Screen settings for Appointment

Dear CRM Wizards,
The field "Reference Doc" in the Overview screen of the Appointment is showing "greyed". I want it enabled for entry.
After Checking the applicable role for the same and accessing the BSP WD Workbench, I find that the field is NOT set for being greyed but shows as "Input field" and the "display" check box isn't ticked. But still the field is showing in "display mode" (greyed) on the web page.
I attempt to change the lable for it and the CHANGED label gets to be seen on the screen / page on subsequent log-in but the display settings are not getting changed.
Kindly enlighten where am I going wrong.

Hi Tariq,
Please create a object reference profile for the type of document you want to refer in appointment. For eg. if you want to assign a campaign to Appointment, then create a object reference profile with value as Campaign (Under Transaction ->Basic Settings).
Then assign this obj. ref. profile to the tx. type of your appointment.
Now in webui, u will get an option to choose ref. type and suppose you choose campaign as ref. type, then the ref. document field will get enabled and it will feature a value help by which you can search and choose your campaing and refer it to your appointment.

  • Best screen settings for Quake 4 on 24" iMac?

    Hi,
    I'm having trouble with the screen resolutions on my 24" Aluminium imac when trying to play Quake 4.
    It only seems to fill the screen at either 1200 x 800 (16.10) or 1920 x 1200 (16.10).
    The first setting plays the game pretty quick but doesn't look so great, the escond setting looks great but plays poor.
    My question is how come a resouloution somewhere in between is not available, they all give me black lines around the sides or top.
    Can anybody please post with their settings?

    The problem is with LCD's are there is only one native resolution any other resolution will not look as sharp. The 24" iMac's native resolution is 1920 x 1200. Now you could choose 1600 x 1200 with it not stretched and that should look sharp because the resolution matches the pixels being used. But you will have the black bars on each side. I have not played Quake 4 but you might try lowering the graphics settings and see if it plays any better at 1920 x 1200.

  • Screen settings for Apple TV.

    When I use my iPad on Apple TV, the picture does not fill up the screen. I'm using the 3rd generation iPad with iOS 6.1.2. If I'm watching a movie, I get full screen. When I'm just looking at iPad opening screen, it is much smaller.
    Is there some setting I can change to go full screen?  Thanks.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
    Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
    Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
    Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
    Open iTunes.
    Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

    No. Reopen Boot Camp Assistant and click on the Continue button. You'll see in that screen a checkbox to download drivers. Check that box and uncheck the other boxes. Have a freshly formatted USB flash drive or hard drive connected. Must be partitioned MBR and formatted FAT32. You can format it while in Windows. Have it connected when you use Boot Camp Assistant. Once you click on the Continue button again BCA will attempt to download the drivers.
    Once you have the drivers boot Windows. It should autorun the installer you downloaded after Windows gets itself settled in.

  • Screen settings and sizing.

    Hello All
    After selecting the columns to display and column sizes for any one Marketing Document screen, example the Sales Order screen, is there a way I can copy or duplicate this screen settings for all the other Marketing Doc screens, instead having to fix each one of them manually?

    Doesn't sound like it.  It sounds like you're being logged-off.
    Does your Mac go through the complete Restart cycle -- black screen, gray and/or blue screen momentarily, startup chime, etc? 
    If you're not sure, do a Restart just to watch the process; the next time the problem occurs, see if it's the same.
    You need to know which it is, as these will have very different causes, and different places to look for a solution.

    Hi Rowby!
    Thanks so much for writing in about green screen shooting with the EOS 5D Mark III camera.  Green screen shooting can come down to some crucial elements and how well you handle the camera and the lighting.  
    Arguably the most important thing is to have excellent lighting on the screen.  Without this, the keys used to replace the green screen will not be accurate.  So hopefully you have a good set of lights you will be using to actually light the physical screen. 
    With regards to ISO, shoot as low as possible.  We suggest that you stick in the ISO 200-400 range where possible.  With good, high key, proper lighting on the screen this shouldn't be an issue. 
    Aperture should actually be in the higher end of the range, you would want to stick to apertures around f/8 and above.  Again, with adequate lighting this shouldn't be out of reach.  This is so the green screen is more in focus, versus having it out of focus, which would not yield successful results. 
    Use an appropriate lens to the subject, for example if you are doing wide shots- use only the focal length needed for the shoot and no wider.  For head shots, close ups- use a lens that will get you close. 
    Following these suggestions should give you some pretty good results.  Remember, if this is your first attempt don't be discouraged, green screen shooting can be difficult to accomplish.

  • Custom Sequence Settings for Split Screen

    Hello all,
    FCP 6. I am doing a split screen where I am combining two 720x480 videos side by side. I did the whole project by scaling down both videos to match whatever the sequence settings were. How can I create a custom canvas/ sequence size to avoid scaling down the frames and cutting on the image quality?
    I created a custom sequence setting doubling the width to 1440 and keeping height at 480.
    Can I copy and paste the clips from the old sequence without the scaled down quality to the new sequence? How can I do that?
    If I open a new sequence is the new setting going to be in effect?
    Any other suggestions on how to deal with custom size frame/ split screen?

    Thank you for help! Does make sense. I did all like you suggested. After removing 'basic motion' and pasting into new sequence, the clips appeared big default size instead of small. I re-applied motion attribute like you said, but isn't it scaling down again since I am sizing from big to small (50%) again?
    It looks good on the screen but I am not sure about actual resolution of the clip. In clip-item properties-format I read frame size but I am not sure if this info is about the source file or the clip.
    I would like to get around this issue without scaling down (keeping the scale in motion tab at 100%).
    The way I tried to deal with the scaling and res before I got your answer, was after I changed the 'global' settings for the custom 1440x480 sequence, and after creating a new sequence, I went to sequence settings again (from top menu) and set to custom (1440x480) (with just global settings the pasted clips looked like before). After copying and pasting with removed attributes-distort, all was in the original right/left order normal size and resolution.
    The way I tried seems to meet my need (as pasting attributes-motion to all again would be complicated as the design of the project does not stick to the clearly left/right pattern but fluctuates back and forth at times and there is too many short clips).
    The only problem I have now is with the RENDER.
    After I rendered what I did to your suggested solution and mine (two sequences), the whole project shows in low res. I checked the render settings in Sequence-Render Control, and both resolution and frame rate are set to 100% so I dont know what I do wrong.
    Any suggestions??

  • Export settings for high quality, high resolution screen cast

    I am trying to use iMovie for editing some software demo screen casts, and while my movie looks dandy in iMovie shown full screen, my final export looks like there is a lot of compression and antialiasing going on.
    I am starting with a 1920X1080 screen capture via iShowU HD Pro, using Animation as the compression type. For final output I am using the Export using QuickTime option, and I have tried MPEG-4 at Best Quality, H.264 with Best Quality Compression and Multi-pass Encoding, and both look pretty bad. Anyone have any recommendations on the best export settings for a screen cast? Especially one that I would ultimately like to make available cross platform as well as via iTunes?

    I understand iMovie 6 won't compress the import. Everyone complained when apple changed away from iMovie 6 and but a link to download ILife6 (no cost) but they have since removed the link. I am looking for ILife 6 myself to get an uncompressed import if you find it please post so I can get it too, thx dan

  • Why does iphone 5 not use whole screen viewing for videos also when using iplayer app it only works on iphone 4 screen settings. why can we not have whole screen displaying image.

    I have a iphone 5, I was dissapointed that when watching iplayer the screen settings are same as iphone 4 so end user has no joy enjoying the big screen , I have noticed youtube does the same,

    It hasent been updated to support iphone 5 screen size yet, it will come in time.

    I have a user not able to see the whole Analyzer view due to their client pc settings for screen size being set at 800x600. I created the Anazler views with my setting at 1024x768. I need the Analyzer server to make all of the views to be 100% instead of using pixels.

    After the Verizon Galaxy S4 Kit Kat update: I can no longer sync my email accounts. I get a "email sync turned off" message. when I go to the SYNC settings (stttings-accounts-email-settings-account settings-sync settings) there is NO option to turn sync setting back "ON"

        Hello hdlane, let's get to the bottom of this together! To turn on sync settings for email, scroll down from the top of the home screen. At the top right there is a button with three squares & two arrows facing in opposite directions. This is the "More Settings" section. Press this option and it iwill open a list. Near the bottom of the list turn on sync and the emails will update.

  • IPhone 5, Is there a way to stop screen rotation for specific apps?

    The automatic screen rotation feature is useful - sometimes, and just plain annoying other times.  I prefer to read my e-mail in portrait mode, however the slightest movement or rotation while doing so will cause the screen to rotate (with the phone generally still in portrait position).  I then have to shake the phone to get it to rotate back.  This is very annoying.
    I would like to be able to lock the screen rotation for only a single app (e.g. mail) while still keeping it active for the camera, or videos.  Many of the book programs that I use, have this feature built-in, however this question is for apps that do not have this built-in.
    The built in rotation lock is all-or-nothing, and is generally a pain to use.  It adds another step to just about everything I do (If I read mail, then want to view a video, I have to go back and unlock it).
    Is there a way to lock the screen rotation for a specific app?

    I would have expected this function to be available in settings where the application specific settings are located.  (At least for the major applications like e-mail).

  • Java WebDynpro's and IE security settings for file download

    We have a EP 7.0 SP13 environment on which we have deployed a number of own developed java webdynpro's. In some of these webdynpro's we provide the file download functionality. The portal and webdynpro's are used by both internal personnel and external customers.
    On the other hand the default Internet security settings for Internet Explorer, disable "Automatic prompting for file downloads".
    When a user, with these default security settings active, tries to use our webdynpro's file download functionality, the screen seems to refreshes but no file download starts. When (s)he retries, the session runs for some minutes and gives following error message:
    "com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.session.LockException: Thread SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_20 failed to acquire exclusive lock on client session ClientSession".
    This behavior is explained in SAPNote 1234847. Webdynpro provides a single-thread module, meaning a user session is blocked for the during of the request. And because the previous file download isn't yet completed the new try can't start.
    Issue now, although the users IE settings allow file downloads and don't block pop up's, he can't download the file and even isn't made aware of the cause of the failure.
    How can we avoid this issue, without having to communicate the
    application requires specific browser settings?

    Sure sounds like a Facebook setting. When you look at your Privacy Settings in Facebook (on facebook.com), you should see something under "Apps you use" that says
    Turn off your ability to use apps, plugins, and websites on and off Facebook. After you turn this off, we will not store information about you when you use apps or websites off Facebook.
    The "Turn off" is a hyperlink that shuts down the Facebook platform. If you don't see this, or if the wording is different, you may have (inadvertently?) shut this off, and should be able to turn it back on.
    Edit: The sequence to that screen on facebook.com is: Privacy Settings (from the upper right dropdown), then "Ads, Apps and Websites" will have an "Edit settings" link to the right. This is where you'll see the "Apps you use" screen.
