An alternate utility you may want to look into is DigiDNA's Disk Aid. You install it on a computer, Mac or PC, connect you phone to it and are able to back up everything on the phone and have access to all the stuff in there. Not free but really worth every penny. Free if you work or study in higher ed.

Backup your phone to iCloud/your PC and when you restore your phone they will all come back.
There are 3rd party apps that will allow you to export your messages on your PC. A google search will help you sort out which suits your needs best.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

The probable cause is that you are sending messages using iMessage (text messages routed as data instead of SMS) and have configured all the phones to use the same ID. In that case, whenever you send a message, it goes to all the devices that are configured to receive messages at the given ID.
The fix, got to Settings > Messages
Then, either turn iMessage off and Send as SMS on (in which case, all messages go to the destination phone number via SMS and the messages count against your provider's SMS messages plan).
... OR - Click on the 'Receive At' button and select the phone's number and remove the e-mail address that's shared between the phones.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

The only way to do this would be to download a 3rd party App. I use Handcent, it lets you customize literally everything, and works perfectly. If you do choose to use a 3rd party app, make sure to turn off all settings in the stock text messaging app for notifications, etc. Otherwise you will get 2 notifications and the 2 apps will conflict each other.

Deleted Text Message Conversation

Hi! I accidentally deleted a very important text message conversation...is there any way to retrieve it? Unfortunatly, it wasn't backed up, so it would have to be on AT&T's side.

I don't believe so.
As you probably know, SMS messages are included with your iPhone's backup, which is updated as needed during the sync process - if any of the data included with the iPhone's backup has changed since the last sync. If this SMS conversation was created and deleted between syncs, I'm afraid you are out of luck.

Cleared text message conversation

Is there any way of recovering a text message conversation that was accidentally cleared?

Pretty sure there is no way on the iphone.
IF the conversation was from before the last time you backed up the phone (usually happens during a sync), then a program like this one should be able to extract the SMS record from the backup file, so that you have it as text even if not on the phone.

Problem:     By default text messages are in conversation view.
1) Does "Asha 308" Support folder "View Flders"?
2) If yes then please tell the method!
3) If not then how can this feature be suggested to Nokia, so it can in incorporated in any new mobile software release.

There is no such way to view them in folder view and I see no need of a separate folder view as the conversation view was only implemented when there were plenty of requests for the same.
Its a good feature, allows easy chatting. Still, if you wish to leave feedback for the implementation of a folder view, you can contact Nokia using appropriate media, not here.

Contacts drop-down menu blocked by on screen keyboard in text messages

Whenever I draft a new text message I put the cursor in the contact box and type the first letter of the name of the person I am trying to contact. If I have more than 3 people in my phone whose names start with that letter, the drop down menu becomes partially obscured by the on screen keyboard. If I attempt to scroll down on the menu, it selects whomever I happen to press. My attempts to minimize the keyboard have been futile. I understand I can work around this by going into contacts and selecting someone to text, but the problem is pretty aggravating. Please help!
