Screen shot VI works fine with Labview 9 but crushes with Labview 10

Hi everyone,
I am using Labview 10 with XP.
The screen shot VI (available in the .zip in this discussion http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Can-i-make-an-automatic-Print-screen-in-labview/td-p/534790/page/2?q... works fine with Labview 9 but makes Labview 10 crush every time (same computer) .
Any solution to make it work with Labview 10?

Works fine using ADS but fails with NTLM

Hello ,
We have developed an iView which grabs data from a SQL database. In the personalization dialog , the user can choose all the values of a column so that the result set contains only those records which had the selected column values. This dialog was implemented using javascript. The iView works fine when it is run on its own using ADS authentication. However, when we implement single-sign on using NTLM the personalization dialog fails when I try to store the personalization dialog.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I have noticed that none of the personalization dialogs work after we have moved to NTLM single-sign-on.After I press apply or save on the personalization dialog , I get a "page not found" error.Please advise.

URGENT: Rest web service with get method works fine in browser but not with java client(Android)

I have created one REST web service which accepts two parameters send back JSON results.
I tested the it in browser with URL as http://+Inteernal server+/ords/utimes/login_info?p1=+first_param+&p2=+second_para+
Web service URL : http://+Inteernal server+/ords/utimes/login_info?p1={p1}&p2={p2}
But when java team wants to access it from java code it gives error as "400- Bad Request".
one more IMP thing : when I test it in RESTful web service by using "set bind variable" , it only set value of first parameter.
APEX version : 4.2
Database : 11g (XE)
ords : 2.0.8
please help me ASAP.

Well, seems I managed to unscrew this...I deleted my iCloud mail account and reinstalled it on my phone. That got rid of the duplicate .me/.mac email accounts.

I’m having an intermittent problem with my midi controllers triggering Mainstage 3.
I’m using a PreSonus Firebox audio interface.
It’s been working fine for months, but now when I first turn on the computer in the morning , I’m not able to trigger MainStage from the keyboard. I tried different midi controllers, different keyboards, different midi cords, and check midi preferences. The audio interface is working fine and is recogonized, but the midi doesn’twork. I re-started the computer several times and then finally it miraculously starts working again.
I’ve been having to this every day now. Any help or ideas is very much appreciated.

I Had the same problem with a FireStudio. Try unplugging the FireWire plug and the power plug. Wait for a few seconds, then plug both back in. The light on my FireStudio was flashing blue/red which means "not connecting." I did what I just described, and everything works again. Hope it works for you.

I am having the same slowness, irratic, unstable issues with Thunderbird that I had 9 months ago. T-bird worked fine last sunday but now is unstable,

Slow to download email, slow to respond or open email, slow or unable to delete email, "A script on this page may be busy....error message when trying to delete an email. I had similar problems before (9 mo ago) but they went away after dealing with McAfee. Thunderbird worked fine last sunday but when I tried to use it today I now have all these problems.

HTML Mashup works fine in Silverlight, but not in UI5

we are building an integrated Customer Service Management solution for a Client of ours, via the SAP Cloud for Customer platform (solution for Services).
Currently, we are trying to embed some external Business Process activities in our Service Tickets UI Screens, by using HTML Mashups. Our reference has been the standard Cloud Application Studio documentation, and some well-written articles here on the SCN, such as the following: HTML script mashup - launched from an Embedded Component by Vinita Sinha.
In our solution, the HTML Mashup has been connected via a Port Binding interface to the C4C UI Layer, in a way to pass it some relevant information such as the Ticket ID, the Customer ID and the Cause Category ID, as shown in the picture below:
We built a custom Port Binding object, but if you use the Standard "Ticket Information" port Binding (in category "Productivity & Tools"), the effect will be the same. The Standard Port Binding we used in the Mashup Authoring configuration floorplan is the following:
In addition, we discovered that, in our case, this Mashup development works just in Silverligh Web Interface, but not in UI5. While in Silverlight we are able to consume and correctly interact with our Mashup, in UI5 we can see just an empty pane stuck at the initial "Loading..." screen, as shown below:
We opened an incident with the SAP Support for our system, and we have been told to try to build the Mashup can work just with no Port Binding specified. Indeed, if we remove the Input Port Binding from the Mashup configuration, the screen seems to work fine even in UI5, as shown below:
Unfortunately, this technical constraint does not cover sufficiently our Business Scenario, because the Mashup should be initialized with our Service Ticket (and Customer) data.
Has anybody ever experienced this kind of issue? And how did you solve it? If it has no resolutions, is there available any possible workaround?

Fixed div that floats right works fine in IE but floats left in other browsers

I have a div that I want to float right and have remain in that position as a user strolls down the screen. I set the position to fixed which works fine in IE8 but when I view it in other browsers (chrome, safari, firefox) the div does stay in position but it floats to the left.
I believe it's just a simple setting that I'm not familiar with.

You can't float a fixed division. Use margins instead.

Serial communication works in hyperterminal but not in LabView

Hello,
I am trying to control an APP Automated Pressure Controller using LabView 6.1 via a serial connection. I am able to control the system with Hyperterminal but not with LabView. I set used the same setup (9600 baud, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control, etc) in LabView that worked in hyperterminal.
According the the documentation from the Pressure Controller: "Every character that is sent to the controller is echoed back to your computer so you can check to see everything is working. When a valid command is given, the controller will also send a carriage return (acsii 13) followed by a line feed (ascii 10) to signify the command was executed. Before sending any commands, the program should clear any characters in the input buffer that may be there from previous responses."
In hyperterminal, when I type in a command such as "OA", the Pressure Controller responds (without pressing enter or any other keys) and I can see the "OA" on the screen. As soon as the Controller is done responding, the cursor moves down to the next line (which I assume is caused by the carriage return and line feed) and waits for the next command.
I have tried to use the Serial Communication.vi with no success. Does Hyperterminal add (or Labview omit) a special character or command that I am missing? Do I need to do something special to clear the input buffer in LabView?

Try to run your application in other system (computer),
frequently some PCs configurations are not recognized by LabVIEW serial
routines. I do not know exactly the problem but is not the first time I know
that kind of problem.
Sometimes the problem comes from the serial property called
Termination Character that enables receive buffered data once you have a
Carrier Return or a Line Feed symbol (Hex 0D/0A) character into the buffer. Try
to set it true and assign a 0A Hex Value.
For sending information you need to finish all command
message with an enter symbol concatenating both (Message + Hex 0D0A) using the
special character in the string palette library. This action permits system to
put out buffered data.

In system preferences, under "universal access" (little blue logo representing a person), check to see if you haven't got the grey levels checkbox checked. It's the only thing I can think of.

I have tried: resetting router, resetting ipad, forgetting network, renewing lease on network, ensuring airplane mode is off, resetting network settings, turning wifi on/off. None of the typical solutions I can find online seem to work. HELP!

You probably don't need it, but the Tiger "iSight Updater" is located in the \System\Library\CoreServices\iSight Updaters\iSight Updater folder.
(You must look manually because SpotLight does not find it.)
Double click the "iSight Updater" there to run the Firmware update manually.

iSight "Product Revision Level" in your Mac's System Profiler shows the installed firmware version for external (Firewire) iSight.
Firmware 1.0.3 Update offers only "Improved audio performance". It does NOT enable audio or any other function, so that is NOT your problem with Skype or YMM. Search or post in their dedicated help/discussions for best and quickest help with those specific, non-Apple apps.
Regardless of whether System Profiler utility shows Firewire iSight's Firmware (Product) level of 1.0.2 or 1.0.3, external iSight ought to work. You can test your external iSight using the suggestions on this linked page:
