It's not uncommon for it to not work the first time and sometimes, you have to try it a few times. Turn off your antivirus software and your firewall while you are trying to restore the iPad. Enable them again after you restore.
If that still won't work, post back with detailed information as to what exactly does happen as you go through the process. -

Same here. I tried to update my iPhone 5S and iPad 4 to 7.1 but iTunes wiped out them. This thing already happened for iOS 7.0.6 update. What happened to Apple? I am really curious whether Apple is aware of this problem.

Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to start. Usually takes about 10 seconds. If still problem, you need to perform DFU Mode Restore.
DFU Mode Restore.
Follow these steps exactly. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release the Power button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds time. If the screen is completely black this is DFU Mode. Restore the iPhone, by clicking the Resore button in iTunes.
DFU Mode can sometimes be difficult to get, keep trying until you get it. DFU Mode is Recovery Mode except the iPhone screen is completely black. -
Broken apple logo with line in running like curve when i start my ipad

I have this problems since yesterday. A curve line appears through the apple logo when i start my ipad...is this indication of a problem???or what...The Apple logo DOES have a curve running through it. If it's just the Apple logo itself and not the screen, then there's nothing wrong.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try on another computer

I have a MacBook (Late 2008 edition) having Mac OS X 10.6.8 SnowLeopard OS installed (2 X 512GB RAM, 160 HDD). I copied some mp3 into iTunes library and soon the process got stucked. MacBook was not accepting any command/it seemed to got hanged. Carelessly, I switched the MacBook OFF by pressing the Power button. Now, when it began to boot again, all I hear was some clicking sound from the MacBook (seems HardDrive failure because the sounds seems to be from HardDrive). After few seconds, It showed flashing folder with question mark and it wont go beyond that.
Steps I tried:
1. Resetting NVRAM, PVRAM and SMC.
2. Booting in safe mode.
3. To boot from install DVD (Mac OS X 10.6.3 SnowLeopard).
4. Holding down 'option' button while booting. It shows the "Mac OS X Install DVD" icon but as I click it and press return, it again shows Apple logo with spinning wheel and little later it shows prohibitory sign with spinning wheel. This will now remain for ever and ever.
5. I bought a new 500 GB HardDrive and replaced the old one with this. Now trying to boot with DVD (Mac OS X 10.6.3 SnowLeopard) it again hows Apple logo with spinning wheel and little later it shows prohibitory sign with spinning wheel. This will remain for ever.
Any suggestions to overcome this problem will be highly appreciated and I'll be very grateful for all your help.

It sounds like your MacBook has a startup issue and you aren't able to reinstall Mac OS X on a new hard disk. The article linked below has a lot of great information and suggestions that will resolve most issues like the one you described.

i got this emac from my uncles friend, and they said it's still working so i was likeok lemme see. and when i turned it on i was like "nice it really is working" but right after it went to the loading screen (Gray apple logo with a whiteBG and the loading icon that keeps circling) it wont go any further.. it just stays like that forever.. 1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward. -
My IPAD 3 FROZE while updating to IOS 6.1.3 Cannot turn IPAD off, cannot connect to ITUNES. Screen shows Apple Logo and vertical progress bar. Progress shows about 50%. Can anyone suggest a solution? Note IPAD 3 still has power and is still showing the LOGO ect. My WIFI is active as I have three other devices able to use WIFI. Thank you for your help

I had to reboot my iMac, it froze... When I went to reboot it started up as usual... Made power sound, showed apple logo (white screen)... And pin wheel started after 3 to 4 mins., went to black screen with error messages. Rebooted 5x, shot off power source, disconnected external devices... Now won't go past pinwheel... Since it does not go to black screen, I cannot convey error messages... Please advise what I could try... Thank you... I have an iMac 2009... Upgrade operating system to new system this spring... Don.
It is guitardad's again... I read past topics on this issue... As I am not overly computer savvy, I want to be careful that I don't mess things up further... Of course the extended warranty is done... There is talk about booting from the system disc... I'm not sure if this is the first thing to do or not... Can the support community, advise me on what logical steps I should take ( in order) or direct me to a website and/ or you tube video that walks one safely through the processes... Once again thank you for reading and offering your advice... I am on fixed $$$ so I'm trying to avoid calling apple, unless I have no options and/or the suggestions do not resolve the issues... AppleTV 3 only showing Apple logo when connected to very new Panasonic plasma - worked Ok with older Panasonic (2007) - have reset AppleTV, tried 3 HDMI cables.
Tried again as you suggested - no luck. Ref sequence below
A. Pressed menu & down to reset Apple TV
B after reset & restart pressed menu & up buttons to change resolution. After pressing both buttons for 6 sec, LED starts flashing - released both buttons. TV screen blank. After 20 to 30 sec horizontal lines came on screen remained for 20 sec then screen again went blank. Waited for couple minutes. LED still flashing - pressed Menu button for 2/3 sec - flashing stopped & LED glows continuously. Screen blank
C. Reset the unit again by pressing menu & down. When it restarted - while LED was still flashing, got orange color screen with Apple logo in the middle. This screen remained till LED stopped flashing & then screen went blank -
Failed Leopard installation, now just show apple logo over white screen.
I just received OS X Leopard (not the new one, I'll buy it tomorrow) in order to upgrade to the new OS X snow Leopard. During the installation (took over 30 minutes to calculate the installation time that it was supposed to be 2 hr 49 min, I don't know if that's the average installation time). After about an hour of installation appeard a big yellow triangle (warning) over a message box saying something like "Installer couldn't verify 'Essentials' on the DVD, please contact the software manofacturer or try to install later". After restart the iMac it never rebooted, just shows the apple logo with the spinning circle, I left it that way last night while I was searching on the net for some help and iMac kept doing the same over 24hrs (apple logo over white screen). After reading on the forums I reboot with command+s and these are the two messages that are coming once and again in an endless loop:
First Message:
Aug 29 01:46:56 tony-guerreros-computer com.apple.launchd[1](com.apple.KernelEventAgent[2228]: posix_spawnp("/usr/sbin/KernelEventAgent", ...): No such file or directory
Second Message:

The number [2228] goes to [2229] then [2230] to the fist msg again, then [2231] to the second msg,.... in an endless loop.
Before this I have never experienced any trouble with this iMac. I don't know what to do now because it doesn't reboot and I don't have any boot disk besides TechTool Deluxe."Ok. But once I got the replacement disk the iMac will boot with the installation disk even though it now stills "gone" and unable to boot by itself? I mean, the installation disk is a bootable disk by itself?"
Read what you wrote and clarify it. You got the replacement disk? Yes or no. Yes the installer disk is a bootable disk. How else did you try to install Leopard? -
I tried to reset my iPhone (3gs) with deleting all data. When it power off and automatically again on then it is showing Apple logo only. Not restore and startup my phone. iPhone alerming low charge and I tried to charge and not charging.
What I should do now?Something has gone wrong. Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, select "new". -
