Screen position realignment issue (80222) not fixed

G'day
This is just a note to say I don't think http://cfbugs.adobe.com/bugreport/flexbugui/cfbugtracker/main.html#bugId=80222 has been fixed properly / thoroughly / completely.
I'm getting it far less frequently, but I am still getting it. I have not been able to detect a pattern as to when it might/might not happen.
Anyone else still getting it?

After reading about the problem in the April issue of MacWorld, page 96 I think, I brought the computer over to the Apple store, showed them the article, and they ordered me a new graphics card (well, it was a little more difficult and time-consuming than that, but you get my drift) - a more recent version of the card.
Et voila!!! No more screen junk. Isn't that kewl?

SAP QM QE01 - Result Recording issue - scope not fixed

Hi QM experts!
I am facing the issue with the QE01 tcode, while result recordning. My caracteristic has a "scope not fixed" indicator marked. I have the sampling prcedure n=1. While result record the system doesnt allow me to regitster more then 1 result. The "Sigle result" dropdown is blurred, not letting me enterring more then one result.
With the sampling procedure n=2 I am able to multiple the results as much I want.
I am not sure if there is any OSS Note for that problem, once I searched and haven´t came across any.
Anyone familiar with that problem?

yes, my caracteristics are checked for "single results" record.
What I meant by N=1, N=2 is the size of my sampling procedure. While using samling procedure of size fixed=1, I can not regiser more then one result, even though caracteristic is marked as "scope not fixed / single results.
And when I use the sample procedure size Fixed=2 (QDV1) for the same caracterisic I am able to register 2 results / 4 /6..etc. as many I as intend to.
What am tryin to figure out here, why the system doesnt let me register more then one result in the first senario, seems like a bug to me.

Battery Issue still not fixed

This is my first iPhone. I like the phone but the battery issue is not resolved. I downloaded the software fix and it did not fix it. In fact it might have made it worse! I have to keep everything turned off all the time or the battery is used up in a few hours. What good is having the phone if you can't have anything turned on. I see no difference in the battery life even with the software update. I don't mind charging it each night, had to do that with the Blackberry too but I don't want it going dead mid day when I have barely used it. Has anyone found a way to keep the battery at a decent level all day?

why don't you search the forum before asking a question that's been asked and answered over and over and over and over again?
There are a multitude of postings with excellent suggestions on how to maximize your battery life.

X-Fi Titanium PCI-E x1 and known UT3 OpenAL issue still not fixed!!!!!!!

Dear creative support... wtf is this?! This issue is known since so looooooong time, as i've read at other forums fixed with all other x-fi sound cards but with not my one. Installed yesterday latest beta driver, day before yesterday i've been using stable 2.7.0008 driver and with both versions i got this **bleep** annoying crash.
I want to remember to you issue details: random crashes of game during play it with ingame OpenAL enabled.
I have 5. speakers set and i want to play the game with surround audio, i can get it only by enable OpenAL in game menu so do not even try to suggest to me to disable OpenAL!!! I tried many known "fixes" and workarounds, using latest versions of driver but issue still happens to me.
IF this issue will not be fixed i will buy asus xonar asap, temporary i just have no money to buy new sound card. Gi've me driver fixing this issue, ffs!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only game with which i have a problem.
I contacted with support via email form, they suggested to me to contact with game's customer support i did so and waiting for answer from them.
Creative support in answer said that this issue happens not only with creative x-fi products but unfortunately it's not true. In many forums problem were analysed by users and result is one: x-fi users only are facing this issue. Also before i bought card i've been playing long time ut3 with integrated realtek sound card and there was no problem with enabled openal, it shown up when i bought and installed x-fi titanium sound card.

Keyboard issue still not fixed with Bootcamp 3.1

It appears that bootcamp 3.1 did nothing to solve the most annoying issue I face. Everytime I unplug my Mac keyboard from my MacBook Pro, and then plug it back in, bootcamp reverts the keyboard back to mapping the function keys using the apple standard regardless of the setting in the bootcamp control panel.
So everytime I unplug/plug-in the keyboard (which is a lot during the day given my job) I have to open the control panel, uncheck the "Use function keys as standard function keys" checkbox, click apply, then check the same checkbox again to re-enable it and click OK.
I've actually become quite used to doing this, but it's still annoying nonetheless.
I'm wondering if there is no way to fix this. Maybe it's a USB thing. Maybe it's a firmware thing in the apple keyboard. Who knows.
Apple, I have posted several times and have never had a response. It would be nice to hear something from someone on the issue.

Hopefully this will help solve the constant setup problem. I found a solution for what may be a similar problem, but it was with the keyboard in OS X rather than in Windows. The problem I had was that I would start up in OS X and then connect the keyboard. I then would get a keyboard setup "wizard", and this problem would happen each time I connected the keyboard. I found that if I would start the computer up with the keyboard first connected before startup, then go through the keyboard setup, and then restart with the keyboard still connected, after that I never would get the setup stuff again. Now I could connect the keyboard at any time before or after startup, and the keyboard would be recognized properly. As for the mis-assignment of the key positions, is there no way to reassign these in the keyboard control panel item in Windows? I see that under the Control Panel "Region and Language" item, if one chooses the tab entitled "Keyboards and Languages" and then the "Change Keyboards" button, followed by the "Add" button, there is an option for "United States-International (Apple)". Does that keyboard layout solve the problem?

Firefox cannot load pages that other browsers can, but the 'help' page for this issue did not fix the problem.

I am troubleshooting an issue occurring on a family member's pc. Immediately after changing their "search" settings from "Yahoo search" to "Google search", they found that Firefox was unable to load any webpages. After troubleshooting the problem, I found the "Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can" help page, and attempted each of the solutions listed. None of those solutions fixed the issue. Also, I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox; the issue persists. However, the 'new' version of Firefox remembered the tabs left open when the 'old' version was deleted, so some temporary files likely persisted.
Are there any other steps that can be taken, or is Firefox on this computer no longer an option?

Audio drops and Screen position lock issues

Since upgrading to 4.0.1 I now have the screen lock icon (like the ipad) to the left of the clock. And the Audio drops all the time, music plays BUT no volume. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

Ok,found the solution to unlock the screen orientation in either portrait or landscape mode. Found by double clicking the home button (multi-tasking)
As for the audio not working, still have NOT found the solution.

The CSS type selector ... was not processed, because this issue is not fixed in Flash Builder 4.

I've had to filter out this useless warning since FB2, can't we get this removed or provide us with the ability in Flash Builder to turn on/off various types of warnings and errors? Eclipse has this for Java, Adobe should use that as a basis and add a similar feature.
Unless there's another way to hide this useless warning I'm not aware of? Anyone using any kind of Flex theme that comes with a complete css style for all UI classes must be seeing this junk, but what's the point?

Was hoping this silly warning would go away by the time FB4 came out, but nope. So I am back to agitate.
Does this even NEED to be a warning? What's the harm in some unused css? Actually, if the compiler is so smart that it can figure out that the css is unused, it should also be smart enough to ignore it entirely, right?

This is for EVERY unused class. Makes it somewhat inconvenient (obscures real warnings and errors that you actually care about) to re-use css files, which is part of the point of using css in the first place.

4.2.1 Does Not Fix" Crash-on-screen saver" bug or metadata issues

ATV2 crashes as soon as it goes to screen saver. 4.2.1 does not fix this. WTC?
You have to set screen saver to "Never" to prevent crashing.
No one checks these things?

I have a similar problem. I restored my iPhone 5 to the latest available OS. After completing the process the phone never restarted. The phone was fully charged when I restored it but now refuses to charge past the red battery icon. I have been able to get the phone in UFD mode several times and have been able to load the new OS on the phone. The Apple logo does come on and the software fully loads. iTunes tells me the phone will restart but never does. I left it to charge all night but it never appeared to load the battery. This morning I went to the Grand Central Terminal apple store for help. A woman at the store plugged the phone in but it never charged. She absolutely refused to believe that I got my phone in UFD mode and loaded any software on. I don't think it is a battery issue. The only solution I was given was to buy a new phone. Repairing it was out of the question. At this point the phone is completely useless. Thanks in advance for the help.

Wallpaper still does not fit to screen, why hasn't this been fixed yet

It has been months and the apple people still have not fixed the issue with the wallpaper not scaling, this has been an issue since the release of ios7 and has become a real pain in the you know what, you mean to tell me the thousands of pictures I have on this and I'm not able to have one on my background without it being ridiculously scaled beyond belief, it was tolerable the first month but still even after today's update they still haven't fixed it, enough is enough apple stop being a big fixer and get off your butts and fix this please

It is frustrating that Apple can't fix their own utility. Scaling simply does not work.
Try one of the third party apps.
I use 'iOS 7 Wallpaper Fix. You need to scale the image a little smaller than full screen to give a full screen wallpaper . But it works great.

ACR 7.1 RC Issue Not Fixed in ACR 7.1

The issue I identified in ACR 7.1RC is not fixed in the production release of ACR 7.1. Maybe I did not explain this in enough detail, it's very easy to miss.
1. Select a RAW file that was previously adjusted using PV2010. When you open the file with ACR 7.1 it will open with PV2010 since the xmp file was saved with that process version.
2. Click on the "!" next to the image and it changes to PV2012 with suggested slider settings. Adjust one of the sliders in the Basic Panel - this is very important becasue if you don't adjust a slider the issue does not show up.
3. With the Basic Panel still selected, click on the three dashes to the right of the Basic Panel to get the pop down menu and select "Image Settings". The image changes back to PV2010 with settings that are saved in the XMP file. Now click on the three dashed again to get the pop down menu and "Custom Settings" is checked, but the image is displaying PV2010, not PV2012 like it should if "Custom Settings" is checked. You just lost your PV2012 settings. ACR 7.0 does not have this issue.
4. If in #3 above you select another panel before you click "Image Setting" the first time you can switch between PV2010 and PV2012 by clicking "Image Settings" for PV2010 and "Custom Settings" for PV2012. After you do this first in a panel other than the Basic Panel for the first time you can then do it in the Basic Panel without the problem occuring.
I discovered this while converting images that were adjusted using PV2010 to PV2012 and like to compare the two Process Versions. I did not have any problems with ACR 7.0, but when I installed ACR 7.1RC the issue occured. I was hoping it would be resolved in the Production Release of ACR 7.1, but it's still there.
I am using Photoshop CS6 on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit computer, don't know if this same issue exists in Lightroom.

None of the issues reported on this forum have been fixed in Camera Raw 7.1, near as I can see.
The Camera Raw 7.1 software was built on May 15, but Adobe appears to ignore beta feedback unless it's a real show-stopper. I can only imagine the definition of "show-stopper" must include users' systems actually catching fire or something.
Camera Raw 7.1 puts columnar color artifacts like this into images, for example:
Compare the above to the same conversion done with Camera Raw 7.0:
Plus Adobe has removed several color-fringing reduction features without providing suitable substitutes.
I recommend eveyone avoid upgrading to this release.

Serious issue with VLC (even downgrade does not fix it?!?)

I tried downgrading VLC back to 2.1.2, which used to work, but at my unpleasant surprise it crashes with the same error:

During upgrade I noticed strange segfault whilst updating the VLC:

I tried downgrading glibc back to 2.8.12 (and all dependencies), but the error persists.

NOTE:
In my /etc/pacman.conf, I've got following packages set to ignore:

This is because I have to stick with 3.10.10 kernel, 9.2.0 ati-dri, 1.14.4 Xserver and 1.5.3 libgcrypt (XServer dependency) because if I upgrade any of these packages, I end up with unbootable system (my laptop HP Compaq nx9420 RU478EA has got old ATI Radeon X1600 that obviously is not supported anymore with mesa 10 and kernel 3.11 and newer).
Any ideas about how to make VLC work? It is my favourite video and DVB-T TV player...

In the meantime I've solved the boot problem (see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=178789) and I've been tracing steps to find out why VLC segfaults.
So, I've pulled the latest VLC from their git and went on compiling. Of course, make failed while generating plugins.dat file. Target that builds that file uses vlc-cache-gen utility that segfaults. I've taken the liberty of modifying the source code and adding various printf's throughout the code to pinpoint the source code line that segfaults.
The trace of vlc-cache-gen's source code showed me that segfault happens while calling libvlc_new function. I've traced eve further and found that segfaults happens in calling module_LoadPlugins (line ~153 in src/libvlc.c inside libvlc_InternalInit - note that line numbers have offset because of my printf's). Tracing even deeper guided me to function module_InitDynamic inside src/modules/bank.c (somewhere around line 638). For some plugins module_Load function call worked and for some segfaulted.
By taking a look of implementation of module_Load function in src/posix/plugin.c, I've found out that line that segfaults is "module_handle_t handle = dlopen (path, flags);" when trying to load "../modules/.libs/libnotify_plugin.so", i.e. the issue is not in VLC, but in dlopen. I've tried removing libnotify_plugin.so from generated .libs/ plugins, but then segfault appeared on libkate_plugin.so. Moreover, I had to remove following plugins to avoid the segfault:

gui/qt4/libqt4_plugin.so
After removing those plugins, vlc-cache-gen did the job, but VLC still didn't work because obviously it requires at least libqt4_plugin.
I've also tried reinstalling libnotify and then rebuilding VLC, but I've got nevertheless segfault on dlopen of libnotify_plugin.so and other mentioned libraries.
How should I approach the problem now? Obviously something is wrong with dlopen - this explains why downgrading the VLC didn't fix the issue. How to debug dlopen? GDB backtrace of dlopen gives me following trace:

My guess that one of the strings in g_str_equal is either NULL or points to freed memory. But how to verify that?

The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.
