Screen resolution exteral monitor for philips 22PFL4505D/F7 monitor

what do i need for the screen resolution exteral monitor - philips 22PFL4505D/F7 monitor
on a macbook
thank you!
it works - it is just not clear

The 13.3" screen on the MacBook running at 1280 x 800 will have a ppi (pixels per inch) of around 113. A 22" monitor running 1680 x 1050 will have a ppi of around 90. So it is natural that it will look magnified compared with the MacBook. The two displays have different a pixel pitch.
Since there are no monitors with ~113 ppi out there in the market, what you want to do with having the same size and sharpness between the MB and a monitor will not be possible.
If you ran the MB's screen at 1024 x 640 (not even sure if that is an available choice), then the two screens would match in terms of "magnification." But the MB isn't going to look very sharp running such a low, non-native format.

  • Another feature to allow users to change screen resolution to HD for gaming

I liked k3 Note, smartphone which is filled with lots of professional features. Can you add a control to change screen resolution to HD for games. Lots of people are there which are thinking that other phones' gpu are better and the Mali t760 m2 not so good.

    Hi
In case someone else encounters the same problem, here is some more information.
The high refresh rate is quite visible in Device Manager. It would refresh every one or two seconds. The cause seems to be a conflict between a Fingerprint software installed during the Task sequence and the Validity Sensors Drivers.
I made a Scan for hardware change in Device manager and saw that a few devices were appearing as unknown. Right click, update drivers from local cache solved the problem.
I cancelled install of the fingerprint software and did not encounter the problem anymore.

  • Best screen resolution and output for CBT

What would be the best screen resolution and output mode IYO for a CBT (Computer Based Training) program?  We would like to do either CD or online.  We are toying with either, so which do you think would be a better option for what Captivate is capable of?  Thanks!

    Nclarkats,
While most of our employees have similar screen resolutions, a few have larger (or smaller) set ups and since we wish to avoid horizontal and vertical scroll bars; we publish with Captivate's 800 x 600 setting.  This allows us to get a bit larger imagery in place.
Whatever you choose, try and pick something and stay consistent.  This is beneficial in the event you have to transfer slides between modules.
    Hope that helps.

  • Which Laptop Screen resolution is best for use with Onlocation?

    The choices are:
    WUXGA 1920x1200
    WSXGA+ 1680x1050
    WXGA+ 1440x900
    WXGA 1280x800
Also is a glossy (glare type)
or a mat finish screen better?

I should have mentioned earlier that the screen size of the proposed notebook is 15.4" and that most of my video work is in doors (live theater).

  • Screen Resolution for ALL monitors

IN FLASH MX, I set my screen resolution to 760px (width) x
560px (height). My monitor screen resolution is 1152x864. It looks
fine at that monitor screen resolution. HOWEVER, the website looks
h-u-g-e on monitor screen resolution 1024x768. It looks elongated
    on monitor screen resolution 1280x768.
So I am wondering what is the best screen resolution to set
when in Flash? that will look good on all monitor screen
    resolutions?
    [email protected]

I have four files that show my settings plus another file
that shows the code that comes automatically. Not sure how to
attach the files with this reply.
My monitor setting is 1152x864. My movie setting is 760x560.
I am not sure what you mean by embedding in HTML. I thought
    that came automatically.
My movie might be 760x560 but on a monitor screen 1024x768,
my site is huge because the screen is smaller. And on a monitor
screen 1280x768, my site becomes elongated.
I am working solely in Flash, no Dreamweaver. I thought the
    target to HTML is automatic.
I need to solve the situation of being huge on 1024x768 and
the situation of becoming elongated on 1280x768.

  • Recommended screen resolution for SAP CRM 2006s/5.2

    Hi All
Any idea that what is the recommended screen resolution by SAP for SAP CRM 2006s / .2 Web UI ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Vishal Mani

    Hello Vishal,
This is John Burton, the guy who created the note that Stephen referred to (SAP note 764974). I don't think you will get a general recommendation from SAP regarding screen resolution and/or browser size requirement for a number of reasons. (The following are just my thoughts and don't necessarily represent the official views of SAP or anyone else).
    1) Screen resolution is a somewhat personal choice varying by user and preference.
    2) Technology changes very frequently and large wide-screen high-resolution monitors are becomming increasingly available.
    3) The CRM WebClient supports a variety of different business roles and types of users; it is conceivable for example that an Interaction Center agent might be able to get by with a fairly small, low-resolution monitor while an analyst or supervisor might need two separate wide-screen high-resolution monitors in order to have various reports and other applications open at once.
    4) And of course, no company wants to play the "bad guy" and make end users angry by giving a recommendation for very low-end, small low-resolution VGA monitors, or risk upsetting CFOs by giving a recommendation for very expensive wide-screen high-resolution LCD monitors
I'm sorry that I couldn't give you a more "official" answer.
    Warm regards,
    John

    Hi,
When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it won't support, the screen will go black for a few seconds while the monitor reverts back to the original resolution.
Regarding screen resolution, we may follow the below two articles to change it:
    Change your screen resolution
Getting the best display on your monitor
    Follow the steps below:
    1. Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button, clicking
Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
2.Click the drop-down list next to Resolution. Check for the resolution marked (recommended). This is your LCD monitor's native resolution—usually the highest resolution your monitor can support.
And if the monitor is LCD monitor, The monitor's  manufacturer or reseller should also be able to tell you the native resolution for your LCD monitor.  Or we may check the monitor's manual to adjust.
    Best regards

  • Auto-Detect Screen Resolution Does Not Work Across Multiple Monitors With Different Resolutions

    Hi,
The Acrobat Pro DC (15.007.20033.2203) auto-detect screen resolution feature does not work with multiple monitors at different resolutions.  Acrobat looks fine on my hidpi primary laptop display (Razr 14" 2014) but is completely unusable if I drag or extend the application to a standard HD resolution secondary monitor. Dragging Acrobat from my primary desktop display to the secondary display causes the UI elements to become 2x as large as they should be and makes Acrobat unusable.
Is there a way to make Acrobat auto-detect the display that it is currently on?
    Thanks!
    -Donald

To prevent it from happing again, you can
    1. go to the Mouse preference and turn off the scroll zoom feature.
    2. go to the Universal Access preference and disable the zoom features.

  • Need help finding a good monitor for a Power Macintosh G5 Dual Core (2.0)

    Hi
I've owned Macs since the 90's - the past 7 years have been using Imacs...  I'm going to purchase a Power Macintosh G5 Dual Core (2.0) with the Nvidia 6600LE card.  Whats a decent monitor for it?  It's DVI output only as far as I can tell - I want at least a 22 or 24 inch monitor and want a fairly inexpensive one as I'm a poor man (Social Security disability).  Can anyone suggest one - I can't tell what screen resolutions are optimal for the card (googled till my eyes hurt) if I knew that I could start hunting CompUSA, Sams Club, etc.

Check out newegg.com. I just got the same G5 you have this past summer and a couple months ago finally decided it was time to ditch the old 21" CRT Viewsonic Ive been using for years.
I picked up a 21" Acer widescreen HD LCD on sale for $119.00 from newegg and could not have been happier..
Ive never bought anything from Acer before but its so far got no complaints from me other then, the DVI cable they give you is the wrong type to use with your G5's video card. Lucky for me it had a DVI-VGA adapter so I could get running. Its running just fine at 1900x1200 without any dual link DVI connecter.
One thing I like about newegg is you get to read user reviews and they are not afraid to tell you if something is bad. Theyve always got different models and brands rotating on and off sale so check em out and make sure you check the reviews and you can find a killer deal.
I think the Viewsonics I looked at in the same size were around $199 or so.. I wouldve got one but Im a broke and jobless kinda guy nowadays so had to get one as cheap as I could..

  • Adobe Reader 9.3.4 causes poor screen resolution and unreadable pdf documents. Why?

When I open Reader (9.3.4) the screen resolution becomes very poor - like a color monitor from the early 80's - and text in pdf documents is highlighted black or some other random color, making it unreadable.  This has been the case since I upgraded from Reader 8 recently. Any ideas on how to fix this?

To those that tried to assist me with trying to get Reader to display
    correctly.  Thanks for your assistance.
I resolved the problem  by doing a backup of all my files, then formatting the hard drive and reinstalling all programs, from XP to Trend Micro, to Office 2003 and finally Reader 9.
The problem has gone and the speed and stability of my PC has been greatly improved.

  • Print design and retina mac laptop screen resolution?

print designer here considering buying a retina mac laptop but concerned about the screen resolution and 2x pixels that i keep on reading about. For preparing artwork for PRINTshould i continue preparing my images at 300dpi at 100@ of the final size? thanks so much, claudia.

There are only a couple choices. Either return the monitor for a brand name monitor that is Mac compatible, or use third-party software (DisplayConfigX or SwitchRes X) to make up for the Optiquest's display driver deficiency and configure the required 1280 x 1024 timing manually.

  • 800 x 600 screen resolution

    hi there,
i'm wondering if the majority of people out there no longer
use the 800 x 600 screen resolution anymore. i used to have it
years ago, but over the last few years the standard monitor seems
to be 1024 x 768. i know that we have to check our designs to also
accommodate the 800 x 600 viewer, but wondering how common that is
anymore? any thoughts? is it getting to be obsolete?

    > Screen resolution is irrelevant. All that matters is
    browser viewport
    > size. Browser viewport sizes can be anything.
I disagree. If you are looking to be able to display your
    site without it
scaling and without the user having to scroll, screen
    resolution is vital.
It defines the maximum 'browser viewport size'. The viewable
    browsing area
is of course important - this is generally *less* than the
    screen
resolution, to allow for toolbars etc.
Denise - w3schools have some stats on this:

  • How to turn off "screen resolution" warning in iPhoto?

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on a Mac mini (Late 2012), 2.3 GHz, 4 GB memory, iPhoto version 9.5.1 (902.17). I get the "screen resolution not optimal for iPhoto" warning repetitively about once every 15 minutes as long as iPhoto is running. I have set the resolution to my preference and I don't mind seeing this warning once when I start iPhoto, but it gets annoying. How can I set iPhoto to stop doing this?

Is there a reason, why you do not update to the Yosemite compatible version iPhoto 9.6? I never get the warning, you are reporting, if the iPhoto window can fit the screen, with MacOS X 10.10.2 and iPhoto 9.6.1.
