Screen sharing multiple ipads?

Situation: We have an iPad2 and a few other ipads. we frequently do business presentations using keynote.
Question: We want to run the presentation on the ipad 2 and screen-share to the other ipads instead of using a projector. Can we do this?

is there a way to run a presentation per above--controlling all the screens in the room, but using different software or system configurations? E.g., a minorly interactive PDF.
At minimum I'd like to drive the presentation: advance, jump (simple HTML nav?), enlarge, and reposition (possibly allowing viewers to do the same).
Is this too much t ask?

  • Screen-sharing an iPad App into Adobe Connect Platform

    Hello,
I am looking to screen-share an iPad application (not the Adobe Connect App) in an upcoming Webcast.
What is the best method to do this, while still retaining the highest quality share?
    Thanks!
    -Matt

I have used reflector to share a whiteboard app from my ipad, and it appears to work at first. However, when also using a webcam in a video pod, the Adobe connect plugin crashes when I switch layouts. Has anybody else tried this successfully in a live webinar?
    Thanks.

I found a few by searching the web for "ipad art installation".

    Hi!
If I'm having a Skype call with multiple people and more than one wants to share their screen at the same time, how would we go about doing this?
I want to be able to watch two "screen-shares" at the same time.
    Is it even possible?
    Thanks beforehand,

To do this you are going to need some third party program. Try using Teamviewer or Join.me

  • 10.7.2 Breaks Screen Sharing Login

After updating to Lion 10.7.2 I receive a blank grey screen with no user login infomation when I access my MacBook Pro using TightVNC. 10.7.1 and prior releases worked correctly with user pictures painted onto the grey screen to allow login account selection.
I have stopped and started Screen Sharing multiple times with the same results.
    Any suggestions?

Tight VNC Viewer runs on Windows 7 and is used to connect to PCs running VNC such as Mac OS X with Screen Sharing enabled. Tight VNC has never been installed on the Mac OS X box.
The only difference between when this worked and when it stopped working is the 10.7.2 update which seems to have broken VNC.

  • Multiple iPads, need to be able to Push apps from home office

We have sent iPads out to all of our external sales reps and regional sales directors (about 17 total).  Each one has a different Apple ID because we forward our exchange e-mail to their Apple ID's,and we do not give out the password to their Apple ID's so they can't download whatever they want onto the iPad.  Some iPads were not sent out with the necessary apps to do business, and we would like to be able to push Apps from one computer to every iPad (this may become necessary in the future for all of them if we want to have them have new apps and not have 17 different iPads mailed back to the home office).  I saw the help page of sharing multiple iPads with one computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1495), but does this also work with Apps and not just music?
At the home office all computers have XP and we have no Macs. Are we even able to push if we have XP?
Thanks for any help, even if this isn't possible.

Unfortunately alot of the apps we need are free, so this could work if we get Paid apps but the main app right now doesn't seem like it would work with this (Salesforce for iPad). Thanks though!
I'm trying to find the right people here to find out what security measures we have in place to prevent the logging out part, but another thing I thought of could be to create another apple id for the iPads just for the store. I know my personal phone has two apple id's because my original one (connected to the store) is so old that it can't be used for Find My Friends, but I don't know if we could have another apple id on the ipads (the one for the e-mail would be different for each one, the one for the store would be one I or someone else at the home office manages just for iPad apps). Hope that made sense.
It does turn out that we have one Mac and one computer with Windows 7 (Mac is a development computer that doesn't have much memory left and Windows 7 computer doesn't have a monitor yet plus it is also for testing), so I'm going to ask my boss if I can get a dedicated Mac for this or a new operating system. I also need to ask for an iPad so I can see what the users see, but thats another story.

  • Does Apple has any screen sharing software.

I want to know if Apple has any software by which I can share my IPAD's screen (desktop) of IPAD to any other IPAD or system (Like HP laptops) OR I can see other peoples screen (desktop) from my IPAD. Is it possible between IPAD to IPAD screen sharing or IPAD to other systems is also possible.

    Hi.
I browsed around myself to see what's available.
I have the use case that my kids should be able watching video in the back of the car. Having to Ipad 2 would be great and interconnect with the same video. Of course they can watch tha same video but originating from the respective ipad. But in that case they must have headphone. I would like the two ipad's to sync and they can watch the same video that is linked from the one screen to the other. I'm afraid that some apps like "ideaflight" introduces time lag.
What do you say? I'm probably not the only having this idea.

  • How can I use multiple ipad's on one account without sharing individuals personal email accounts?

Is it possible to have multiple ipads on one account and share info, but also allow the individual users to have personal email that is not seen on the other ipad's? We have all ipads on same icloud account because we all need to see the same ical. It seems like that's the problem. If it IS related to icloud then if we have separate icloud accounts, how would we share the main ical otherwise? Sharing the ical is very important for this business so everyone can access the daily schedule. Of course each user still wants to have private email.
    Hope this wasn't too confusing!
    Thanks!
    Doreen

you could set up the main icloud itunes acount for ical and not have in setup on the devices
and share the calandar with the other itunes accounts on the devices
or only have it on one device
devices have the users indervidual itunes icloud setup
they should be able to access the shared "main" itunes icloud ical account once it's shared
    http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57542557-285/three-methods-for-sharing-an-ic loud-calendar/
if the devices are company owned you could go futher and setup find my iphone on the main itunes account
and not on the user icloud accounts

  • How can I have multiple users on iTunes (in order to connect to a shared office iPad)?

How can I have multiple users on iTunes (in order to connect to a shared office iPad)? Currently each of us has our own iTunes account, so I've made an "all office" Apple ID. However, I can't seem to get two different accounts (my personal and the office) to work on my machine. Even when I login as "the office", my personal library is still showing. Additionally, when I try to setup with a first-time use in iTunes, I get an error that I don't meet the minimum age requirement - no matter what birthdate I enter!

The library exists regardless of which user is logged in.
The only way around that is to create different user accounts on the computer.
There is no way to have 20 unique iTunes users access a shared iTunes under a single login on the computer.

  • Screen sharing and multiple users

I have an iMac at home that is used by multiple family members. I have multiple logins enable so it is common to have 2-3 accounts logged in at once. I would like to use screen sharing to connect to my account even when one of the kids is logged into their account.
I started by looking at the vnc processes. There is one process that run as root:
    root 21792 0.0 0.0 2437128 1736 ?? Ss 12:25PM 0:00.02 /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/AppleVNCServer.bundle/Contents/Su pport/RFBRegisterMDNS
Then there is another process for each person logged in:
    username 22006 0.0 0.3 2734876 13964 ?? S 12:33PM 0:00.29 /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/AppleVNCServer.bundle/Contents/Ma cOS/AppleVNCServer
So I have two questions. One is how can there be three processes running that listen on the same 5900 port at the same time and how does it decide which one to connect a vnc client to? My second question is how can I prevent the AppleVNCServer process from starting for each user. I've tried killing those processes but they respawn immediately.

    Hi
Thank you for your answer. Sorry to have been unclear - I'll give it another go :o)
Here is what I am trying to do:
I have 2 users (Plex and Ursus) that I want to have logged on at the same time. Plex will be "in the front" i.e. that is the screen that is seen if you are at the mini. Ursus is a user that is logged on but you cannot currently see (i.e. in the back as it where). I would like to work using the user Ursus (to, for example, rip a movie from a DVD (that I own of course :o).
Using file sharing would mean that I have 2 machines running and that I need to copy all the files from the one machine to the other, not exactly what I want but manageable.
I have managed to get this "partly" working - I am using Vine Server for Mac (http://www.testplant.com/products/vineserver/OSX) which allows me to start a VNC server on e.g. port 5901 and then screen share to that session. If I setup the second user (Ursus in this case) to use this server then I can connect to the "back" user. The only problem being that Vine Server seems to crash with Plex - as soon as I start it Plex just hangs and randomly crashes!
    Was that clearer?
    Thanks again
    Ursus

  • IPhoto for iPad sharing multiple pics

I am trying to share photos to my camera roll, but only get the option to share one at a time. The share multiple is greyed out. Is there any way of sharing multiple photos to roll?

    Greetings,
To make an edited image go to Photo Stream you need to share that image to the camera roll as detailed here: http://help.apple.com/iphoto/ipad/1.0/#blnkee26bc1f.  This can only be done 1 image at a time.  If you would like to see the ability to send multiple images to the camera roll at the same time, let Apple know:http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto_ios.html
    Cheers.

  • Is it possible for multiple users to use a "generic" account simultaneously without screen sharing?

Hey and thanks for checking out the thread.
I am wondering if it is possible to have users use a generic account at the same time without any sort of screen sharing.
I have set up a generic user account (for example useraccount, password 1234) for users to use in the time before I can set up a custom user name for them. However, I have run into some issues with this.
When multiple users log on using this generic account, their applications seem to be shared on each screen. In the room with multiple Mac workstations, if someone starts working on Photoshop, Photoshop will open on every one elses screen who is logged on under that generic account.
Is it possible for users to log on using a generic network account and have their own isolated work environment or is this sort of sharing a feature? I am new to Mac servers and am not sure.
    Thanks for reading the thread.

That shared-account approach seems impractical for the various reasons you've identified, as well as the inevitable issue of cleaning up the detritus that'll inevitably build up in a shared account, and for the lack of accountability for activities occuring under the shared account for both auditing and security, and sharing directories would tend to introduce obscure conflicts around which-file-version-wins file updates when the same file is used in several places, and would probably be contrary to any per-user application software licensing agreements that might be involved.
Put another way, get unique accounts created for folks, and work toward the ability to create accounts for arriving folks, and — if it's applicable here — talk to management about getting any per-user software licensing issues sorted out, whether that's having spare copies purchased and ahead or some advanced notice on accounts, or establishing group software licensing where that's available.
AFAIK, there are tools around which can automate account creation, too.  Either generic, a tool such as Passenger, or it's certainly feasible to script the account creation sequence.
Trying this shared-access generic-account approach just looks like it can create more work and more hassles and more effort to me...

  • How do you get multiple screens on the iPad with iOS 5.1.1?

How do you get multiple screens on the iPad with iOS 5.1.1? We just upgraded to iOS 5.1.1, and we see no way to be able to open multiple screens at once. Before, there was a small button in the upper portion of any window. That button would take you from a particular window to the place where multiple windows are open at once. Does it do it differently? Is there a special setting button that we have missed? Thanks!
One more thing: We are only talking about Safari.

    Guitaristica-
I don't think I've seen a way to have separate Safari screens visible at the same time.  The small thumbnails were deleted in one of the iOS updates, and replaced with a multiple "Tab" system.
You can open an additional screen in a new "tab" by pressing and holding on a link until a new menu comes up.

  • Is there a way to display multiple iPad screens on the same television screen simultaneously?

Is there a way to display multiple iPad screens on the same television set concurrently?  The idea is to let multiple individuals do something on their iPads in a timed window and then display the results of each iPad users answer concurrently on te same television.

Devices that display two, four, or even eight video signals on a single monitor are available in the video security market. Maybe you could find something there that would do what you want. A quick search on "security tv screen multiplexor" (without the quotes) yielded millions of pages; several on the first page looked promising if you don't mind composite video.
