have one that is going on 11 years old and it still runs as good as the day I bought it, actually a little better because I've upgrade the CPU, GPU. RAM and HDD.

Why does the BlackBoard HTML editor freeze and crash Firefox 3.6?

Black Board uses a HTML editor that seems to be based on JAVA. I teach by added posts to threads and can use the editor or disable the editor in either case after adding some text the window freezes and I cannot add text or delete text. If I enable the HTML editor the text is gone, but if I then disable it I can add a few letters, but if I try to delete, it will again freeze. Disabling and enabling the HTML editor works several times and the FireFox will crash. Actually I do not care about the HTML editor. My preference is just to disable the HTML editor and add my classroom comments.
Oddly the editor works on Safari, but its slow and clunky, so I disable the HTML editor and I can add my raw text with some selective HTML to get paragraphs and bold. I would rather go back to FireFox, but for now Safari works better.

When I am attaching documents to a new e-mail I am getting Data Execution Prevention error and crashing firefox? What can I do to overcome this problem.

When I am making a new e-mail and trying to attach a document(Word, Wordperfect or pdf file, an error occures because of the Data Execution Prevention and crashes the program? What need to be done to correct this issue. I was able to do this a few weeks ago with no problem.

My macbook pro screen flickers and crashes computer - what is the problem

All of a sudden my macbook pro computer screen started flickering. Once this happens the computer freezes and it needs manual reboothing. Sometimes it comes back, buy it requires several reboothing attempts to get it going. What could be the problem, and how to fix it.

The proper diagnosis and fix will found at an Apple store genius bar. It is a GPU, display or display connection issue.

This is a problem with Facebook. On my status I no longer have the buttons to share a picture, video, link AND my Firefox plugin for sharing web pages on FB no longer works. Any Ideas?

How to prevent physical memory filling up and crashing Firefox (22.0) when watching Flash-based videos?

This happens maybe 30-50% of the time when I watch a video online, whether it be on YouTube or other streaming site. This usually happens when the video is at least 20 minutes long, and about 8-9 minutes in.
Looking at the Task Manager, my memory fills up to nearly its max (3.8-3.9 GB out of 4 GB) for a while before Firefox crashes. How can a video that is not very high definition take up that much physical memory space? After Firefox crashes, the RAM used immediately drops back below 1 GB.
Is this a Flash bug or a Firefox bug/leak? Or maybe my browser customization is at fault? It does not happen on Chrome.

Well, doomsdaze's rant didn't help solve my problem, but it actually makes me feel better about switching to Chrome.
Yes, I switched browsers, set up all-new extensions and settings, and accepted other inconveniences because I couldn't watch videos in peace on Firefox.
I had no idea there were so many others with this problem!

Obnoxious finder/screen/window behavior -- oh, and crashes

I'm getting increasingly angry at this Beta release Apple sold us all.
Am I the only one experiencing random finder crashes? Literally in the MIDDLE of just typing a sentence on a forum I was on this morning, everything stopped. No more typing. I could move the mouse around, but it wouldn't let me click or select anything. I couldn't do anything but force a reboot. I had a similar crash this morning in the middle of drawing a curve in Illustrator, one in the middle of opening a new browser window, and one when opening up a folder from the dock. Yeah, that's FOUR CRASHES in one day. So far.
Also, when I'm scrolling around in messages, I get all sorts of weird artifacts in the screens -- like polygons shearing in a bad video game, only the polygons are parts of the screen/window I'm in. I also get an occasional pink shadow (square, solid in one corner with a sort of fading gradient toward the opposite corner) popping up from time to time randomly.
On top of the headache over trying to get Mail to work properly again, I'm now convinced that Apple has rushed an unfinished release out too early.
(I think they've gone more than just putting Intel inside the Mac -- they've now firmly adopted the Microsoft system-marketing mentality.)
Does anyone know a fix to keep the damned thing from crashing? I've gotten so paranoid I save every 30 seconds, but when working on posts I am living in fear that a long post such as this may just disappear with the next crash, and I'll have to start all over again. (again.)

Find outthe graphics card you are using and do a search on Leopard forums for > graphics problems - it may be a matter of reinstalling the drivers.
You can also search for the graphics card name.

Screen flickering and running hot

I have had this laptop for five and a half years and all of a sudden the screen is constantly flickering and changing color. It also seems to be running warmer than usual as well.
I don't want to have to buy a new one. What could be the issues!?

Catalyst/Chromium causes screen to flash wildly then crashes computer.

I'm using catalyst-test-pxp 14.3-1 and chromium 35.0.1916.153-1. I am using 2 monitors. The main one being my laptop's screen (LVDS) to the right and my secondary screen (CRT1) to my left. Previously I had used a single screen configuration, however after reconfiguring xorg.conf with aticonfig, spawning chromium will cause the screen to flash wildly and crash the computer, forcing me to hit the power button and wait for the system to power off. I'm going to jump on this dogpile with a "me too" post.
About my setup: 2 year old workstation, Intel Core2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon 2600PRO graphics card, all up to date on Windows patches, latest device drivers, etc.
Until now the system was totally stable. For the past 1-2 weeks, anytime I try to play videos on CNN's website (which uses Flash), my system freezes-- no response from mouse, keyboard, anything. Only way out is a hard reset.
I've opened the case and checked all connections. Pulled and re-seated memory, even switched the slots each stick is in. Pulled and re-seated graphics card. Cleaned CPU and graphics heatsinks with compressed air. Verified all fans are working. Replaced the power supply with a new Corsair 650w. Ran utilities to verify CPU and GPU temps, and found all to be very good (it's a well cooled case).
I've completely uninstalled all traces of Flash using the Adobe Flash Uninstaller, after killing all but essential processes (to make sure nothing had Flash open). Then I reinstalled the latest version available today (10 Feb 2011). Both the ActiveX component for IE8, and the Firefox version, still bring about a system lockup.
The only, and I mean ONLY thing that ever crashes this computer is playing Flash videos, usually from CNN.
It does not matter if I am viewing in IE8 or the latest version of Firefox. Result is exactly the same, on exactly the same videos, regardless of browser.
If this is truly a device driver issue, then it is ONLY triggered by Flash. I'm a very busy telecommuter who spends as much as 10-12 hours a day on this machine for both work and recreation. No other software of any kind causes this PC to lock up, so this is clearly a Flash-triggered problem.

I have a 3gs with 16Gb so its not a cheap phone. I have 10Gb free. I have 6600 photoes. This is very frustrating and undermines my confidence in your products. My ipod is an ipod 4 with 16Gb also. It does the exact same thing to it. The last time, I had to import photoes a few at the time and with it taking 10-15 minutes each time for 6600 photos it is a long frustrating process. But it will import every photo a few at a time. The error message is just that itunes has stopped working. no hint as to why. AND of course, my phone is out of use for the entire time. You guys must not want to believe ur phones are a necessary tool...or maybe you dont want the consumer to believe it is. I have tried to find solutions on your website as well as through other 3rd party communities. Ultimately they were of no use. I stumbled onto my solution by accident since Im a bit of a computer geek...a semi-geek.

basically whenever I try to sync my ipod touch 4G 64GB it crashes iTunes when it begins the pictures. if im lucky ill get 4-5 on there before it stops responding. its not my system or anything im running win7x64 8GB DDR3 ram (Corsair XMS3) AMD FX Eight core processor.

Firefox 4.0 freezes, crashes, closes, changes screens, does not respond, and runs 8X SLOWER than 3.6.

Firefox 4.0 is the WORST browser I have ever seen. It freezes, crashes, closes, changes screens, does not respond, and runs 8X SLOWER than 3.6. Tasks I used to do in 30 minutes, now takes me 40 minutes or more. I went back to 3.6 and immediately had a tremendous improvement.
Mozilla needs to get rid of this load of lies about a new crap program, and go back to the 3.6 version. Version 4.0 is WORST than any other program I have ever seen.

The slow / hesitant scrolling problem seems to be an artifact of the database Firefox uses to keep track of where you go, what you do, etc. It uses sqlite databases which get fragmented over time.
There are several fixes:
Some are add-ons and work internally, such as Vacuum Places (search the addons for it).
Some are external. Speedyfox is one I just tried, and found to work quite well. I think it did a better job than Vacuum Places, but requires Firefox to be shut down before it can work properly.
Find Speedyfox using a web search.
